In history, as far as I know, Nice best place is only in 3rd place and that was in the season about a decade ago and when compared, Monaco will be superior. Monaco has had experience of being at the top of the standings and in terms of player depth, it is more consistent than Nice, which luckily, they can look very stable when they are at the top of the standings, but actually Nice will eventually lose its consistency and it has been proven that currently Nice is below PSG and just above Monaco.

Nice won't be able to compete for the title. They are not second at the moment because they are so overwhelmingly strong and nobody could stop them. They are second because many of the games they played were finished with a happy ending for them. They are living on the edge with their one goal per game and then the (so far) impressive defensive performance. But this won't go on for the full 38 games.

The biggest issue I see is that I have no idea who could stop PSG in the league. But this is not only for one game, but for several games. It can't be expected that Nice finishes the season with 90 points. So whenever PSG loses points, Nice have to win them and I don't think they can have such a great level of consistency.

Nice must improving their attacking line because top 2nd Ligue 1 standings team scored fewest goals, ration one goals on every match its not really impressive attacking line for Nice with 15 scored 16 goals. But have good and solid with defense conceded 6 goals and Nice is the most fewest conceded goals in Ligue 1 than top standings team PSG have conceded 12 goals. If keep consistent performance is not huge problem for Nice become most fewest conceded goals in Ligue 1 but I think they should improving with attacking line how possibility win more than two goals on every match.

Probably, PSG is favorite team for winning Ligue 1 tittle every season but Nice can be competitor team pressure PSG position on the top standing and waiting PSG got loss and replace for the first place. However not easily waiting PSG loss their points indeed Nice need on the consistent performance and not loss points again on upcoming match.
