Most likely, Messi will leave PSG after his contract expires in 2023. even if there is encouragement from his team-mate, Neymar, to extend his contract with PSG.

Objectively yes, this is a good option to play until the very end of a career - a huge salary, a farm league with a low level of competition (title guaranteed) and star partners who can bring the Champions League title. Apparently, Messi is not very worried about being in the shadow of Mbappe and he is satisfied with his position on the field - so if everything suits him, then why change something? From Messi's point of view, to extend the contract with PSG, in my opinion, would be beneficial.

In terms of competitiveness, what you say is true, but from a financial point of view, it is clear that PSG is one of the most abundant clubs, so at least this can make him quite happy when it comes to money.
As for the current interest, which big club will take him with pleasure. At least there needs to be some salary reductions if he still wants to change clubs.

right now he is still quite comfortable and looks still mute about what will happen to him in the future.
