Manchester United disappointed everyone last night by drawing with Newcastle by a 1-1 result. They just couldn't play properly against Newcastle and they should be even thankful for not losing to them. Because Newcastle kept their lead for a very long time. And in the last moments, they were nearly scoring their second goal if the Jacob Murphy's shot didn't bounce off the goal post. Manchester United should focus on their next games more than this to keep rising in the standings.

ManU was really lucky. They were about to lose this match. De Gea saved many of Newcastle United's shots. They had shots from the goalpost. If ManU scored 1 point in the match, it was thanks to Cavani and De Gea. Newcastle United put on a game that really deserved a win. At least they signaled better matches for the future. I think we will see a more successful Newcastle after the interim transfer window.

The January transfer window should be great for Newcastle hopefully. They have a big chance ahead to make their lineup far stronger than now. I have heard that Eddie Howe said something like they won't go for unrealistic transfers already now. And they had better wait for the summer transfer window for that. Because I assume that those kind of players wouldn't like to leave the team at the half of the season. But if they make the right transfers now, they can save themselves from the relegation area.

Chelsea scored.  Romelu Lukaku scored with Mason Mount's assist.  Thus, Chelsea took a 1-0 lead against their opponent.  By the way, did you know that Brighton haven't been able to take the lead in any game they played against Chelsea before, and they haven't scored any goals in the last 6 games?  I am sure that a good match will be waiting for us in the second half as well.  Rudiger is shown the yellow card in the first half, he has to be more careful in the second half.

Chelsea scored in the first half but Brighton are playing well enough so far so I think Brighton can score in the second half. If Chelsea were caught off guard in the second half, then Brighton would probably score. There is a possibility that the match will end in a draw, but if Chelsea are able to dominate the match in the second half and score at least 1 more goal then I believe Chelsea will lock this win.

Brentford vs Manchester City. It looks like Manchester City really wanted to score a lot of goals today. There may be more than 3 goals in this match, I will look forward to it.

Mikel Arteta will miss Arsenal’s match against Manchester City on New Year's Day after testing positive for COVID-19. But he once tested positive before, and now again. I thought you will only test positive once When I look at wat happened to Aston villa when Steven Gerard tested positive, it would be very impossible to beat Manchester city. I hope gunners show your good work and dedication. So unlucky to test positive for the second time. I don’t even know how the players will be able to match Manchester city without Arteta. I don't expect Arsenal to win the next match. We have to manage our expectation. The boys Just play some beautiful attacking football, shows no fear to our opponent.

Even if Arteta is in the dugout they will still be bitten by Manchester city, pep guadiola side are in such a form that I don't think and attacking side like arsenal can beat them, teams that can stand them for a long time are team that are very solid in defence. I like the way City are playing at the moment, when ever KDB is in form like this City always look unstoppable.

It's still not conclusive Yet on man city beating Arsenal in absence of Arteta and mind you this is a good opportunity for the assistant coach to show how much he has in stock and also a time to sell his potential to future clubs so let's just sit back and watch out for a very tight game between Manchester city and Arsenal come 1st January

Every second game they play ends in a damn draw, (I was hoping Chelsea led Lukaku to return to the championship race again). Speaking of the Aristocrats, I came across the news that the Chelsea captain, Azpilicueta, will join the ranks of Barcelona's players next summer ... not that it worries me, I just don’t understand who will play in defense if Rudiger, Aspilicueta and Chilwell leave, (this also applies to Werner and Pulisic). Probably, Chelsea in the next transfer window will have to behave VERY aggressively, since without a strong strengthening, Liverpool and City will crush the Aristocrats in the standings.

I don't think it was mendy's fault. Headers are hard to deal with because you just don't know where it's going unlike a shot. If anything, those two Chelsea defenders beside Welbeck that did very little to stop Welbeck from making that header. Aside from the goal, Chelsea's attacking efforts were futile at best and Brighton looked like the better team in the last 10 - 20 minutes of the match.

Only problem with Chelsea or Liverpool dropping points is that City doesn't follow in that fashion.

Actually I didn't expect liverpol to lose and Chelsea to draw. I'm guessing the top clubs will win all. Brighton played well, they were quite effective relying on counter-attacks. Bahakan was second after chelsea's more relaxed lead. They lowered the tempo of the attack. Even Brighton were more willing to put pressure on Chelsea. I think it's their fault, chelsea are overconfident. They were caught off guard in injury time.

It seems like the only consistent spot lately is Norwich team totals under 0.5 goals.  And it’s almost always at plus money.

Narrow win for Manchester City against Brentford and Chelsea only got a draw in match with Brighton.
Liverpool has one match less and with win in next round they can overtake second place, but it is still big difference with first placed Man City.
It is much more interesting table situation in Championship then in Premier League.

Has Thomas Tuchel magic starting to fade in our eyes, I saw an ordinary Chelsea team today, I saw a team that will fight for the top four this season.they remind of that players and team that sack Frank lampard.big one for Brighton they deserved a point in this game.

If Chelsea's successes, which followed Tuchel's arrival in the form of winning the Champions League, are really akin to some magic that did not quite follow from the state of the club, then Tuchel's task is just to build a strong club that is capable of achieving high goals even without magic. It was not to be expected that this process would be painless and some costs are and will be required. We can say that now there is a kind of temporary crisis, like a crisis in family relationships, which necessarily occur in married couples after some time has passed But still, I would not directly compare Lampard and Tuchel as coaches. Still, in my humble opinion, Tuchel has more experience and more authority in the coaching shop, so I think that Tuchel has more opportunities to overcome this crisis.

8 points ahead of the league shows lots of chances in winning the EFL and going by how Chelsea would settle for a draw against Brighton will they have what it takes to take up Liverpool. Notwithstanding their 1 point difference Liverpool is more coordinated and has more technical force compared to Chelsea and so it might turn out an easy win for Liverpool getting them a point ahead of Chelsea if Tuchel decides to relent

Actually no one wants to give up because Chelsea and Liverpool both want to get 3 points to make the distance between Manchester City and Manchester City closer. Unfortunately Chelsea were not able to maintain their 1 goal win in yesterday's match where the last minute of the match was disastrous for them. Meanwhile, Chelsea vs Brighton's draw has left Chelsea 8 point adrift of the current leaders after Manchester City won the match at Brentford Community Stadium.

For the match Manchester United vs Burnley, I hope Manchester can win this match easily even though in the last match Manchester United struggled hard throughout the match vs Newcastle to score goals. I don't think the game will end in a draw again because Manchester United should be able to take advantage of match like this to collect points.

I think it's unlikely that Man City will be caught now, the other teams are fighting for second place. Yes, it is 'only' an 8-point gap... but remember that we are now halfway through the season in terms of games played, and Man City are W16D2L2... i.e., they've only dropped 10 points in their 20 games so far. If they continue like this, and only drop 10 in their final 18 games, then it is very difficult for a team that is already 8 points behind them.

I sat in the viewing centre praying my whole life out when it was looking as if Brentford was gonna turn in over for mancity but it turned out that they knew what they had to do at the right time and from the right person.lol
Bernado lost may chances and so did foden although from the look of things, he wasn't given all the space to play what he had in mind , until the hero took the ball to its right place at the right time too.
Phil foden made a right move and guarded de bruynes pass into the net and it ended  1:0 .
Well I'm still looking forward to them as they'll do well in their next match with Arsenal on the first day of January

Although manchester city dominated in the match against Brentford but unfortunately they were only able to score 1 goal, Brentford who played quite well was even able to trouble the defense of manchester city but the poor finishing they did made them have to lose at home, now manchester city has secured their position in the peak after previously Liverpool failed to win against Leicester and Chelsea were only able to get a draw against Brighton, the win against Brentford was the 10th successive win that Manchester City recorded this season, besides that Foden, who was the hero of Manchester City's victory, had a perfect performance by collecting 5 goals from 13 league games. To be honest as an arsenal fan of course I want to see arsenal can also be very consistent as manchester city did and in the next match i hope manchester city will have bad luck when dealing with arsenal .

Liverpool will need to pick as many points as possible, before AFCON begins because it's going to be a devastated period for klopp and Liverpool side. I can't even imagine how Liverpool will line up without Mane and Salah.

Arsenal have been continuing to impress me on the weeks we have left behind. They have just magically changed everything about them. I have no doubt that everyone here remembers how terrible start they made to this season. They were like losing every single match of theirs by big goal margins. Arteta was on the brink of getting sacked. But suddenly, something started changing about them. And they have arisen with the same manager. And thanks to their current winning streak of four matches, they have got the 4th position in the standings. Tottenham are right behind them by a 6-point gap maybe but they have three missing matches now. But this still doesn't change the fact that Arsenal are having a very satisfying season for their supporters also.

I also point this, but I'm not sure they will continue to the next week. so far in the 5 last games, Arsenal has not fought versus a strong team yet, and begin next week they will meet a strong team like Manchester City in the premier league and Liverpool in the FA cup. as we can see, they performed well be testing, if they can hold the win that possible can get at least 1 title.

Arsenal have a really good history when it comes to the FA Cup. Recently, they won the title four times. Considering their huge effort in this season, it would be really surprising not to see them getting very close to a title at least. They don't have a chance for the Premier League title if we look at it realistically. But for the EFL Cup and the FA Cup, I believe that they have a good chance. By the way, they are in the semi-final of the EFL Cup and their opponent is Liverpool. But if they get past them also, I think Arsenal can really make it to the title also.

This will be a hard month for teams that have a lot of african players. Liverpool is probobly in biggest trouble and to me they will probobly drop a few points,Chelsea is also playing really bad lately and i dont see them at second place it will be really hard,i think Man City will make their advantage a lot bigger
