I want people to at the very least not stop others from doing something or sharing something without negativity. Start with that comment.

And one thing would be good is anyone who actually supports this coin to get rid of the sell walls so we can move up. personally I want to coordinate major stakeholders to move the price in intelligent ways. Thing is I never thought we needed to do anything more than what Qora asked us to do. It was the community that said they wanted to do loads of marketing before Qora wanted to. BUt then they disappeared. It would be better to of done nothing than promised and walked away.

I'm saying if you are going to do something do it clearly and follow through. At the moment it's all half hearted and uncoordinated by half hearted individuals.

I personally don't like twitter like campaigns, they are a waste of money, better just have an active thread. And we won't get more activity if we don't close chat and quickly open source so people can come in and work on wallets etc. Sometimes ideas don't require much action.

plus we need to connect with the chinese Qora community as I'm guessing they are the ones with a lot of stakes!

Unfortunately not everybody is heated like we are (reading every post here) and prefer other channels to stay informed. I don't like the twitter campaign too, because it spams the same things all round, so I created another account to provide important info. But I would not dare to say they are doing it all wrong. These channels are important to bring some attention.
Some people are working here and I don't care if it is half hearted. Because they want to help Qora. If your target is price rise, just do it. I have no doubt it's gonna be full hearted pump

I have already said why this coin lacks support. Those who took leadership if you follow their posts are more interested in a various bunch of coins. Some set up road maps and have since not been seen. Go follow Dzarmuch he is on all the other coins rallying them he can't be trusted to do anything here. He is typical, more active on NXT and Node threads than here.

This is thread is the best marketing tool we have right now. Lets showoff all the great work thats going on through this thread. Right now for a new comer, the thread doesnt give a sense of amount of work thats going on in the coin. Lets fix that first.

ii) Then around the time that AE is about to launch, lets start threads everyday here on bitcointalk that discuss and showcase the asset exchange. Lets also collect a list of assets that people want to create on the Qora asset exchange during launch. Lets all think of one innovative asset that we can create on Qora...dont just think of stock...remember we can assetize anything!

It has to start somewhere. The more people start using the Official forum, the more people will use it. It's a catch 22, I know, but having a hub of our own will be beneficial in the long term. Now is the time to start building it up. Nobody needs to abandon this thread, it is an important resource, but Qora will never be anything more than "just another altcoin" until we start building a community and making resources that can stand apart from BTT.

dont thnk we are generating enough activity to warrant moving to our own forum yet(Althought its good to have that option). I want to reference counterparty thread as an example. The whole community was on the BT thread for a long time untill the momentum naturally overflowed into the counterparty forum. What do u guys think?

Heres an idea to incentivize community contribution. I'm planning to create an asset named after me when the Qora asset exchange launches. The idea being that, as I actively engage in various activities for promoting qora. The community members who like my work can buy up my asset as a vote of appreciation, which inturn is an incentive for me to helpout more. Now imagine we have an number of our community members doing this(Especially the whales). We will have a healthy gamification of community involvement, incentivizing more people to help out and we have our first unconventional use case for the asset exchange 


Any thoughts/improvements on this idea? Lets roll

I don't think we should think I terms of 'marketing' as in twitter, reddit etc but we have some great tools in Qora to pro the it. We have a fully functioning voting system, make some polls for areas that people have an opinion, make a thread for it. We can even vote for areas not concerned with Qora but crypto generally or we can vote for a bunch of funny memes etc.

Plus we can use the AE. one thing I would like to see is an attempt at a serious gold hook up, maybe with an established gold dealer etc or we could get anon guy to do a silver one like he did with NXT. I wonder how hard it would be to do with Qora what some are already doing with Bitcoin? http://www.coinabul.com

Let's forget NXT is not our model, Bitcoin is.

AE is an areas that had huge potential to show people what can be done with Qora. Anyone got contacts in a commodity industry ideally precious metals? Or even fiat with a small bank.

I like the out of the box thinking, I do see some pitfalls like generally us looking a bit silly that we have made coins of ourselves. It's not that crazy though I remember there was some exchange for celebrities;D Like I said, your out of the box thinking is really good. we should brainstorm further ideas for the AE assets.
