I have realized that I really missed the great competition between multiple big teams in the league. Now, we can see that Chelsea are leading with 13 points. Liverpool and Manchester United are following them right behind with the same points. Brighton are one of the surprising teams so far as they have 4 wins and 1 loss. Manchester City are a little inconsistent these days and they are following the leader being 3 points behind.

I hope to see this great competition till the end of the season. I don't want to see only Manchester City dominating the league anymore.

I think this year maybe manchester city will get tough competition, chelsea and liverpol can stop menchester city from getting champions, under coach thomas tuchel, chelsea are playing very well, even this year chelsea have signed romelu Lukaku from inter milan, to add attacking power on their front line, although liverpol did not buy star players, other teams must be careful because liferpol played very well at the beginning of the season, and were unbeaten, only drew once, against chelsea..

Chelsea were already the close side to win the game against Tottenham before even the game started. It was nice to watch the first half as there was a big competition between these teams. However, everything started to be for the benefit of Chelsea in the other half. They started taking the control little by little. And after the goals they scored in a short time, Tottenham were in a desperate condition. They were having a big difficulty in even creating a goal chance. They got only 2 shots in the whole half. Chelsea finished them by 3-0 and got a comfortable win. But things would have been more interesting if Tottenham managed to score first in the first half.

Arsenal and Spurs I think it's equal in terms of performances it's just that Arsenal still have to fight for some goals because in recent times only a few goals have been produced even the rest have lost, for me this will still be a threat for Arteta who must be hired to win so this will be less relief for him then if he loses maybe it's the last decision and will make him bad.

At the moment Arsenal are still struggling to continue to get points, but indeed when you meet a strong team it will be a matter of doubt whether to win or not because what we know is that Arteta does not have more ability to face big teams.

Chelsea and Liverpool passed with 3 goals. They scored 3 points with 3 goals. Arsenal took 3 points with 1 goal, although it was difficult. In the standings, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United share the first place with 13 points. This year will be an exciting season. Manchester City is trailing behind with 10 points. The league has just started, anything can happen.

At least this season is not "one team show" and all the others chasing the rest places. Man City needs not to lose points from matches that could have won, because it will miss the train even if it's early...

We cannot tell if it's a "one team show" after just five games. What I currently like is it seems order has been restored in the Premier league when you see these big teams dominating the top table. Brighton is an exception hehe. I don't expect them to remain fourth after another five games.

Tottenham played good for the 1st half and surprised me. They had a very intense pressing which lasted for the 1st half but they could not sustain it in the 2nd half. Chelsea brought on Kante and moved to a 3 midfield which I think was the tactical change that changed the game for Chelsea. Kante with his dynamic and constant running was running circles around a already tired Tottenham midfield. Chelsea only had to dominate around 15 minutes of the 2nd half to get 2 goals while Tottenham did not get close to scoring for the entire 45 minutes that they were on top of the game.

This season's start is not good for Tottenham specially after Kane saga to Manchester City even they won against defending champion in first but in last 2 matches they were completely outclassed now its good time to think about their future because if they lost some more than surely they are going out of Europe for next season.
 
In last game against Chelsea they play very good in first half but in second Chelsea completely dominant side, and they're done very good job with 3 goals which is class from them and signal for rival titles as they can thrash any team on any ground.

Actually, I'm thinking the same for Manchester United also as Chelsea and Liverpool. After Ronaldo has joined the team, they are performing much better than before. And Ronaldo is also contributing to the team really a lot. If they keep up the good work, they will also be in the title race.

I didn't think that Tottenham would be able to lose quite heavily in that match, even though if we look at the composition of the two teams, it was quite balanced, but in that match Chelsea appeared very dominant with 53 percent ball possession and made 20 attempts, 10 of which led to the goal, in my opinion, in that match tottenham who acted as the host actually could not take advantage of the game situation well so they were only able to shoot 8 times and 2 of them were on target and clear compared to the previous tottenham matches, the statistics in that match are the worst in my opinion.

Losing 2 times in a row in the last 5 match is an unpleasant thing for Tottenham. They started a perfect season with 3 wins in a row but unfortunately their 4th & 5th match had to lose. That's the great thing about the Premier League, there's no chance for a top team to relax even if the opponent looks weak. Just look at Brighton, they are not a top team but managed to rank 4th in the standings one level above Manchester City. But it's true, they are not the favorite team to win the title this season.

Yeah I guess thats what matters the most but its looking pretty bad for Arsenal though by only scoring 1 goal against two teams that currently stays at the bottom of the table. I was kinda expecting more from them because Arsenal should have that sheer of motivation to win and score especially after they've lost 3 games in a row

IMO, Both team are not in their top form right now but Arsenal is way worse compared to Tottenham

Actually, I'm thinking the same for Manchester United also as Chelsea and Liverpool. After Ronaldo has joined the team, they are performing much better than before. And Ronaldo is also contributing to the team really a lot. If they keep up the good work, they will also be in the title race.

I don't think Manchester United's game has improved since Ronaldo joined Manchester United. I think their team's overall performance has been weaker. Their match plan is becoming Ronaldo-centric. In the last two matches, I have not seen any better gameplay from Bruno and Pogba. Manchester United is very lucky so they have won against West Ham. On the other hand, their performance against the Young Boys was very poor.

I must indicate that I totally enjoyed the game between Tottenham and Chelsea yesterday. In the first half, Tottenham were also able to compete with Chelsea and they found important chances. But Chelsea stayed strong against them. In the second half, everything changed. Chelsea dominated the whole half from the start to the end. And they scored 2 goals in only 8 minutes. This caused Tottenham to be out-of-morale and they were not fighting anymore. Chelsea took the full control of the game and attacked for the third goal which came in the last minutes. Lukaku were so eager to score especially in the last 15 minutes but he couldn't this time. It was an easy 3-0 victory.

True that. It was really an interesting game. I loved how Tottenham fought hard against Chelsea in the first half even though they gave the second half away by giving Chelsea way too much space to dominate them. Talking about Chelsea, I'm beginning to feel they would most likely win this season's title. The way they're just smashing teams is a matter for concern Tottenham was very lucky in the second half. It could've been a lot worse ~ either 0-5 or 0-6. It would be a problem if Chelsea keeps up with this level of performance.

Tottenham should be thankful that they didn't concede more than three goals against Chelsea yesterday. Because Chelsea were playing like they had no opponent in the field in the second half. Tottenham gave up on the game too easily. Son and Kane were in the game also but they had also nothing else to do as the team were in a bad shape.

You could say Brighton is the team that gave a surprise this season but it's true that against Brighton, so far there are not really strong teams but for the next few weeks I think it will be different because there are several opponents who can be called mainstay teams such as City, Liverpool and even arsenal even though now their position is still below but when viewed from the depth of the squad and experience, of course it can be called a strong team when compared to brighton.
but i commend brighton at least for these first 5 matches where they only lost once and the rest won.

The problem that arises with teams such as Brighton Albion is once they just get to be beaten once then their mentality changes from being winners to the next team will likely also beat us and true to their thoughts they will be beat...instead of finding ways on how to keep winning or if they lost find a way to fix the problem that lead to them losing their previous match.

And I agree with you, every season we have these teams that emerge to challenge the top teams and we have seen one go all the way and win, yes am talking about Leicester but the current small teams we have wouldn't reach this level of winning the Epl.

Tottenham are sometimes always inconsistent with previous wins but now that they have suffered successive defeats of course this will be bad because Tottenham will be left behind in terms of points, even in the premier league there is no relaxed word where all clubs must try to keep getting points from every game, if you lose then it will be left behind I see the competition will be tight and the points will not be too far from the other team because they will keep trying.
But that's the main league even weak teams like Brighton can survive in the top 4 until now it means they are strong.

Brighton are one of the clubs that have surprised me a lot. They have won four of their five league matches so far. And they defeated a really tough opponent like Leicester last week with a 2-1 score. Maybe they won't be able to keep this performance up till the end but they can finish the season at a decent position I think.

They lack a goalscorer and proper defense unit which is what making them struggle in the PL race. They have good midfield now and the next thing to do is to make their defence and get a goalscorer is what I think. Given the amount they spent this transfer window I expect them to at least maybe do better than 10th or 11 th finish.

Yeah totally agree. It would be a real challenge for defence to hold Kane and Son.

At first many people thought Brentford could follow Leicester City especially when they beat Arsenal at the start unfortunately their performance is not stable but still worth the wait. So far, no promoted team has the potential to follow Leicester's lead, Brentford  I think has a target to stay in the EPL next season nothing more.
while Leeds United have the potential to be relegated.
