I see some people who are still staying positive about the possibility of Liverpool to become the champions. But it doesn't seem any realistic to me at all. Because their performance so far has been quite inconsistent and it has caused them to get far away from the leader. There is already a gap like 15 points now. It is possible mathematically but it doesn't seem like that from a logical point of view. There are two big contenders for the league title now. They are Arsenal and Manchester City.

Even if one of these contenders start playing badly and getting bad results the other one would be motivated to take advantage of the situation. Hence it would still be too hard for Liverpool to catch up with the leader. Klopp should just focus on maintaining a long-running winning streak to get into a strong shape again.

Lol it will take a miracle for Liverpool to end up as league champions this season. Their slow start to the season has been detrimental to their success this season, Manchester city and Arsenal have quite a huge gap from Liverpool and it will not be easy at all to close up this gap. Liverpool are nowhere close to been champions this season they can only battle for the top four spot.

Liverpool has 22 points and being realistic with this current team they don't have much chance of finishing in the 4th position, I sincerely doubt that even with changes in the team they won't be able to finish in the 4th position because there are many strong teams this season, the difference this season is that newcastle is strong and also tottenham is performing well this season, adding the fact that arsenal is very strong and at the top of the table then makes liverpool have to try hard to occupy position 4 or superior, there is manchester united that also improve can be another obstacle for liverpool

I don't think, Manchester city will allow Liverpool to defeat them again because that opportunity will not be there for them to achieve victory from the match. Liverpool defeated Manchester city by luck last match doesn't mean they will defeat them again, because many small teams has defeated Liverpool in this premier league competition and other competitions that made Manchester city the strongest team in this season because they never allow small teams to defeat them. I think, there are some signs in this FIFA world cup competition that is going on, to Show that Manchester city will make a massive change after the break to takeover the first position in premiere league table from Arsenal.

The 4th place team in the standings I think they are a strong title contender this season. although the distance in points from 1st place to 4th place is 8 points difference but that is not one of the reasons they are not included in the title contender team. because something could have happened if Arsenal were not able to maintain their good trend in the second half of the season. apart from that manchester city is still the favorite team to win the title this season because they have the mentality to shift arsenal in rank 1. newcastle united maybe they are not too focused on getting into the ranks of title contenders but they will keep trying in every upcoming match to perform better than what  what they have achieved so far. for Tottenham this is a difficult road for them to continue to perform well like in the first half of the season because their star harry kane who has been rumored to be leaving tottenham in this winter window and if this happens they are really messed up in the second half of the season  .

In terms of competition, yes, we agree that the Premier League interests us more. because only this competition is truly competitive, compared to other leagues which are always dominated by only 1-2 clubs. once the league is rolled back, the competition will be even more intense.

This was a tough match, even though at the first meeting Liverpool were able to win with one goal from Salah but it was very difficult, even the tendency for Liverpool to lose at that time, but they have to be optimistic that they can get good results in the match later and hopefully some of the players who play in The World Cup has returned to defend clubs without obstacles

The standings are still very likely to change because the league is still very long. Arsenal and Manchester City are currently the strongest title contenders this season, so we will really see how good their rivalry will be in the second half of the season. It is doubtful that Arsenal will continue to lead the Premier League standings, that is because Manchester City are very close to them. I tend to believe Manchester City won't have any major problems competing with Arsenal, they will stand a better chance when they take the lead.
