just a general question, since you seem very involved with sports betting in the United States,

there were a few systems of statistical arbitrage being discussed, and how especially during the last hour of betting you could find some guaranteed wins by taking opposite sides from different bookies, have you ever looked into it and made money out of it ? Would be even better if it's achieved on sites that accept crypto...

I would strongly recommend arbitrage methodologies as betting outright doesn't seem to be working out very well for you so far...

About your question, this is a very well-thought one and really an interesting method to make a profit out of sports betting. Yes, I looked at it (arbitrage) and it is very promising because your are really targetting a guaranteed profit as long as all the necessary qualification for an arbitrage betting/trading has been met. Though, it is quite cumbersome because you need to have different accounts to almost all the bookies out there and they must have bankroll within it. Others use this method and they definitely earn significant profit because of it. But, this specific method is not my cup-of-tea and honestly, I don't enjoy this kind of betting.

I'm slowly earning my lost units and as you can see, my wins are gaining momentum against my losses. The only reason that I have negative units was because I didn't control my bankroll at the start of this thread. Currently, I'm being consistent with my bankroll management and the result is already being seen. I'm very positive that I'll be able to win all those units that were lost and earn some profit if I continue my method.

I'm backing the Blackhawks on Monday night. Chicago jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead over Winnipeg last time out but spent about half the game skating like they had their skates on the wrong feet, then lost in OT. I did see things I liked from Chicago and really, once going to OT it was a 50-50 game. They've been at home for a while now, this marks their third straight on home ice and after losing their first two I expect an intense effort. Edmonton is off to a great start - but we're not quite buying just yet and this will be their 4th road game since October 8. Strong spot for Chicago and we'll back them on Monday.

BOOOOOM!!!! What a great game we just had there! I really thought that we'll gonna lose that game because of that first quarter but they picked their pace on the 2nd and 3rd. We ended up winning the game with 3-1 score. This is a MONSTER day for us. Tonight the Vancouver Canucks get this game at home but at the same time the Canucks will be playing without their starting goalie Markstrom who is out with a family matter. Backup goalie Thatcher Demko will get the start and I don't mind him in the net because Detroit Red Wings goalie Howard is coming off back-to-back losses at home. The Canucks have won back-to-back home games and come into this home well-rested since they haven't played since October 12 when they beat the Flyers 3-2. Detroit has dropped 2 out 3 games and last year the home team won both meetings and I see that trend continuing tonight at the Rogers Arena. Detroit is 3-11 following a home loss of 3 goals or more and the Vancouver Canucks are a perfect 5-0 in their last 5 home games.

Thanks for checking me out swogerino.  It's kinda motivational for me when I see someone provide their time and effort to read my thread and provide some feedback about it. When I'm starting this thread, I made a very big mistake to not manage my bankroll and now, I'm doing my best to be more efficient about it.

Carolina is 6-1 and has been dominating out of the gate. However, I think that they are going to slip here. San Jose is a good team that's gotten off to a shaky start. Part of that has been their schedule. They started with four of six on the road and they were forced to take on rival Vegas twice in the opening three days. Regardless, the Sharks have won two in a row and look like they might be correcting themselves. The home team has won seven of eight in this series and I think it is a bit of a red flag that the 2-4 Sharks are favored over the 6-1 Hurricanes.

The Jets are all over the place. But the bottom line is that this team is not nearly as good as they have been the past two seasons. That said, I have a hard time seeing them losing three straight home games. This is just the second road game the Islanders have played this year. They lost the first, 5-2, and were not competitive at all in that one. The Islanders are coming off two straight OT/SO wins. And they are that close to being on a four-game losing streak coming into this game. Had that been the case this number probably would've been closer to -160. I'll go with the home ice here on a short line.

What a sad day for us. Our streak has ended yesterday as the Jets cannot deliver what was expected from them and got trashed by Islanders. The Alouettes need to have a statement win if they want to keep some momentum heading into the last few weeks of the season and playoffs. They have been up and down with only two wins in their last five games but they are in with a home game so they need to get things cleaned up on both sides of the ball. Toronto is long gone from the playoff picture but they did get a win over an even more hopeless Ottawa squad last week so a let down is in the cards in this one. The Als are 4-1 ATS in their last five games and the Argos are 2-4-1 on the road ATS so all signs point to a win and cover for Montreal and they should have little trouble making that happen.

What a game between the Alouettes and Argonauts. Both of them delivered and showed up. The game was back and forth since the beginning with no real winner not until the later part of it. Though the expected winner (Alouettes) won, they didn't cover the spread and thus we lost another bet today. I'm really hoping that they could cover their spread but the Argonauts really put up a magnificent fight.

Are we starting to hit a rough patch now? Hopefully not. Combing through the numerous games today.

These two teams are heading in opposite directions, and I just do not believe Iowa should be this big of a favorite. Purdue has righted the ship after losing their quarterback, and they dominated Maryland last week in impressive fashion. Purdue has beaten Iowa two straight games, and the visitor has dominated this series, going 8-1 ATS in the last 9 meetings. Iowa is not explosive on offense, and Purdue has played well in their last 7 quarters (last 3 against Penn State). Purdue was shell shocked early by Penn State but held their own after the first quarter and got a pass rush against them. Iowa is coming off back-to-back losses and have seen their hopes for a Big 10 Title Game appearance all but vanish. Iowa is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 conference games. Purdue is 15-7 ATS in their last 22 road games.

Match: Seattle Seahawks - Baltimore Ravens

WIN!!! - PICK: TAKE the UNDER 49.5 for 2.17 UNITS (1.81 ODDS).

I know that these are two of the highest scoring teams in the NFL. But at their cores, both teams rely on running the ball and playing tough defense. And that's what I think that we're going to see here. The Seahawks - despite having a terrible offense apart from Russell Wilson - has scored at least 27 points in five straight games. I simply don't see that continuing here. This is the best defense that they've faced since the Saints game. But that game was just 27-7 with 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter before the Seahawks scored a bunch of garbage time points. Baltimore's offense is showing some signs of slowing after a superb start. Teams are starting to get some tape on the Ravens, and their lack of vertical passing game makes it tough for them to ring up explosive plays down the field. The 'under' is 10-5-1 in Baltimore's last 16 games against NFC teams and I think that this number was set a bit too high. Look for this one to be more of a grinder and to stay 'under'.

Will be watching this thread more closely now, as it seems to be the case that bankroll management was the top reason for the earlier losses, and now that you have that under control noting from your previous responses, it'll be interesting to see if your predictions can provide a sustained strong edge on the US sports betting scene...
