Manchester United is suffering in the hands of Newcastle United tonight. It is not a surprise to me because I anticipated it. Manchester United actually needs a very notable thing to happen to their team bofore they can start playing good football. Something like;

• Sacking of the coach  

• Buying of new players

• Selling of old players

I would definitely agree with some of your points, and the first that should be done is the sale of the club. The Glazers no matter the amount of money they spend do not seem welcome by United fans and this will create a negative atmosphere in the club. Should a new owner with big check book comes now then he can think of a new strategy on how to get the team to improve by releasing underperforming coach and players.

One thing stands out, United are not the club  they used to be since Ferguson left. The best thing they should have done and yet to do is reducing the amount of expectations on the club and sign a coach or back this current manager because they have switch lots of them. The team project should be rebuilding from scratch with the fan’s lowering there own expectations this way the rebuild can be done. Recycling old players for quick success is not a good option at all. They need to rebuild from scratch

Honestly, this Manchester United team literally have no direction on how they are playing. They look clueless. I’m beginning to think that Ten Hag isn’t the right man for the job. I think some of your points are very valid, but turning a club around to regain its former glory is never that easy. Manchester United had to come up with a better long-term plan to be able to compete and regain glory, but once again they still failed to do so. Manchester United are under a lot of pressure to get him, in fact I'm really sure they won't be able to do it even if they sell the club to another owner.

Weldone, I also agree with you that regaining the lost glory of a club is always a long term plan, just like what is happening to Chelsea football club. But Manchester United has actually spent much time since after Alex Faguson left the club. Coming back to glory is always a long term plan and Manchester United should be able to start it.

I admit, some of your points might help the club to grow better. But a change in management and a change for the better is certainly more desirable instead of selling all the old players and replacing them with new players.

This is so true. Chelsea tried it and failed. They sold all their old players and bought new ones and it didn't go well with them. Although they changed management before changing all the players.

The game between Arsenal and WestHam have ended and it ended in favour of WestHam as they flogged Arsenal 3:0 at home.After watching this game,I begin to see Arsenal's weakness,and conclude that they cannot beat a strong side at the moment.They will be facing Newcastle over the weekend,and that is really going to be a tough match for them because Newcastle knows how to play Arsenal,they know that Arsenal are good and knows how to capitalise on their weak area which is the Zinchenko's wing.

Hmm... have you completely come to terms with the fact that United is a team from the middle/basement of the standings and even such upstarts (even with prospects) like Newcastle should butcher United? United's weakest line is Ten Hag himself  He bought 1.5 squads at his own request (and it is suspected that there was a certain amount of corruption/conflict of interest there) and justifying the terrible results by the fact that they didn’t buy someone for him are just excuses. Each coach works with what he has - there are always unexpected injuries, transfers (sometimes to prison haha) but the team does not consist of 11 people and not from one scheme. A qualified coach constantly adapts to circumstances. Under Ten Hag's leadership, the players are deteriorating and the club has a toxic atmosphere.

Manchester United conceded 6 goals in two matches, the first by Manchester City in the Premier League and in today match by Newcastle United. I don't understand who is to blame in a situation like this and most likely this is the fault of their coach who was unable to improve the team performance after losing the previous match. Yes, maybe this is the worst period for Erik Ten Hag because in the last two matches, Manchester United were embarrassed in front of their supporters.

The way coaches approach games is annoying, talking about Arteta, although some coaches do it too. Is the Gunners boss going to tell me that he lost the game he was suppose to win because he has a bigger game ahead of him? Newcastle? This arsenal game tonight is just something else because the scoreline is beyond my expectations even though it's a cup game, I never actually expected arsenal to lose to such big margin. The game is currently 3-0 to West ham united and the scoreline is really shocking owing to the brilliant performance that this gunners team has portrayed in the premier league matches they have played.

As for the Manchester united game tonight, I don't expect anything special because this team is really annoying with their performance and I don't think they can cope on a normal circumstance with this Newcastle team because these guys are really red hot but since it's a league match maybe Manchester united can surprise just as the scoreline for arsenal game is also shocking.

I don't know, this cannot be explained when Manchester United suffered another defeat this is their 2nd defeat at home in a row in different competitions, we don't know whether management will consider it for some reason or will immediately fire it and what is clear is that this embarrassing defeat is certainly a concern for management. In fact, we understand the condition of Manchester United which is experiencing many player injuries but the management and fans certainly don't want to hear any excuses they just want Manchester United to always win in any competition, let's wait and see what their decision is this week whether to continue or fire him.

A strong start doesn't guarantee a strong finish. In previous seasons, Newcastle even led the league early on with an impressive winning streak, and their performance was solid. But in the end, it was Man City who emerged as the champions.

However, Man United current case is different. They fall into 8th place, it rarely happened with Man United. Ideally, Man United is among the top 5 in EPL table. I won't compare the case of Newcastle with Man United, Man United actually has more complicated problems. It is not only about the coach but some players also have bad issues. With this situation, I never expect Man United to dream for a champion. The champion race is only for Man City, Tottenham, and Arsenal.

Statistically, Man United has been better than Chelsea in recent games. However, overall, I believe Man United needs more improvement compared to Chelsea. What's holding Man United back is the current state of the club. Even if they intend to sign expensive players or change a famous coach, I don't think it will bring significant changes to the team's performance.

Of course, that's why Man United position is higher than Chelsea. But Man United actually experience the same thing, they have many good players but they can't perform as expected. It is what Chelsea experienced in the last few seasons. So, I see no big differences between Man United and Chelsea if we analyze it from the main problem.
