The game is currently 2-0 in favour of Newcastle United, as almiron put a beautiful goal against United. Though I believe the goal was a defensive error from United defence, as almiron took on Dallot on the run move towards the 18 yard box, before onana could rush towards almiron, he had to use his left foot to flip the ball pass onana.
The second goal as well, is a defensive error, This first half is devastating for united.

I didn’t expect anything less than Newcastle. They’re currently winning the game with two scored just in the first half. They had made good use of their opportunities as well.
Sadly, I didn’t think  Manchester United would have be able to win this game despite wanting them to do so. Right now, Newcastle is in better form and it’s evident on the scoreline. 

It’s half time now. Who knows what the second half has in store for us. Can Manchester United make a comeback and perhaps win or draw the game like Arsenal did with Chelsea?

• Sacking of the coach  

• Buying of new players

• Selling of old players

Without some of the above happening, it will be difficult for Manchester United to return to glory.

I think some of your points are very valid, but turning a club around to regain its former glory is never that easy. Manchester United had to come up with a better long-term plan to be able to compete and regain glory, but once again they still failed to do so. Manchester United are under a lot of pressure to get him, in fact I'm really sure they won't be able to do it even if they sell the club to another owner.

I admit, some of your points might help the club to grow better. But a change in management and a change for the better is certainly more desirable instead of selling all the old players and replacing them with new players.

This arsenal game tonight is just something else because the scoreline is beyond my expectations even though it's a cup game, I never actually expected arsenal to lose to such big margin. The game is currently 3-0 to West ham united and the scoreline is really shocking owing to the brilliant performance that this gunners team has portrayed in the premier league matches they have played.

As for the Manchester united game tonight, I don't expect anything special because this team is really annoying with their performance and I don't think they can cope on a normal circumstance with this Newcastle team because these guys are really red hot but since it's a league match maybe Manchester united can surprise just as the scoreline for arsenal game is also shocking.

This is of course surprising because Arsenal lost to West Ham by entering the 80th minute, I know maybe Arteta is not so concerned with the Cararabao Cup so easily lost this match?
Of course I wouldn't be surprised because they won't lose in other competitions such as the Champions League and Premier League because that's the most important thing.

Manchester United are now continuing their trend of losing to Newcastle, this is a problem that Erik Ten Hag's team is having because they can't perform well, I feel Manchester United this season feels more difficult to win.

Mickel Arteta need to do something to rescue Arsenal because playing Jorginho in the midfield alone will never work, he could have played Elneny intead of him if he wanted to rest Rice since Partey is injured. The main cause of this defeat is the set up Arteta did at first because Havertz, Jojinho, and Fabio Vieira's combination will not work against a strong Premier League team like West Ham United.

Most times fatigue worries this players as it's just four days after they played their last match if you watch this match you will see that the players look exhausted so I'm not surprise at all. Westham performance in this match is awesome, they played with so much confidence and they achieved a great result. Whenever it comes to F.A cup or league cup every team always try their best to make a good result, Arsenal is just unfortunate in this match as there is no much impact by the players.

Disaster for Arsenal 3-0 losing to West Ham. Kudus and Bowen just scored and this now looks like an easy win for West Ham and they even humiliate Arsenal if they score a few more goals. I guess Arsenal wont be winning that trophy or even coming close to winning it

Even though this is the EFL Cup, when Arsenal lost to West-ham 3 - 0, this was a very embarrassing result. Whatever the reason, it is not justified if Arsenal underestimates this league. It might be normal to lose, but if you get 3 goals without reply, this is really annoying. They don't seem very enthusiastic about this league. But why at least they are fighting more seriously without having to embarrass themselves like that.

Luckily, in the end, Arsenal was able to score 1 goal in the crucial minute. At least, they scored a goal, so this is much better than the initial 0.

Newcastle appears to be in a better form than Manchester united and in this match, and consider the recent losses Manchester united have against teams that are not as good as Newcastle I doubt if Manchester united is going to be able to face Newcastle heads on.

Newcastle has won two out of their last five game but Manchester united has win three but it still doesn't sound convincing to me because of their inconsistency in the premier league and even in the UCL but then we keep hoping they will get better but not with this match against Newcastle maybe they could get a draw, because currently Manchester united doesn't have any good defense line and I think that's one of their biggest problem this season.

At the start of the season, wins and losses doesn’t really probe who is going to win the league or qualify for champions league. There are room for improvements and overtaking is also allowed. Don’t forget that during January new transfers windows will be open. And most teams are anxiously waiting to buy some good players. Most of these players will bring about good change in the performance of the team while some will not add anything at all. Let’s hope that Manchester win the game against Newcastle. Because their last game at Etihad was a huge loss.

This is not the start of the season anymore because we have seen the journey of teams that have played 10 matches this season and indeed in the second half of the season of course the teams on the standing will change places with other teams. The January transfer market will be used by all teams to recruit players to improve their performance in the second half of this season. Several teams will have big target this season and of course the opportunities for them will be wide open if the players signed in the January transfer window can fully contribute to their progress in the second half of this season.

By the way, Manchester united is again 0-2 behind Newcastle united in today match. I saw that Newcastle united was able to score 2 goals in the first half and they played better than Manchester United. So let's look at the match in the second half where Manchester united will try hard to equalize. And I think Erik Ten Hag should play Rashford in the second half because he can give the best in situations like this.

I would definitely agree with some of your points, and the first that should be done is the sale of the club. The Glazers no matter the amount of money they spend do not seem welcome by United fans and this will create a negative atmosphere in the club. Should a new owner with big check book comes now then he can think of a new strategy on how to get the team to improve by releasing underperforming coach and players.

One thing stands out, United are not the club  they used to be since Ferguson left. The best thing they should have done and yet to do is reducing the amount of expectations on the club and sign a coach or back this current manager because they have switch lots of them. The team project should be rebuilding from scratch with the fan’s lowering there own expectations this way the rebuild can be done. Recycling old players for quick success is not a good option at all. They need to rebuild from scratch

It seems that United started the match actively, but Newcastle have a coach, so they played smart and the result is as they say on the scoreboard. It’s unlikely that anything will change in the second half, so the only thing I’m looking forward to is listening to Ten Hag’s next excuses. By the way, before the game he said something about “last chance” and the like, trying to cheer up the team

Honestly, this Manchester United team literally have no direction on how they are playing. They look clueless. I’m beginning to think that Ten Hag isn’t the right man for the job. I want to believe, but I can't see anything else to hold on to. This is not normal. They have injuries, fine, but the players on the field should be capable of putting one or two past Newcastle's 2nd team ffs! Ten Hag has to shoulder some of the blame.
I feel he's lost the dressing room or he's losing it gradually.There is literally zero spirit in this team. These players are shameless.The way they have been conceding goals this season is unacceptable. Making this Newcastle second field team look like they’re having a walk in the park. Weldone, I also agree with you that regaining the lost glory of a club is always a long term plan, just like what is happening to Chelsea football club. But Manchester United has actually spent much time since after Alex Faguson left the club. Coming back to glory is always a long term plan and Manchester United should be able to start it.

This is so true. Chelsea tried it and failed. They sold all their old players and bought new ones and it didn't go well with them. Although they changed management before changing all the players.

The game between Arsenal and WestHam have ended and it ended in favour of WestHam as they flogged Arsenal 3:0 at home.After watching this game,I begin to see Arsenal's weakness,and conclude that they cannot beat a strong side at the moment.They will be facing Newcastle over the weekend,and that is really going to be a tough match for them because Newcastle knows how to play Arsenal,they know that Arsenal are good and knows how to capitalise on their weak area which is the Zinchenko's wing.

Aston villa was working together in scoring a lot of goals i think that ollie still become a guy with most contribution to the aston villa at this moment. His performance is also good enough.

Emery has changed the club a lot with his hands. That's why this guy has a very good reputation among all of football fans. Aston villa has changed a lot after it was signing emery as a new coach. It seems like villa can climb up even higher.

Erik Ten Hag chances of losing his job as headcoach is very closer than expected, his presence means nothing at Old Trafford. An elite team like Manchester United is been humiliated currently against the Magpies. That's what you get when you underestimate an average competitive team. Hmm... have you completely come to terms with the fact that United is a team from the middle/basement of the standings and even such upstarts (even with prospects) like Newcastle should butcher United? I don’t even know what to say in this case. Maybe it's time to change the head coach, and not "accept the new realities" in which United is a garbage dump.

United's weakest line is Ten Hag himself  He bought 1.5 squads at his own request (and it is suspected that there was a certain amount of corruption/conflict of interest there) and justifying the terrible results by the fact that they didn’t buy someone for him are just excuses. Each coach works with what he has - there are always unexpected injuries, transfers (sometimes to prison haha) but the team does not consist of 11 people and not from one scheme. A qualified coach constantly adapts to circumstances. Under Ten Hag's leadership, the players are deteriorating and the club has a toxic atmosphere.

I have to be agreed with you about this all as well because we have too many transfers which are not helping but having huge amounts and Ajax is also suffering due to this as well which is another story but currently this all is hurting badly to Manchester United and their fans which are suffering and having not positive real time chances for the improvement in their game Ten Hag is currently controversial person in this all because his leadership is also under threat with the things which he is doing and having no positive results in long run.

I will blame Arteta for the defeat, at first why will he bench Saka and Rice, first half was just boring it was as if am not watching Arsenal match, it seems like Ramsdel has forgotten how to keep cause what the hell did Ramsdel did today absolute rubbish I use to talk bad about Raya but Raya is far better than Ramsdel. I didn't expect this defeat I was expecting a draw but when Bowen scored the third goal I was like Arsenal will not be able to play again but after Arteta made some changes they started playing good but at that point westham has already locked their defence, very tight defence and attack, is this how Arsenal will play with Newcastle,well good luck for westham.

I want to believe that Manchester united have nothing to offer, Manchester united and Chelsea has not to offer this season maybe we should wait for a while first. But today's match was boring Newcastle was just oppressing Manchester united  and casemiro just playing rough game.
