I downloaded the Qora wallet v13, created a new wallet and tried sending some qora into it from poloniex.
I get this error "Zero header, Data corrupted"

Any help is appreciated....

That error is from poloniex right? I reported to their mods they may have something wrong with their wallet before. Maybe do the same.

Unfortunately we live in the period of time for crypto where marketing is essential for a success of a coin.  Warranted or not, if you don't have the hype, you will get ignored.

All sectors of innovation, especially in the realm of computer tech, are filled with stories of superior products getting killed by competitors because the competition caught the eye of the public.

To be sure, I would like to help promote QORA some, but other than posting thoughts and small-analysis on here, I've not had much time.  Also, I don't have a single "marketing" bone in me, but I can see it's importance.  I would suggest, however, that we as a community should move into a more open, fluid community like Reddit and the cryptocurrency sub.  People come here, but the dynamic is different than reddit and I think it's easier to get attention over there, rather than here on BTT where any altcoin ANN is simply noise.

I haven't bern to reddit in over two weeks (yeah, I've been that busy) but if a couple of you all post a discussion or two, I'll try to make an effort to answer questions, up-vote posts and add supporting comments.

can someone give me some links of some info about naming service provided through qora wallet? i see that you can ragister names. and sell them later but what is it for? also if you register a name what happens? you need to pay for it or something?

I think the biggest mistakes was to have a chat function that takes the general discussion away from this thread and so the average person doesn't even know this coin has a leader or anything.

I say close the Chat and use this thread only. It's little things like that we need not big twitter campaigns. Just basic stuff.


Qora needs to ask someone to be the coordinator of this coin and create a small team. Or someone comes froward who thinks they can coordinate this coin.

We don't have a leader, not even Qora is our leader. If you want something done you're more than welcome to do it yourself. If it's something good, people will even help and support you. What you say is true in an open source code. In this particular coin, you have to wait for your dev to do something. Of course only technical, and only issues that cannot be solved by API. anyone can act alone on non-technical aspects.

people like you are the problem. If you are shouting down others then I guess you assume you have some leadership authority rather than just having a stupid opinions.

The problem with a few people is they did kind of take leadership by their profile and then didn't follow through.
We have had a few people that volunteered early on but people like Dzarmush etc shouted them down. We need at least to know who the leadership is in a defined way. A team was already picked but they are not here. Until they either go or turn up no one can do anything.

I don't want to be a jerk but this is typical of those quote heavily involved in Qora. It's not a direct criticism of the guy, he can do what the hell he wants to but we need people who are committed to Qora not other coins for fucks sake!






Bear in mind when I tried to pump Qora a bit he attacked me. What's his agenda? It isn't Qoras that's for sure.



I'll say it as clear as I can one more time. Get Chat closed and bring the conversation to the thread. then let's discuss how we get this coin into the top 10 where it deserves to be. What's great is we have a voting system so it's easy to make community desk ions but we need to know who's in and committed and who's not.

Did we give up getting on more exchanges?

No more excuses. And we got to go open source. Clones and the BS that comes form them are the best marketing we can hope for at this point.


This is a coin that needs it's doors blown open. Sorry but Qora won't do it, but he can at least he discussing with us on here not hidden in chat.

so what do you want to do?  

I want people to at the very least not stop others from doing something or sharing something without negativity. Start with that comment.

And one thing would be good is anyone who actually supports this coin to get rid of the sell walls so we can move up. personally I want to coordinate major stakeholders to move the price in intelligent ways. Thing is I never thought we needed to do anything more than what Qora asked us to do. It was the community that said they wanted to do loads of marketing before Qora wanted to. BUt then they disappeared. It would be better to of done nothing than promised and walked away.
