A satisfying result for Manchester city and a stage for Haaland to show his quality, Haaland 2 goals against West Ham can heal the wound after they lost in the Community Shield. Manchester city is very dominant in this match, the quality of the team led by Guardiola is very far above West Ham. Guardiola managed to make Manchester City a nightmare for West Ham. Haaland must always maintain his form in attack Manchester City, he is like a kid who has just returned from being away for a while, I really enjoy the way he plays.

Haaland is a fast player and that is a great advantage for a striker like him. His first goal was a penalty, it motivated him to get his second but unfortunately he missed with a header that bounced over the net. He's still not perfect and I think he still has to adapt to Guardiola's schemes and strategies. I see Haaland as potentially top goalscorer in the Premier League, but Nunez will definitely be competing for it.

So overall Manchester City were very dominant in the match against West Ham where they managed to create a lot of chances despite only scoring 2 goals. West Ham tried to equalize by scoring one goal, but until the game was over they did not score. This positive trend must be maintained by Manchester City, next week they will be against Bournemouth.

What exactly are you talking about, i can't really understand some of the things you've written. Manchester United didn't change too much from last season, if you take a closer look at their squad, you'd understand that they have just made a couple of new signings and changed their manager, but most of the players from last season are still present in the squad; after their horrendous performances for the most part of last season, i expected an overhaul of this team, but there was nothing doing from the board, thus i wonder why quite a lot of people are having high expectations about them this season.

Having said that, i think it is better as Manchester United lost so Erik can see how big a problem he has on his hands. By the way, big teams win more often than not, but not all the time, Liverpool didn't win this weekend too.

Let's not forget that last season Brighton was in the top 4 at the start of the season and it looks like they are also eyeing that now to strengthen their nickname as the Underdogs.
Even though I still felt that at first, MU was very superior, but in this case the Ten Hag Experiment really failed with the scheme they were running.
There should be some improvement there especially in terms of their attack and defense.

It's not a huge surprise that Man.united lost because some players from the squad simply have no chemistry between them and some don't even want to have when they are in the pitch and from here , the entire game of the team will suffer. Even if it was the first game , they basically didn't score at all and they barely had any great chances...so I'm super skeptical again on Man.United season.

Wonderdul through pass from Kevin Debrune. Perfect finish by HAALAND, I see him doing very well for City. The same West ham being trashed here at home by Manchester City will trash the other Manchester in and out with their disunited team made up of Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Mctominay, Rashford and even Martial that was only good for the bench at Sevilla while on loan. Quite funny that When teams are buying strikers, Chelsea are busy loading their team with defenders and midfielders. Haaland might be the highest goal scorer in epl this season.

Kevin De Bruyne has proved that he is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. And we see his amazing performance in almost every match. On the other hand, Haaland got a goal in the first match. If he can fit in well with the midfielders, he can be the top goalscorer in the Premier League. Manchester City's midfield is very strong. And Guardiola will put Haaland at the center of his match strategy this season. So Haaland will get a chance to score a lot of goals.

Top notch quality player, those top class passes he showed since he was at Wolfsburg. You need no one to explain to you how brilliant and his high intelligent quotient of and on the ball.

Seriously Manchester United need to make some replacements and sign new players before the transfer window closes. The manager must have seen their lapses today from the match. The management should allow him to make new signings before it’s too late for them. This is just the beginning of the season and they have a long way to go.

Maguire do have his own lapses but the fault should be on the whole team and not him. The collective effort of a team makes them prevail amongst all obstacles. They win and lose together.

Sensational start from Erling Haaland. He made penalty after İlkay Gündoğan's great assist and scored that. He ran right and Kevin de Bruyne made an assist for him in his second goal. I can tell already he's adapted to his new team. That's why Manchester City is the favorite contender again. They found the missing piece. This might be a sign of Champions League championship as well. If they do a treble this season I won't be surprised.

Manchester United lost to Brighton, it never surprised me because actually they really couldn't score in this match. I agree with your assumption they suck and this is probably going to be a worse season for them than last season. They should have bought some top players, but until the league starts they can't convince any top players to help them this season.

Today I was amazed by the result that Manchester City achieved, it was a big win for the reigning champions. Haaland proved he really deserves to be in the first team with his two goals today, ahaa, he's not as bad as some haters say. Hopefully they change their assumptions after this.

Haaland is just a goal machine, what a guy!  In the first Premiere League game he scored two goals (even if one goal was a penalty). The boy will become a legend in the PL and break all records together with Pep, I tell you today about that and remember my words. Ronaldo doesn't always like if having to sit on the bench and watch their match, when Manchester United lost 0-2 Ronaldo join on the second half. The whole team is not doing their best to win this match, the burden of this team does't have to be shown to the star players, I wouldn't worry if there was another strategy change from Ten Hag maybe the beginning this season match a bit wrong.

There are no such things as match fixing at all. and also its just a game, the first match of the season too. It doesn't mean the season would be a bad one. Brighton worked and deserved their win away at old trafford. Manchester united have problems lingering from last season, lack of urgency and not clinical enough in front of goal

CR7 literally ruined his career the moment he left Real Madrid. Jumping from a team to another, let the previous team been stronger and his new team look weaker unfortunately for him. His big salary participated on that BTW and let almost all clubs refusing to sign him which is very embarrassing for a big player like him.
For ManU, that was an epic fail and they for sure need to recruit a midfielder. Rashford wasn't in his day, Fernandes missed a very good opportunity also and dunno why Maguire is still in the starting eleven! Even the goal scored was a misunderstanding between the goalkeeper and his teammate..

It isn't surprising to see Man United lose, but I am very surprised to see Man United starting lineups. I don't know what Erik ten Hag thinks of Man United starting lineups, he put Varane and Ronaldo on the bench but put Maguire on the starting lineups. This makes Man United defense becomes very weak as Maguire never performed well and Martinez still needs time to adapt to Man United other players. While the attacking line of Man United, has no pure center forward. So, Man United attacking line has no power without a CF like Ronaldo. In my opinion, one of the reasons why Man United lost in this match is the wrong lineups used by Ten Hag.

That's you actually, not believing they @Manchester United could lose and the thing about sports or gambling is that, your predictions doenst often play out. Should you have placed a bet on that, you just lost!
Of a truth, Manchester United haven't been I form from last season and the structure of there team is a mess, Brighton Hove Albion though an average team is still a very good team and capable of siing what they just did to a tea without form like Manchester United.
There could be fixed matches but certainly, it isn't this one. I dont think Manchester United is the tea that would go about fixing matches as they very much need every point they could get from the start of the league and see if thy could carry on.

That is true, small league matches can be fixed, but not like big league matches like EPL.

Brighton worked hard but Manchester United also performance was not good, although the performance is not bad but we expected more, they dominated the match and also made many attempts to score, but Brighton just led ahead with one goal to make 3 points.
