agree with what you said. even though their squad depth is quite good but on the other hand they also have quite a lot of internal problems that make them not too superior in this regard.
One example that is still spreading is the fact that the players' egos are still large and Poche's inability to assemble this star-studded squad.

In a previous post I said that marseille will destroy angers in that match, but it looks like you still have faith in anger and I think now you have lost some money on that bet because of favoring anger, hopefully you don't lose a lot of money in that match

To be honest I changed my betting choice in the match Marseille Vs Angers, I chose Marseille in that match after 2 goals in the first minute made by the Angers players, I thought that at least Marseille could make the result a draw.

The main event today is Monaco - Lyon obviously. I'm expecting to watch a very competitive game and an incredible rivalry between these teams. Monaco seem to be one of the deadly teams in home games this season. Lyon have a really difficult job to do now. But when it comes to the general performance of each team, they are really similar to each other. Lyon are only one point above Monaco in the standings. But if we compare the recent performances, Lyon are having a better streak. They haven't lost for seven weeks in the league and won their last three games. They would resist Monaco well but I still feel like Monaco would win by a one-goal difference or draw with them.

Monaco hasn't been beaten so far this year. It seems that firing Kovac was the right move so far. He isn't my favorite coach anyway, but when a team is more successful than before over a longer period of time, it obviously seems to have had an effect. If they win this today, they can certainly catch up with the top three, which I guess is still their goal for this season.

I am quite saddened to lose my bet here but indeed St. Etiennce played quite well at the end of the second half and indeed Montpellier lost concentration in the final minutes due to being attacked continuously so they had to concede the ball 3 times in a row in a span of 10 minutes.

Marseille just destroyed Angers yesterday in a home game by 5-2. And it was really epic that they turned the game around from a 0-2 disadvantage in the first half. They ended it by a 2-2 draw. And in the second half, Angers weren't able to do anything against them. Marseille got a spectacular performance that they didn't even let their opponent shoot for once. And A. Milik also had a great day as he made a hat-trick. He has 4 goals in total in the Ligue 1 so far and he scored three of them here.

Well they are the second ranked team (for now) for a reason. They are really good and it would be unlike them to just go head to head with Angers. Obviously in any game anything could happen, they could face each other for 10 times straight and there could be 5-2 like this or 2-5 the other way around, it is football. But the expectations from them was exactly like this.

Angers is a midtable team at the very best of times, whereas Marseille is a team that is trying to regain their good old times and have a great period. I wonder what's going to happen with Lille vs PSG, between Lille being bad this seasons and PSG probably being angry that they lost the championship last season, that could be even bigger difference.

Interesting match and Wissam Ben Yedder is getting stronger to be top score Ligue 1, this is the 14th goal to all game and 10th for 7 last game this shows him as the sharpest striker. Because of that, he linked to Newcastle next summer. With this winning, Monaco was able to jump from 9th position to 4th position and have a chance to Champion league zone when stable like this.

Hm, the most crafted team... They are a bunch of world stars bought by a sheikh in hopes of winning the Champions League. Honestly, all the top teams from any league would dominate the Ligue 1 the same way PSG now does. Imagine Manchester City or Liverpool or Bayern in Ligue 1, same picture.

Extremely attractive odds for PSG to win:

Probably they are explained by the fact that PSG shows an uncertain game in recent matches, and its leaders are far from the form that is expected of them. But I'll probably take a chance and bet on PSG (and add Real and Juventus victories for boosting). I hope this weekend the defeats of the favorites have reached their limit.

The dominance of Lyon's players was noticeable throughout the entire match. Ball possession Lyon 64% and Monaco 36%. Moreover, Lyon's team has attacked a lot than Monaco. Lyon made a total of 19 shots, while Monaco made 10. Monaco has made less shots than Lyon but their every attack was strong. Monaco was able to make 6 on-target shots, while Lyon did 5. I would be happy if Lyon was able to draw the match.

The biggest games of this week were the Monaco - Lyon and Lille - PSG ones. The Monaco - Lyon game was played and Monaco were really effective in this game. They were above the expectations by winning 2-0. As Lyon were doing well on the past weeks, my expectations were higher from them as they would have scored at least one goal. But Monaco overwhelmed them really nicely. And when it comes to the other big game, there are minutes left for it to start. And I'm definitely favouring PSG to win this.

The game will start in a few minutes but PSG winning is what's important not scoring many goals and if it happens that they lose the match (because Lille OSC has beaten them twice last year) it still doesn't mean anything since PSG is leading the chart with a lot of points ahead of others. But, I believe PSG will win this game though.

It is interesting to see Lyon being such a bad team this year. They are 8th for the time being, god knows where they will end up with the games are over. They were at one time the most dominating power in France, way before PSG became like this. They had championships back to back all the time.

This is the result of bad management I suppose, I didn't follow up on what happened to them so I do not know, but just because PSG got better didn't mean that Lyon would have to become this bad. Which proves that they had a bad situation at hand and they are living the results of that. I hope that they get better in the future, they definitely deserve it.

French League is very unpredictable we can expect many unusual results regularly from any team like we have Nice vs Clermont home team lost to 17th ranked team if we talk about Monaco vs Lyon then this can be expected because both teams are level in quality and have few very good players those are capable to give their best for win of their team.

In recent matches Ben Yedder is doing very good job for Monaco just because of this now they are at 6th spot now they can think about again next season in UEFA Europa Cup spot because now Champions League spot is hard for them all three teams are doing very good but any unusual or big issue can bring them down otherwise in my view we will have no change in these top three spots in French League table.

Messi scored 1 goal and 1 assist so far and I think it's a good job from him. It was a match that PSG really deserved to win in my opinion although Lille also managed to create some chances.

I'm happy that Messi scored today, he has to do a lot more for the rest of the season with PSG. There were several other chances that Messi had but so far he has only managed to score 1 goal.
