...I'm no part of the "hate on dogie" crowd.
It is not a "hate on dogie" crowd. It is an ever increasing number of forum members who have legitimate grievances. The reason you are not amongst them is probably because you have not yet: been neg rep'd by him for having a different or correct point of view, or been neg rep'd by one of his aliases for no reason, or been fraudulently charged VAT by him, or been publicly wrongfully accused of something by him, or had your thread spammed with BS by him, or been given false reports & bad reviews by him, or been insulted & bullied off the forum by him, or had your posts reported & deleted by him because he doesn't like what you say, etc, etc..... Spondoolies themselves have been a victim of his slurs. Don't worry - you'll soon get to be a member of this "crowd" when he gets round to you.....

I am looking to get out of the mining business and I currently have 10 Sptech miners I want to sell.
The miners are currently hosted at toomim brothers (5-SP30 and 5-SP31). Toomim bros have been the perfect home for these miners for they are experts and provide an exceptional customer service.
If you are interested please PM me directly.

I confirm the above. In case you're wondering, Toomim Bros can serve as an escrow for this transaction.

That or try to sell them still there. Normally hosting centers try to sell to people who want them hosted there, that way they don't loose any hosting incomes and they don't have to ship them out. So it is a little odd they are not trying to find buyers for them who want to keep hosting with them.

We're trying to scrape enough money together to do a 1.5 MW expansion. Our current capacity is basically full. Spending money on miners means we have less money available for expansion and less capacity for other customers. Sorry for the thread hijack; I just replied where btcgnome made the post. Marketplace -> Goods -> Computer Hardware would definitely be the more appropriate forum.

Hi,
I heard that Bitcoin Shop (btcs) just bought Spondoolies-Tech? I would like to start a hostile bid to take over Spondoolies. How do I do it. I will hostilely bid $10000 to take over. Would you consider it?

He's been nothing but cool to me in our few interactions. But anyway, I'll just leave it at that. As I said, I'm slightly positive, and overall neutral towards the man. His guides have been very helpful to me, and whether or not the above holds true, he and I have never crossed swords.

Dogie has done a ton of work for this community--even if he's a dick (which I've never experienced in dealing directly with him) he's still brought a ton of value to newbs and pros alike. No one is perfect, but I don't believe the pitchforks are merited.

Overmoderation again. Especially in a SELF MODDED thread. Someone doesn't want STech thread bumped but they tend to ignore that in Bitmaintech or Avalon threads that predominate this section of the forum.
what are you talking about? The hardware forum has this thread and an SP20 thread, both of which are not very busy, and with no real news out of SP-T. If you want more threads, make one front-page worthy.

Probably just random noise and per the announcement it would appear that they've merging / been bought by another company already. As to the final legal structure Guy will have to go into that.

Buy Antminer S2 board, and you can get them 6pc or buy some (broken) Block Erupter Cube 30-38 GH/s and get 2 pcs, only in black color.

I'm not sure about that on local computer store. GPU's have a amazingly long RMA period. Most go to RMA's that are broken. I would guess most that go there get sent in for replacement. If you had a recycle center I guess it's possible.

You're right about new GPU's but there are also "old" cards which have practically no value and are thrown away.At least here where I live (Finland).

As many suppliers as there is today for just about anything you wouldn't think it would be that much trouble. However it seems that it is so application specific there is no need for anyone to supply it to the public. I wasn't planing on salvaging anything to get a fix, and the time to do it all. Anyway, I do appreciate the replies. It looks like I need to get more aggressive and try to clean out the melted plastic with more than a paper clip.
