I can see they simply do not have any competition. Even though a few teams did give them some trouble towards the start of the season, eventually it is going to be all PSG. There is not a team that has even half the quality of players that PSG has right now.

So, it is absolutely dumb to expect any other team to win instead of PSG. Now PSG already has a benefit of six points from the team which is right below them. I don’t think that point difference is going to reduce in the future, to be honest.

PSG continue to dominate Ligue 1. They are playing very well. PSG are still unbeaten this season and have only drawn two matches. If such performance continues, PSG will undoubtedly win the title. And like the previous season, PSG will be 10-15 points ahead of the second placed team. Because PSG's three attacking players Messi, Neymar and Mbappe are all in very good form. Meanwhile, defender Ramos continued his good form. More important than Ligue 1 this season for PSG is a good performance in the Champions League. PSG's success in winning many matches cannot be separated from the good performances of the attackers and also all the players involved in every match. They have scored 43 goals with only 9 conceded, this is an absolutely superior statistic for a PSG team.

Marseille deserved this win in fact. There were some serious problems in their defense in the Monaco game. Balerdi caused a really easy penalty and he must be regretful for that. On Monaco's second goal, Marseille left a huge space in the midfield and it was too easy for Volland to score. However their having a really good day about scoring helped them very much still. Veretout's goal helped them join the game again. After that there was a really dramatic goal in the last minute thanks to Payet - Kolasinac duo. It was an incredible cross by Payet indeed.

Marseille are back in action again as it seems. This is their second win in a row. Beating teams like Lyon and Monaco will give them extra confidence surely. Maybe we have a long break now but I still expect them to be fully motivated to maintain this series. It depends on whether to have important players injured of course.

Marseille is a team, which also showed some really big promises this season. They were really close to the top of the table. But they could not perform consistently. Just like the other teams in this league, except for PSG.

The last match for Marseille is good to have a sleep-ended in a draw. Marseille had to wait till the 98th minute to make the 3 points sure. After being 2-1 down, they had to work really hard to come back in that match. At one point it honestly felt like it was going to be a draw. And towards the end, it was absolute chaos. But I thought Marseille had better control over the match compared to Monaco.

There is no club in Ligue 1 that can compete with PSG. However, there are several renowned clubs in Ligue 1 such as Lille, Lyon and Marseille. And the performance of these clubs is quite good. I'd say if they get big funds and are able to get the players they want, they can compete with PSG for the title. But PSG cannot win the title if they do not perform well. I agree with you. PSG's focus is not Ligue 1 right now. They are now fully focused on the Champions League. However, there is no reason to think that they will perform poorly in Ligue 1 matches. Ligue 1 teams are weaker than PSG. So even if PSG put in a bit of a poor performance, they won't lose the top spot in the points table. That can happen this season, they will win the Ligue 1 title that is for sure, i do not feel there is a team that can stop them from winning that one, with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe playing so good, what brings competition in a league is how strong the other clubs are, and no other club in the Ligue 1 is close to being as strong as psg, so they are surely going to win that one. The one i am not sure about is the champions league title, they have a real battle in the round of 16 versus bayern munich, if they win bayern they may get to the final, when a club succeeds against a very tough opponent it helps them to play better as they go on, so if psg manage to beat bayern, they may make it to the champions league final and win it, but winning bayern is not easy to do.

They don't even have to focus on Ligue 1 anymore. The only thing they should care about now is Bayern Munich, because if they win that game they will keep on facing great teams and first it's quarter finals then semi finals and then final and that will be a big deal but none of that matters for Ligue 1 because they are really great at ligue 1 and there is no other team in the league right now that could fight against them to win the title.

Not only they are good, they also dominate, meaning they don't "barely win" games, they win like with 4-5 goal differences when they are on their day. Which is why they are really good and would only care about UCL at this point.

PSG for Ligue 1 regardless of their focus or not the result will be the same. It's not too surprising if they rule out Ligue 1, especially since their main focus is still the Champions League which will obviously have a big game later.
Actually I expected more in the group stage but it's a shame they weren't so lucky because they had to finish as runners up and now have to face Bayern who obviously are a big club from another farmers' league.
Now it's just a matter of seeing whether they can or are only able to dominate in Ligue 1 like last season.

The competition in Ligue 1 is almost the same as the bundesliga where there is only one club that dominates in the league, so far PSG are still dominating and it looks like it will happen for the next few seasons until there is another club that is really strong financially, I totally agree with what are you saying, because no team in ligue 1 is really strong until the end of the season, some teams in ligue 1 do often provide competition but slowly they start to fall behind and as usual PSG will end the end of season at the top by leaving their rivals with big difference in points.

Even now I think that LOSC won the championship a few seasons ago and this was just luck for LOSC who played well after that but still dominated again as usual.
The initial rivalry was fair enough but neither club ultimately became consistent all the way to the end. This season I expected a lot from Marseille at the start but they have had an inconsistency at the start of the season which has left them far behind now.

What I saw in this match was a lot of Troyes players in their defensive area.
Even if we look at this match all the Troyes players are in their own defensive area helping to guard the defense and of course PSG clearly need attacks with long-range shots like that.
On the other hand Messi's kick was really really cool and I was happy to see that beautiful goal.

If in fact this is a sample of what PSG can do when they put their minds to it, but it's like you say that game was very key to see how the players took care of themselves, I liked seeing them play with caution and not risking so much, I've always said that if one of those stars gets injured it won't be the same, the World Cup would be very boring, for some teams it would be ideal not to face the best, but I believe that in a world cup only the best should face each other, in the case of League 1 , I feel that the undisputed winner will be PSG, it is something that we all see and that we are going to experience, however after the World Cup I would like to see the attitude of all the teams, because in some way they will come already very full of rest and of very good vibes.

If a team like Marseille can put up a fight in League 1 it would be phenomenal.
