Chelsea just failed the test today, they had a chance to show how good they are this season, but this match showed how hard it is keep up with the big teams with all respect to others, they sure did play well and won against them but today against Man City they couldn't find a way to reach their goalkeeper, Man City brutaly dominated the match leaving Chelsea with no shots on goal, if Chelsea want to win the premiere league they should know how to play and win against big teams.

Well, I actually thought otherwise, but just looking at their team performance today, I no longer believe in Manchester United's ability to challenge for major trophies this season, I wouldn't be surprised if OGS gets fired very soon as I don't think he is the right man for the job, the United board have given him quite a lot of quality players at his disposal and as such it's now his duty to deliver, and use them to win trophies for the club, but that looks far from happening.
Slowly, power is shifting from the red half of Manchester to the blue side, I know it's impossible to compare the history of United to that of City, but if things continue like this, City will be the reigning club in Manchester based on present performances, and United would only be able to look back in time to get themselves some bragging rights, United needs another major trophy sooner rather than later.

At least the chances of a title in the Premier League should still remain for a long time   That's the beauty of the round-robin system in the Premier League, that the chances remain for a long time, unlike the cup system, so you should not rush to conclusions unnecessarily yet. Oh, yes, this season the club's management will demand something more tangible in the form of titles than trampling on the approaches. i admit that manchester city plays better and chelsea biggest mistake is to let them play the whole their game in the first half and slow to respond it , if only chelsea play the way they responded after the goal then im pretty sure it suppossed to be a draw at least.

well, he has changed the strategy in the 2nd round but the city is playing very well, The Pep strategy is going very Impresived, the team has enough chance to create many goals,  even though only Grealish is a player who can't take advantage of opportunities. Gabriel who created a score and playing Impressive deserves as a man of the match. I'm not surprised, City will playing well when against strong clubs.

It's not always easy when it comes to playing against top tier teams like City. Any small lapses will be fully taken advantage of. Contrary to what a lot of people said, I think that match was closely contested and City was just lucky to have gotten that goal off a deflection. It's a game, one person had to lose and it was Chelsea. Tuchel already proved himself by beating City on the biggest stage and hit them right where it hurt (taking away their chance of first ever UCL title).

Three positive points from the win of Man Citybover Chelsea today as in terms of importance for Pep team.
1- He beat one of his direct competitors in his stadium and between his fans, with a clean sheet.
2- it has restored Guardiola's consideration after 3 consecutive losses against Tuchel.
3- they benefited from United's draw and returned strongly to the advanced positions.

@Shasha80 I’m not at all surprised by this result and I said it in the opening day win too that Manchester United squad is not playing well, and Ole needs to get his tactics right. Also Ole is wasting many player’s last year it was Van De Beek, and this year it’s Sancho, it’s clear he’s biased because he continues playing Lingard, McFred over others and that’s hurting the team hence #OleOut is justified.

I watched the match between Aston Villa and Manchester United, but I was surprised to see that the only chance they had to tie the match, was not charged by CR7, in fact, there was a very good peculiarity that I liked, because the popular Aston Villa goalkeeper , the Argentine pointed out that why didn't CR7 load it? and in verbatim Argentine words he said: "Hey Cris, por qué no venís a cobrarlo? traduction: Hey Cristiano, why don't you do it?

A day of total disappointment. My favorite team lost, the money bag won against a direct competitor (and whose team I sympathize with), plus another competitor of the money bag drew with a weak team. The only consolation is that at least I did not place bets on these matches, although, for example, I was 90% confident in Liverpool's victory.

The 6th game of the season was full of surprises. The big favorite teams didn't play as expected. Even though they didn't play too badly but that's not what we want. Well, that's how football is, anything can happen and there will always be surprises that make us wonder.

Maybe there will be another surprise where Brighton will be at the top of the standings. If they can win against Crystal Palace then they will get 15 points and they will sit in 1st place above Liverpool, City, Chelsea, and Man United.

Apparently the Aston Villa Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez advised Bruno Fernandez not to take the penalty but rather give Cristiano Ronaldo Mr Ballon Dor to take it but did not take the advise. I guess it was at this point his psychology was played with....

No, I don't think that's true. A poor performance reflects badly on the player, he would be damaging his own reputation by doing that... especially if people thought he did it on purpose.

That's quite impressive. Surely that will have played on Fernandez's mind... knowing that the most famous penalty-taker in the world, who never misses, is standing there watching you, and you are taking the kick instead of him. Add this to the pressure of knowing this is likely United's last chance to salvage something from the game... it could well have had an effect.

Yesterday matches were tough one, even big clubs drew or lost to small clubs. After Aston Villa surprised people by wining Manchester United, Liverpool still drew with Brentford.

No, I don't think that's true. A poor performance reflects badly on the player, he would be damaging his own reputation by doing that... especially if people thought he did it on purpose.

I too will say that is untrue, penalty is the easiest goal to score by football players but it is still the easiest goal to miss, out of many penalty played, many were scored while few were lost. I do always check the odds for penalties on the betting sites I am using, it is always around 1.2 to 1.3 odds, that means the chances of not scoring it is not that high if compared to the chances of scoring it but still also indicate that the chances of scoring penalties is not that low, also irrespective of how good a player is, he can lose a penalty.

Chelsea - Manchester City was just a one-sided game that Manchester City dominated very highly in general. I had hopes about Chelsea but they couldn't do much when it comes to attacking. But it was nice to see them still staying strong against a this dominant City and the score was still 1-0 at the end. I don't think that their performance will go down in the next games. I guess that Tuchel already prepared their players for a lose also.

we have to positive thinking, maybe Ronaldo gave a chance for Bruno, he is a friend of Ronaldo on Portugal and still young to replace him either. when I read on media and Twitter, fans still blaming Bruno which shouldn't be the Executor.

but, when we look at the score, I will also blame Bruno, why must he? where experience is needed for a situation, which only Ronaldo can be solving. I know what the players feel since Ronaldo come back to Old Trafford all eye only for him, maybe there is some jealousy between players. but it's not the point, what important thing is how to make MU the champion of the premier league for this session with a cohesiveness team.
