Senegal was the only team to get 3 points among African teams but this only happened in the second round vs weak Qatar. Their next game vs Ecuador will tell which team will progress between them but honestly Ecuador is very powerful and should not be underestimated. They showed better performance vs Netherlands than their game vs Qatar, it will not be an easy game for Senegal at all.
For the other teams, their mission is harder..

North African and some South African are Caucasian, yet they live in the African continent and are part of CAF.
The problem of African football is that the level of teams are way behind the other part of the world although many European teams have so many African origin players there, including key players. Even the level of national leagues is very poor, so we cannot expect much from them. If Senegal will be able to pass this stage it will be awesome.

Luck in the world cup is really needed, Tunisia is also one of my favorite teams, and to be honest I didn't expect Australia to be able to beat them. Calling players like Jay-Jay okocha and trophy in the same sentence is funny, because that guy basically didn't win anything major but just wasted his career dancing around the field. The other players you mentioned are goated but okocha is just leaving off the fact of him been popular and coming for Nigeria with football fans population. His stats are also ridiculous but I understand that then it wasn't about the stats but way of play and how you made the game enjoyable to the audiences but still that doesn't win you games.

Senegal vs Ecuador is going to be an interesting feature indeed but I don't think Senegal will have much challenges in that game. The Senegalese team should win that game flawlessly. Tunisia on the other hand were a disgrace. They just wasted the Africa slot at the tournament. I'm sure teams like Egypt or Nigeria would had done better then them. I won't be surprised if the lose the last game as well. They have nothing to play for again but just enjoy their last game at Qatar.

The very last five FIFA World Cups that Tunisia has actually participated in have seen them miss out on the knockout stage.

Just because Nigeria didn't make it to the world cup doesn't mean I don't have the right to criticize the other nations that are representing African at the world cup when they play badly. We have criticized Nigeria and the likes of Egypt which are power house of Africa football already in the past for not been represented at Qatar so now if the representing countries aren't doing well we can criticize them as well and maybe next time they won't bother going if they know they won't showcase the Africa football that we all want to watch.

As it stands, Morocco are top of their group which is unlikely for an African nation but I'm loving it. I don't think they can miss out of qualifying from the group stage at this point.

Watching the first half of the game I almost didn't want to continue because Belgium dominated the game right from the ball possession, corners, shots on goal even pass accuracy but coming to the second half of the game the African team changed the game dramatically as they caused severe pain in the defense line of Belgium with their constant attack which continued till they got the reward with a beautiful goal in the 73rd minute by Abdelhamid Sabir.


The goal motivated them to push more attack and finally they were stable as Hakim Ziyech put the Moroccan team side in a more comfortable position with a fantastic assist to Zakaria Aboukhlal who gave the African team the second goal that ensures them a possibility of qualification if they should defeat Canada in their last game.


No one believed that the Moroccan team can defeat the number one-ranked team in the world not even an African team but the performance of Morocco today did not just indicate an improvement in African football it shows how overrated Belgium's team has been, big congratulations to the Morrocan team for a good job.

this was without a doubt a great victory for morocco, but there are still more obstacles that they need to overcome if they want to move on to another phase, morocco needs to concentrate and play well in order to win the game against canada and then comes the biggest obstacle, winning the team that moves on to another stage, where the African teams have suffered a lot, and we are not able to reach the final of the world cup, we Africans have to think big, we have to have the ambition of having strong teams capable of reaching the final of the cup in the world, unfortunately with the corruption we have in Africa that even in soccer arrived and settled for years, soccer in Africa does not evolve

since years ago, tunisia has always been a good team, they will always play well, but i confess that i didn't expect them to lose against australia, tunisia even had more possession of the ball, but they didn't manage to score a goal, that has been the problem of African teams, their attack is weak, I was impressed with Ghana, Senegal and Morocco who managed to score 2 goals

Am not saying you do not have the right to criticise them but saying they are a disgrace is more than criticism when we know that our own country did not even make it to Qatar. There is still time to judge if our Africa teams are failures or not at the end of the first round. For now the victories of Senegal and Morocco are things of joy and we have to continue to celebrate them. Maybe they will encourage other Africa countries to do well.

In group F, I see that Morocco is the strongest team besides Croatia. they beat Belgium with a score of 2-0 in the last minutes of the match and it really surprised many parties, apart from that Morocco was filled with many young players which made it difficult for Belgium.
