It's been a long time since we heard of OGC Nice signing a new player in the transfer market and this time they have managed to reach an agreement for Atalanta's Jeremie Boga. PSG are stupid to include the term for loyalty fee but they set an unreasonable date to activate it.

PSG must sell Kylian Mbappe by August 1 or they owe him €60m as alarming contract clause revealed after €300m Al-Hilal bid.

So now we understand why PSG gave Mbappe an ultimatum till 31 July only but Mbappe is smart enough to know he won't lose anything if staying in PSG till 1 August. After that day, he will automatically get €60m from PSG and still be able to leave the club to Al Ahli.

I can not sympathize with PSG on the term, they can include the loyalty term in their contract with Mbappe but why not activate it on 30 or 31 August or 1 September? The loyalty term should be in place to make sure that the player can not move anywhere after that day and he will have to play for PSG after a closing day of summer transfer window.

You wouldn't be certain about this term as what I read from different channels varies, so I will not conclude on a certain term for now even if yours might be the actual one and it's from goal[dot]com. You are right but there is a lot of judgment based on the hypothesis that these players are healthy and play and as we found out several times in the past Neymar is frequently injured and misses lots of important games. Their attacking line isn't "weak", I agree with that for sure. But considering the whole squad they have much less quality if Mbappe also leaves. I can't see how they could win the Champions League with or without Mbappe with this team. It will be enough for Ligue 1 I guess, but that's it. I think players also feel a different motivation when they play in the Premier League. They never woke up in their lives and thought "damn I need to win Ligue 1 in my career".

This is the truth eventually.
