This was really shocking match for many because in this season no one was expecting result like this but still Rennes done job, we all know PSG is going to do some big in this season, but this match was nightmare for them.
Odds were @6.5 for Rennes and @1.4 for PSG.

We have too much noise about this match around here because mostly peoples those follow French Ligue they know its not easy match for PSG and history between these two teams in last 5 matches Rennes won 3 time and PSG just once and one is draw.

Well, as many have already pointed out, it wasn't SUCH a big shock actually, since Rennes have an incredible record against PSG. It's all about the bogey team when it comes to this type of football. Tactics can be nullified (zero shots on target proves this).

Perhaps in the past Rennes would be 10.x against PSG but their fans must be happy to get nice profits in every time they meet

Yes I thought of the same thing. Changed the normal 4-3-3 formation of three defensive midfielders to just two men midfield in a formation of 4-2-3-1. He wanted to experiment a new formation by involving Di maria but it back fired. Marco Verratti and Idrissa Gueye couldn't protect the the back line. It is normal if they lost a single game in about 10 games. Personally, the three man midfield is preferable considering the habit of the offensively players. Messi, Neymar, Mbappe do not help defensively and it endangers the team if there is no good defensive cover from the midfield. He is trying to involve Di Maria into the team, but it did not work out well against Rennes.

Three players don't contribute too much for defense system and it would be serious weakness of PSG when they face with teams that have dangerous counter attacks. Bayern Munich is one of such opponents. Pochettino have to focus more on defensive midfielders and tactics to support defenders because I think he would not succeed to require Mbappe, Neymar or Messi to do defensive tasks.

Well if what Mbappe said is true that he already informed them in July he wanted to leave, and then they said he only told them in late August, then I don't think there's already anything left to say or do. He's been upset by them, and now they're slinging mud saying Real is acting as if they already own Mbappe.

This is not going to end well, he will sign for someone else in January, and they missed out on 200 million euros.

I think that the surprising teams of this season are Lens and Nice. Lens are extremely good that they are already at the second place in the standings. They have a decent form and they were really lucky in their last game also as Reims got a red card. And we saw another victory for Lens. Considering the fact that Nice had a terrible season last and ended the season at the 9th place, they are doing awesome now. They are right behind Lens by 2 points. I wonder if this duo or at least one of them will be able to keep up their performance till the last week.

It is good to see that Lille and Monaco both are getting better week by week. Last, Lille defeated even Marseille by 2-0. And the red card eased their job too as they found the second goal after that incident. But they still showed a good performance. And Monaco defeated Bordeaux by 3-0 which was a very solid result for them. They just had the control of the match and ended their opponent.

Now, Lille and Monaco both have 14 points and have been winning for three weeks. I hope that they can continue to climb the places.

The trouble those players can cause for PSG is they don't proactively support the defense system. It is acceptable if one player has privilege to be free from defense. However, if there are three players in a team, it would be a big trouble. Pochettino have to work with them and change the tactic to fix it. Champions League will be the one to verify the defense system and tactic of PSG with three purely attacking players.

Talking about Nice, they have only played 8 games at the moment which most of the other teams have played 9 games. This means that in the near future they can occupy the second position of the Ligue 1 standings.

I agree with you because Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have only played a few match and I don't think it's bad enough for them. PSG is not bad but I hope the coach can turn those three players into a scary trio in Europe this season. I don't know why the three of them had to fail unless they were so selfish with each other.
