Do you know that Lyon finally got their second win in the match against Touluse? Lyon even won in a landslide with a score of 3-0 without reply. In a game which Mbappe were really ineffective PSG won against Nantes in Parc des Princes anyway. The first half was completely one-sided before anything else. PSG have won 8 games in a row in the Ligue 1 so far and they haven't been losing for 10 games. These are really impressive statistics but they are the kind of statistics PSG should already have of course. Because there is an insane gap between PSG and the rest of the teams in the league. I don't expect the champion to change this season either.

However I don't expect much success from PSG when it comes to the Champions League. Because they haven't been able to show the same ambition there. The amount of points they have collected so far is not so many and they might even be out of the tournament in the group stage.

It could be the problem that the jump in quality is too big to handle for PSG going from Ligue 1 to Champions League. A team like Manchester City has a top game almost every week, which means they are used to having tough games all the time. PSG is hardly challenged in their domestic league and may be less ready for the big fights when they are taking place. I think for good teams coming from weaker leagues it is harder to get that switch done successfully.

Psg made big changes to their squad last season and it took a process for them to come together to become stronger when they faced teams from other leagues in the champions league. In the Champions League, PSG is still struggling to qualify for the round of 16 and their hope is in the last match when they face Dortmund. In the domestic league Psg is very strong but in the champions league they have to work hard because this season Psg are in the most difficult group in the champions league. I think if you compare with Manchester United, maybe PSG is better than them, but still the best are those who are champions.

Luis Enrique must be able to bring PSG to win the last match at home to Dortmund. A difficult job for PSG in the last match considering that Dortmund is the strongest team in Group F for the time being. I think if PSG loses then the chance to qualify for the last 16 will go to Newcastle United or AC Milan. I've said this before, that one of their problems is their lack of goal scoring. Their defense is very solid and it is evident that they have only conceded 6 goals in 15 appearances so far this season. Conversely, they've only scored 16 goals, meaning they're averaging 1.06 goals per game. In my opinion, it is something that cannot lead them to be able to compete strictly for the championship. Because when they do not concede goals, but they cannot create goals, it is a result that makes them unable to win 3 points. Actually, sooner or later PSG will remain in its position because of their dominance with the power of money they have, surely they will still be able to be in the top position because indeed their money power is much greater which can make their dominance maintained. Paris Saint-Germain, are currently on the right track in the Ligue 1 competition. of their last 8 matches, they swept clean with wins. For several weeks, PSG has been at the top of the Ligue 1 standings. So I think PSG not only has a chance to win a trophy this season, but their probability of retaining the Ligue 1 title is still very high compared to other teams. Lyon in a poor position doesn't mean they'll be there until the end of the season, I really enjoyed the game they played even if it wasn't up to a good standard like they did few years ago. Former Arsenal and French striker was able to score three goals in that game leading his squad as the captain well. There should be improvements after this game in league one. They should not be stagnant because massive improvement follows after this game. He has finally moved his goal tally to six goals.

Per Emerick Aubameyang also impressed. I'm excited to see Gattuso doing well, they now moved to six position. Per Emerick Aubameyang should also score in the Europa League Competition ahead. He has scored more than nine goals for Marseille. I'm not forgetting he flopped with Chelsea last season.

I am not against any scenario where we can see one team from Ligue 1 compete with PSG when there are like 6-7 games left of the season, but how likely is it really. It usually won't happen and if it does, it means that PSG must have failed so hard that the whole league wasn't fun at all.
