Hello everyone.

I found this question the other day:

What is the best way to do votes among owners of crypto securities.  For instance, using counterparty what would be the best way to do a vote among people who own shares, accounting for how many shares they own as well?

Now I'm wondering, from my no-programmer perspective: Qora has a voting system and Qora has an AE. Is it technically feasible to allow votes within a group of asset holders?

I know Qora needs more marketing, we need to be published and rated by websites like : coinsource.com, cryptoarticles.com etc. We need to hit Bittrex and Mintpal, We need promoting in China. It will also be nice if Qora will be used for something, that you can pay with it or whatever..

qora的ae于21号正式发布。
相较于其他的ae，qora的ae具有的最显著的特点是任意资产间均可以交易。
以nxt的ae为例，nxt的ae只允许其他资产与nxt进行交易，而不允许其他资产间交易，如果你想购买某种资产，你必须先购买nxt后，才能去购买资产。同样你出售资产所得到的也是nxt。
但是qora的资产具有完全不同的理念，qora的AE对每一项资产会赋予一个编号，这个编号是唯一的，同时将qora也作为一项资产，并编号为0。从本质上来说，在qora的ae中，qora作为一项资产与其他资产是等价的，因此qora的ae可以实现任意资产间的交易。qora的ae不强制使用qora作为中间货币。这是qora所独有的特点。
这一特点使得利用qora的ae可以建立一个交易所。
以btc和ltc的交易为例，我可以发布一项btc资产，每一项btc资产等价于一个btc，当有人充值时，我就将等量的btc资产发给他。同时我也发布ltc资产，同样的，有人充值后，我将发给他同等数量的ltc资产，这样拥有btc资产的人可以与拥有ltc资产的人交易。
与此同时这些资产可以在任何时候兑换，也就是说btc资产任何时候可以向我兑换回btc，ltc资产也可以兑换会ltc。这相当于提现。
当然我也可以建立btc与人民币以及其他任意虚拟的交易。这样一个建立在去中心化系统下的中心交易所就建立起来了。
这一点是其他目前的AE平台所无法做到的。
与传统的交易所相比较，这样的交易所有着显著的优点。
第一，我不需要自己去运营一个网站。依托qora本身的系统就足够了。这将极大的缩减建设网站所需要的成本。
第二，我再也不用担心安全问题了。目前交易所的安全问题显然是第一需要考虑到问题。
第三，我也不需要是IT 专家。
第四，费用低廉。由于目前qora的AE发行资产和转移资产的费用仅仅为1qora，不到1厘钱，即使qora的价格再涨100倍，这个交易费也不超过1毛。
当然，AE本身是需要信任的，这与你去任何一个交易所去，必须信任这个交易所是一样的。
当然未来的qora将从技术层面做到无需信任即可。
这样一个交易所正在计划中，在不久的将来，人们就可以在qora的ae上交易任何资产。

The bare minimum for any IPO should be a well known escrow service provider to hold the BTC. This is a bare minimum, and any IPO that refuses should be immediately questioned.

Does anybody already knows when Qora goes OS. I thought at IPO Qora DEV told us after 3 months.. we already past 3 months..

The community makes the decision by vote, the general belief is after GUI work in hopefully 1-2 months time.


Can I suggest to the community we go for an early vote if people are thinking to go OS early, a new wave of interest is coming it seems and it might be good to capture that movement and go OS now?

As i type, qora is a great product, but no body use it.
AE is not a big deal if nobody use it.
NXT's AE is very good, we can't deny it.
And at this moment, NXT's AE is better to use.
I mean with NXT's GUI and block explorer it's very convenient to use.
If we can't find something unique, then people have no reason to use qora's AE.
The stakeholders expect the price will soar up and wait to dump.
But no more new comers. The price didn't rise.
4 month has past, but the address who own more than 10K qora is less than 700.
Basically it's a game between the stakeholders.
No new comers.
That why the price will never rising.
Qora's AE is far from easy to use.
We should find something which NXT's AE can't do.
We really need to open the source code of V1. There is no need to worry about clones as we already have AE and other features. V1 don't have any new features such as voting system, Arbitrary transaction and AE.
It's the time to open it. We need people to review the protocol.

As i type, qora is a great product, but no body use it.
AE is not a big deal if nobody use it.
NXT's AE is very good, we can't deny it.
