The last two games of Real Madrid can't be used to determine their good record both in the league and champions league this season because they have had injury issues but they have managed to remain very strong in performance and looking at this match without Jude Bellingham they have been the better team as they dominated Celta Figo in everything despite scoring just one goal. The second half has just began and all Real Madrid needs now is to get another goal and keep the away team from getting closer to their goal post so they won't score a goal against them because if they do it's going to be difficult for them to win the game since they are finding it difficult to score despite playing very well. I have to say even though Real Madrid has only been able to score one goal, they have pretty much dominated so far. They have not given their opponent a lot of chances. And they have done most of the attacking. They have also kept the ball for longer in their possession as well. 77 minutes have been played so far in this match and I do not think Real Madrid is even dropping points in this one. Vini Junior has scored the only goal in this match so far and he did that in the 21st minute.

Bad Luck Vigo

Real Madrid was able to score two more goals after Guaita own goal. It was a surprise that within the last15 minutes of the game, Real Madrid was able to score three goals. In which the second and third goal was an own goal. Carlos Dominguez caused the second own goal on the 88th minutes.

Real Madrid new player Arda Guler that was unable to play in their matches due to injury, scored his first goal for the club on the extra time 90+4mins to end the match with a 4-0 victory for his club. Celta lost concentration of the match on the 78th minutes after the first own goal by Guaita.

Leipzig gave them a tough time but all that matters was to win in aggregate to qualify for the next round, their aim was achieved though despite not winning. I expected a better performance from Celta Vigo because they are good team as well and losing with a 4 goal margin is too much for them, they could have done better but some days are like that and that is just football.

There wasn't much Celta Vigo could do on their trip to the Bernabeu today, and this defeat was basically deserved as Real Madrid came out on top at home with dominance. On the other hand, despite the 2 own goals by Celta players in this match, I think we are fully aware that Madrid's performance has improved again after their previous finishing problems and in this match I also want to praise Brahim's performance which I think is very good. Real Madrid is one club that possesses some of the best talents in football and as a Real Madrid fan, I was very happy to see them come back to winning ways after failing to win any of their last two games in all competitions. After Real Madrid's result of last weekend, they really needed the win against Celta Vigo today to still remain in good position to win the Spanish La Liga title at the end of the season and they won in a clinical fashion. With that win, Real Madrid are now seven points ahead of second placed Girona who I don't think have all it takes to fight Real Madrid for the title this season.

The win was an important one but what really caught my attention in that game was the scorer of the last goal in that game Arder Guler who was signed to the club last summer but have failed to make significant impact since the start of the season because of the injuries that's sidelined him. I was very happy to see him score for the club and I think that'll increase his confidence at the club as well as help him believe more in his abilities. Real Madrid who is believed to be the next home of Kylian Mbappe when he leaves Paris Saint Germaine at the end of the season have succeeded in breeding a group of quality players and should Mbappe join the club next season, playing against Real Madrid will be very difficult for the other clubs

Girona passed this week without any losses. They managed to beat Osasuna 2-0. This victory helped them come to their senses. Real played completely superior in the first half and finished the first half leading 1-0 with Vinicius' goal. I expected them to be weaker offensively without Bellingham, but they are still very good. I wonder if Arda Güler will play in this match because he showed a great performance in the last training sessions.

It seems Girona is not going to be stopped any time soon. They had a perfect performance in the game we saw from them so far and they have even better performances than teams like Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga to make this team to make this team be in the second place in the table but Girona was very close to losing their place to Barcelona in this week.
However this this team the game against Osasuna with a 2-0 result with goals from Sávio and Portu.

Just like i said before after Atletico Madrid lost from Cadiz yesterday then this could be good opportunity for Bilbao to cut their points gap but unfortunately it wouldn't be so simple because i just realized Bilbao had a problem with their away matches and since January Bilbao has through an 4 away matches and the results is not really good because from those matches Bilbao only can collect 2 points and still unable to gets the winning results even few weeks ago Bilbao only playing draw against weak team Almeria

And for Las Palmas 6 wins and 3 loses at home proven Las Palmas is not the team who can be underestimate because their performance at their home ground is quite stable and sometimes Las Palmas too can performing well and succeed to beat big teams just like Atletico Madrid so i don't think this is easy match for Bilbao and for squad conditions Las Palmas players in the good shape including their key player Kirian Rodriguez and for Bilbao Ander Herrera still hard struggling to recover from his injured but besides him all of Bilbao players in the good fitness and actually from recent performance and squad quality certainly Bilbao much better than Las Palmas but after seeing Bilbao away matches records i was very doubt they can able to overcomes Las Palmas and i was thinking probably this match will ended to draw and this option has high odds @3.50 or both teams to scores for safe bets

It seems Atletico Madrid is sleeping and they don't want to get up any time soon. They are losing opportunities against the team they had to normally win and the game against Cadiz was one example, I was predicting to see Atletico Madrid would win this match easily against Cadiz but they couldn't and Atletico Madrid lost it with a 2-0 result which really wired for me to see this bad performance from this team.
Atletico Madrid was known for their good performance they were usually racing with Real Madrid and Barcelona at the top of the table but losing this match made Atletico Madrid far from the top side and they even have to be careful to don't lose their place in the fourth place of the table to Bilbao, and Blibao is very lucky to see Atletico Madrid is this weak and poor situation.

Girona have built a quality club and strong players this season. Girona is seven points clear from Atletico Madrid, and they are 2 points clear from Barcelona. Girona was able to score a second goal, after much effort which they put in to be able to find the back of the net the second time. Savio was able to take a shot on the 86th minutes to seal up their victory, and left their visitors hopeless, with no point in the match.

Girona have played 10 straight games at home unbeaten,and this is a good record for them. Osassuna was unable to score any goal and allowed their host to win them on clean sheet. Portu was the MVP of the match because he scored the first goal which made Girona to stay strong in the game, until the back up goal was scored.

It is not so much about the quality of their team. I think they do have a good team for sure, but they are going through some harder times and nobody underestimates them anymore. They were at 48 points after 19 games and then they lost some of their momentum, which on the one hand was to be expected, but on the other hand they couldn't afford it in light of how Real Madrid has been performing. I think the La Liga title was too much of a goal for them this season. But honestly if Real Madrid also signs Mbappe, I don't know who the heck wants to stop them in La Liga. While Real Madrid has players like Vinicius Junior, Bellingham and then perhaps Mbappe, Barcelona is trying to solve debt problems. This could have consequences in the long run. The world stars aren't considering Barcelona anymore at the moment. If they have the choice, it would be Real Madrid 90% of the time.

But putting all of this aside, Girona is playing an amazing season no matter what. They are competing with the top La Liga teams and yet they are maintaining their spot ahead of Barcelona and Atletico.

Starting with Barcelona, then Girona won yesterday with a 2-0 scoreline. Then Madrid rounded things up with that 4-0 thumping of Celta Vigo whose woes continue as they only sit 2-points away from the drop zone. In my opinion, Girona still chasing for the La liga title is still very much possible especially if Madrid starts dropping points in the near future
