Galtier had been made the man to lead PSG to their champions league trophy next season.I actually thought it was going to be Zidane who will take on the job,but those rumours were far from the truth.PSG needs a man that can manage those big players at the team and blend them together to be able to produce something reasonable for the club.Neymar,Messi and Mbape are three big players at the team that can make things happen at that club if the coach is able to manage them well and reignite the winning spirit in them.
It is no doubt that the champions league is really going to be tough next season because of the transfer of different players to different clubs of their choice.It is yet to be seen whether the man they've chosen for the job will be able to deliver the team or not.

Galtier is not a manager that ever had any success at that level before. They are going with an untested manager. While everyone was expecting them to sign Zidane, they managed to get a manager that wasn't in the radars of any team. I do not know what they have seen, I do not know what the point of this is. But, I am sure that they did their testing, they did their scouting and found something in him that nobody else saw.

Let's see what they would be doing this year, if they could do that then we could be doing a lot better. Of course it will take a while before we understand how he is, because champions league is easy when in group stages for them, and out of group stages are months and months away. So we will learn how he will do in like maybe 8 months, hence it is going to stay a question mark.

Yes PSG is really only concerned with winning the Champions League. I also think that it will only be a matter of time before they win. The focus and concentration are not at all on the competition for this team. That could also have been the reason why Lille became champions 2 years ago and PSG had a dramatic season in the league. The question is more how many points ahead PSG will have at the end of the season. I think few players will leave. It is a pity that Simons is gone, that was potentially a successor for Messi.

You're right, if Neymar is not at PSG, the PSG team won't have much of a problem. I would even say that they will benefit financially. Neymar has suffered a number of injuries in the last few seasons. As a result, the PSG team had to play without Neymar. But I would be happy if Neymar stays at PSG for one more season. Because we all know the chemistry of Messi and Neymar is excellent. If Neymar does not suffer an injury next season, PSG will be able to play better in the Champions League with the help of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe.

I agree with you. PSG is only wasting money by giving wages to Neymar. Neymar's wages are much higher. But PSG should take one more risk. Since Messi will be at PSG until next season, PSG management should give Neymar another season and a chance to play with Messi. My guess is that if Messi, Neymar, and Mbapee play well and don't get injured, the PSG team will be unstoppable. At the same time, they need an experienced coach badly.

I think that the automatic renewal of Neymar's contract doesn't change anything as it doesn't pose an hindrance for him to be sold still. However I started thinking that even Chelsea might not be very willing about signing him considering his very high yearly wage. I wouldn't wait for Neymar to be okay about making much less money than he does now. I don't expect Chelsea to give his current contract too.

the rumors of them bringing in galtier to the team, as the new head coach sounds so shocken to me, cause it was far from what many of us expected, cause alot of people what's expecting zidane to be announced as their new manager. perhaps PSG problem is well cleared to us, they needed a fearless coach, a coach that can do what it takes to bring out the best of the team, a coach that's admired and respected by everybody. that's the more reason i was expecting zidane, cause he has this qualities, perhaps bringing in galtier is not bad if only he can handle the team expectedly, though we can't come to conclusion, next season will decide that.

I don't think it is going to be a big improvement for PSG. they needed someone who could impose authority over the players. not someone who could be just a substitute for who was here earlier. I have heard that  Neymar has extended his contract with PSG. so, PSG still has the same team, or at least basically the same team going into the next season as well. it will be a big disappointment if they are unable to win the champions league this time as well.

I have a little doubt that Vitinha will be able to adapt quickly to the star players at PSG in his first season, but he is still very young and it will be an advantage for PSG for him to develop even more in the future.

I thought Psg was going for Thuram initially, it seems like they pull out of the race, i would have preferred him over vitinha to be candid I might be bias though because i’m more familiar with khéphren. if renato joins i can’t see psg going for another non-defensive midfielder although there might still be a chance given verratti’s and renato’s injury history. Psg been spending huge on players unnecessary I don't think that Vitinha is worth up to that amount, that's what Arsene Wenger was trying to curb back then, big clubs been splashing huge amounts of money on players that aren't worth it

from the start neymar only wanted to stay at PSG because only PSG were able and wanted to pay neymar's salary (but there were many rumors that reported neymar wanted to move clubs). hopefully PSG will change (unlike PSG last season) lol

PSG have finally sealed the deal of bringing Christophe Galtier to the team. He's the new head coach of the Parisians and the team will definitely unveil him tomorrow. Can't wait to see him take over the managerial job from Mauricio Pochettino who failed the team for lifting the champions league.
