No KYC, you prove your humanity (that you are not a bot) by solving Turing test - "The Turing test, originally called the imitation game by Alan Turing in 1950,[2] is a test of a machine's ability to exhibit intelligent behaviour equivalent to, or indistinguishable from, that of a human"

After solving test that is being done simultaneously by whole network each 3 weeks (more or less) you can start mining. Your hardware does not matter, your stake does not matter, you have equal voting power and equal rewards with others because you are a human as others are (proved by turing test).
