Manchester United and Chelsea succeeded in surprising everyone this Midweek with both clubs winning their matches though the most unbelievable was the match between Manchester united and Aston Villa, like despite Manchester United conceding 2 early goals before halftime, they still came back for second half and amazingly equalized and won Aston Villa, so regardless of the inconsistency between Manchester United and Chelsea this season, they still deserve some commendation for being above the top half of the premier league table because with the numerous bad results they've got in most of their previous matches they wouldn't have still been within and above the 10th position in the league table.

This week, only Newcastle seems to have produced disappointing results. They lost to Nottingham who was actually much weaker than them. Meanwhile, the other favorite teams all managed to produce very positive results. Man City managed to beat Everton, Chelsea managed to beat Crystal Palace, Man United managed to beat Aston Villa which surprised everyone with their dramatic victory, and of course Liverpool also managed to beat Burnley which was already in everyone's predictions.

What remains is Brighton vs Tottenham and Arsenal vs West Ham. Let's see whether the remaining favorite team will win these two matches. I personally favor Tottenham and Arsenal. I hope they can achieve positive results like other favorite teams.

An easy win for Manchester City but that doesn't mean these guys are still the team that used to dominate in every game, these days when Man City are playing is like they're trying to be very careful and you see that touch of brilliance they're losing it in every game and I don't think they can be more deadly when KDB fully recovers.
Pep Guardiola to come out to say other clubs are wishing them (Manchester City) to lose in every game, to me that's not mind games anymore but he has gotten the message that no team in the EPL is that scared to go head to head without trying to get a point, on like last season, so I don't see the Citizens winning the league this season.

It is easier to be successful because they were matched with Everton, a club that placed at the lower table. I admit that this squad is not the same who dominated the league before. They slipped on a strike from Jack Harrison. But they are competent enough to the clubs on top. Firepower will undoubtedly increase with KDB and Haaland returning in January. Because of this, the gambling market remains stacked in favor of Man City over Liverpool and Arsenal. Their return is inevitable and Man City will close the season defending their championship.

Chelsea are favorites to win the match, especially since they are playing at home. The last match didn't go according to plan, that's because Chelsea had to bow down and be beaten by Wolves 2-1. Today Chelsea has the opportunity to come back and win the match, their squad or line up looks convincing to do so.

To be honest, I don't fully believe that Chelsea can win their home game against Crystal Palace, but the good news is that Chelsea seems to have a superior probability of winning it. Christopher Nkunku has scored 1 goal in 1 appearance for Chelsea in the Premier League so far, so I think he is a player who will help Chelsea win the match against Crystal Palace. Kick off is coming soon, I'm waiting.

Chelsea does not look like they will score this match with the performance they put forte in the first half. Chelsea had two yellow cards , one from Caicedo and the other one was given to Gallagher. I saw more goals coming from them yet as a matter of fact, it was possible to assume that Crystal Palace will lose this match over Chelsea with a goal difference  and in deed, the coast was clear enough 5 for the both clubs.

The opening goal was scored by Mykhaylo which was well assisted by Malo Gusto was a great one and the equalizer that was done by Michael Olise was another good one coming from Crystal Palace. The finishing goal scored by Noni Madueke gave Chelsea the finishing touch they needed to have won over the match yesterday. Kudos to Chelsea for being able to secure an extra 3 points making it 25 total points for them and their position which is 10th in the league shows the weakness in their performance.

In reality, Chelsea was able to win the match and was able to score an additional goal in the 89th minute by Madueke and finally Chelsea was able to get the full 3 points and add to their points collection. Now Chelsea has started to move up to 10th place but I hope that with this win Chelsea can perform better even though they are playing away from home. because sometimes Chelsea tend to be weak and can't do their best when playing away games like in the previous match against Wolves, Chelsea suffered defeat. But I admit that Wolves can't be underestimated when Wolves play at home. Manchester City and Tottenham alone can be defeated Wolves, let alone Chelsea whose performance is still not good.

And at the end of 2023, Chelsea will end the year by playing an away match with Luton Town. I hope Chelsea can win it again because Luton is a weak club and this shouldn't be too difficult for Chelsea if you look at the statistical data of the last 3 meetings between the two. If Chelsea is able to win this match, Chelsea will overtake Brighton in 9th position if Brighton loses tomorrow when they face Tottenham.

I have said from the start that Manchester City is a quite strong team and they should be watched out for by all teams in the fight for the title, slumping and getting unsatisfactory results in a few weeks is a normal thing for a football team but how can they getting up is something worth waiting for and Manchester City was able to do that quickly.

Arsenal and Liverpool have experienced an increase in quality this season compared to last season so of course this will make the competition with Manchester City in the race for the title fierce and in my opinion the same is true and will even be fiercer compared to last season.

Man City started the season in a very good position but later their poor performance saw them lose the top spot in the points table. If Manchester City can perform well in the next matches, then they can definitely occupy a good place in the EPL.

In my opinion, only three teams will continue to compete for the Premier League title until the end of the season. Liverpool and Arsenal are still able to maintain their performance well, Manchester City is trying to bounce back after getting bad results in the last few matches. Aston Villa, which is still in third place, has not been able to maintain consistency in its performance. The defeat that occurred at Manchester United headquarters proves that Aston Villa is not ready to compete in the title race.

Don't have Kevin, Manchester City have less dangerous key passes from him but their attacking system is very flexible and have other attacking star players who can support each other and almost cover the absence of Kevin. Their attacking system is affected a lot by worse performances of Haaland in this season. They have to be responsible for worse attacking performances together and should not think that all issues come from Kevin's absence in their squad.

Let's just say Liverpool and Arsenal are the most appropriate candidates to compete with Man City. However Aston Villa could slip up at any time sooner than we think. Man City can still compete for the Premier League title this season, with one postponed match providing capital that will be picked up at another time of course as additional points. Pep Guardiola is starting to be optimistic again seeing Kevin de Bruyne condition, which continues to improve his health. It could be a good sign to restore Man City attacking power to be sharper like last season. It's not surprising that Pep has prepared a powerful strategy to welcome Kevin de Bruyne return.

I believe more in Liverpool with all of my respect for Arsenal and Arteta. Arsenal are improving and becoming actually stronger day by day, season by season, but if choosing a best competitor in Premier League against Manchester City and Pep Guardiola, I choose Liverpool and Klopp.

They not only have a strong squad but have many experienced players who already won Premier League and got many big matches in Champions League. They can deal with pressure than players in Arsenal and Klopp is a more experienced coach than Arteta. At decisive time of season, Klopp can do better than Arteta.

It’s difficult to call Manchester United’s performance good, since they conceded two goals and were losing, and there was a beautiful comeback, but Manchester United conceded twice again. This could be considered a belated Christmas gift that Mu gave to their fans after the disappointing match against West Ham. Chelsea has not settled its attacking problems. I thought that with the recovery of Christopher Nkunku, they would be able to maximize the goal opportunities they always create. It is sad to see a team that plays good football and has all possession, yet always lose games. Maybe we can assume that Nkunku needs more time to recover and fit into the games but the club don't have so much time. They are stuck at 10th position and might end up losing the vision of making it to the top four position.

Everton yesterday did played well, they had a very active attacking force which at some point almost affected the rhythm of Manchester citys attack and they even made good efforts to be penetrative at the defense line of Manchester city, I was impressed too at Everton's performance regardless they weren't able to win of course city was bigger.


Manchester city did absolutely well, been able to absorb the pressure Everton was trying to bring at them and later took charge of the match, calmed the whole pressure and won the game by the end of the second half after Everton was leading at the end of the second half, without haland I expected a fewer goal but again Manchester city proved they are not very much dependent on any single player but collectively they play to win, as their team spirit is top notch the victory was very much deserving and the game was such an interesting one.

One similar things about this Chelsea and Manchester United's side is that they aren't consistent at all,if they were consistent,they would not be at where they are respectively,they would have been in the top four by now,but they are mostly punished atimes by their inconsistency,which drops their points most of the times.
Mancity will soon embark on their 10-15 match winning  streak as they normally do,which if Arsenal and Liverpool are not strong enough to keep the competition alive,they would overtake those two teams in the tittle race.Lets hope Arsenal continue to win their games to keep their tittle winning hopes alive,if not,by next transfer window,most of their players will want to leave the team to another team that can give them trophy.

Currently, many giant clubs are experiencing the same situation as Chelsea and it is not clear why in the end the club unstable condition always shows a game that many people doubt, but at the same time it actually gives a different answer which is able to bring 3 points. Due to inconsistency, clubs, especially Chelsea and Man United, are faced with player problems, the coach is always blamed. It's no longer strange that when fans want to see their favorite team win points at home, they end up losing badly to the visitors.

Well, for Chelsea, i would say that I am not surprised actually, I mean, this is expected, looking at their performance last season, and their performance this season, it's kind of hard to tell if they are doing better this season, or did better last season, though personally, I feel they actually doing better this season compared to their performance last season.

It is hard to predict when Chelsea will come back to their feet again, for one thing I am very sure of is that, many of us are eager and willing to see chelsea get back on their feet and become that one big and competitive club they used to be, and whether this will happen sooner or later, there is nothing much we can do other than to just sit and watch, not like we have access to the club, maybe we advice them on what and what to do for them to come back strong again.

Away from Chelsea now, Arsenal will be playing west ham tonight, I am looking forward to this, I am hopful that Arsenal will not disappoint, I feel like putting up some bets on this match, but I will wait a bit and decide on this later.

Very decent goal from Foden while Pickford find the ball very difficult to pick  . Manchester City is a team that rarely disappoints. From the beginning of the match i knew they will still take the lead on the score line. Regardless of how fast Everton were lucky to get a goal, they will eventually lose the game to Manchester City. They are no match for the premier league champions. So bad John Stones has been taken off as injured. His absence may leave a mark on the performance of Manchester City for some period. We saw that when Rodri was injured as well.

I knew Man City will definitely win this match and also Alvarez will definitely get a goal though never anticipated the penalty and I'm kinda happy John Stones is injured now City will drop more points except Pep can turn things around like Ancellotti.

In other matches it looks like Chelsea will manage to get 3 points in this match even though the game is very tough in my opinion.
The score is now 2-1 for Chelsea and extra time will soon be finished.

Another win for Chelsea, to the joy of the home crowd who would have expected nothing less than a win since the number one striker Christopher is back although he did not score for us to see the balloon celebration, his presence is reassuring to many of the supporters of this club. Chelsea remains tenth on the table even though they won this game. This 10th place is a position that looks like a big resistance to them and they have not been able to pass and break into the top 10 and even remain there for a long time. The victory today from Chelsea is a deserving one after seeing how they played with their opponent throughout the game. They should be ashamed if they hadn’t won any point in this match or drew the match because the stats of the game was very much in favour of them. Christopher Nkunku’s presence did really paid for them in this match. If they can get the striker back to full form, I think they will convert more goals in matches than they use to now currently.

Expected more though thought Chelsea would have scored more than 2 goals but I guess when it was 1-1 at half time I just accepted it would end by 2 goals to 1 which came to light through the penalty converted well by Madueke. I'm a bit disappointed that Nkunku didn't score while Jackson still being Jackson. Latvia played his first match today let's see how better he will perform as the season goes by

Even though they were playing without Haaland, Manchester City were still able to perform quite well and in today match they managed to beat Everton with score of 1 - 3.
This victory made Manchester City get the full 3 points and slowly they managed to catch up and narrow the gap in the standings.
It was pretty good game and Manchester City really dominated the game from the start of the match.

I got decent odd for the team that is seeded and the favorite.
This is an impressive victory that Manchester City gave us all.

This is a prove that without De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, Manchester city can still dominate which they used Everton to show example to other teams by defeated Everton 1-3 in the home of Everton to embraced three points to make their coach happy again. I know that Manchester city will not just give up like that in this season despite the injuries challenges they are experiencing but their coach has tried some players in the team and they displayed well to prove to people that they are capable to do what De Bruyne and Erling Haaland  can do. If Manchester city can succeed in this match without De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, I believe they will do everything possible in their next match to embrace another victory to continue matching forward.
