I didn't start betting on Monaco yet this season after my personal huge disappointment last year with them.

But 6.6x now playing vs PSG, who only depend on Mbappe, is this the right time to go in on them?

There are still 27 games left which is a total of 81 points to be played for. The maximum I found that someone ended up in the relegation zone was 40 points. It usually is around 32-35 points and there are some years when it was much less than that. But let's assume 40 points would be the safe aim to go for here.

They would need 33 more points out of the last 27 games. That is like winning 9 games and 6 draws. This doesn't sound impossible to me and they also have a lot of home games to come as well. When you look at the table at a specific moment, it could apparently look worse than it is. Though it is bad of course, but when they adjust their goal to remaining in Ligue 1, which they have probably already done, then they know what to do and see that this can be done.

Lyon is gradually becoming a relegation team and I know for sure that they won't want that for themselves, their recent games have been so poor on their side and it seems like there's a huge work to be done, they have 27 games to go and they have to secure at least 40 points to be out of the relegation zone, and I believe their coach should've been using the break to figure out how to get the team moving upwards.

 Hopefully, they'd be able to play well a bit, win some games and draw some and also avoid much losses too because every loss will affect their chance. Extra efforts and determination needs to be put to the team and they've got face the reality of the battle they've got at hand, no laziness or backwardness should be entertained too.

But I think nobody here talked to the team or how did you find out that they don't want to be in the relegation zone? Because you said that you know for sure.

40 points is an objective that would (almost) guarantee them to stay in the league as it is a threshold that I think has barely been reached in the history of the league by a team to inevitably stay in the league. But still they should better play it safe than be sorry later on.

Given that Lyon was one of the strongest French clubs in the past, their goal must be to get some restructuring going very soon. They have been more in the midfield of the table in the last few years and the last time they finished top three was in 2018/19.

This thing about starting the season pretty cool and then declining at a particular point is quite becoming a norm in football and it’s worrisom to know most of these teams have no idea on consistency, maintaining winning streaks at least is a sort of confidence booster, In the case of Brest, well they’re an average team and nothing more than this was expected, now they’re getting defeated and struggling to get at least a point out from an encounter.

This weekend they face one of their worst nightmare who over the past 3 seasons has been a hard nut to crack and i think same will repeat itself over the weekend as Montpellier will have the best moments and fun  of this encounter, I think it’s safe to put your money on Montpellier to win or draw this game.

We are talking about 1.4 odds for PSG to win the game vs 6.6 for Monaco. Only Nice - Toulouse and Lille - Metz games have higher odds of 7.6 and 10.5 respectively.

It seems so. Emery will be out this season and he will not able to play due to the ankle injury but PSG can stil have a good replacement for him. This may be a tough game for PSG soon.
1.5 is quite good consider PSG will be playing at home against monaco but i'd choosen double chance since this match is quite risky for me. It's caused by i can't even try to make sure which team that i should pick it.

The odds is very small for double chance but this is less risky for my multi bet rather than picking PSG. Mbappe may become the main reason why PSG will able to win against monaco but im not really confidence with it.
Monaco or PSG. That's the best choice to make sure mymulti will not be collapse due to the lose suffered by PSG or monaco in upcoming match.

It is such a big deal that some 17 year old kid is one of the important players of a club that is at the top of the league for so long and trying to win UCL for so long. I mean you spend so much money on players to get better, and then some player from youth setup comes up and be better than anyone at that position you could buy, that's a big deal, and he is only 17 years old as well, that's insane.

I believe that PSG will have easy time beating Monaco, 1.50 is great odds, I bet that there is nothing in the world that can give you 50% return back on your investment as easily as this, surely there is a risky, surely PSG could draw or lose, that is why it is not guaranteed free money, but that 1.50 is the odds for that, I think it is really great.  Though  Monaco are in a good form currently and could cause and upset in the game, by stealing a point or even the 3points but that doesn't change the fact that PSG are the favorites to win the game and they're even the hosting team which gives them more advantage over Monaco, also they're going to miss their midfielder Zaire Emery cause he's an important player for the team, but facing Monaco without him wouldn't be a very big issues cause they still Fabian Ruiz who is a suitable replacement for Emery.

The reason I mentioned that the match may be tough for PSG to win is that Warren Zaire-emery, PSG's youngest midfield player, will not be available due to an injury took during an international game. Despite this, there is still a good chance for PSG to win because the three points are important for them to obtain; if they lose to Monaco, Nice will surpass them because Nice will not be up against tough opponents. It is the first season but I am sure that every coach who accept a position at PSG knows that the challenge is to win the Champions League. Luis Enrique won the Champions League with Barcelona and the La Liga title against Real Madrid, which is the fiercest rival of them all. Then what is the challenge for a coach like Luis Enrique with the experience and the achievements he has to win Ligue 1 with PSG? Can that even be called a challenge?

I think he went there for two reasons. The first reason was the money and Enrique would go anywhere for money. The second reason is that he hopes to be the coach who brings PSG the Champions League as this would set him apart from all others who failed trying it.

PSG can't defeat Monaco for 3 head-to-head matches by the way. Of course those are matches in the past but I believe they still matter. Because having an advantage psychologically can be really important for a team. That team can even maintain this advantage for like many more years. But when it comes to Monaco I doubt they will be able to do just like that. Because maybe PSG can be full of surprises this season. But they are still the strongest team now as well on paper.

Moreover now PSG have a really good series of wins in the league. Maybe this series would also be a big morale to defeat Monaco and put an end to this streak between them.
