I think Chelsea will play Europa League football next season by finishing 5th.

Leicester will finish in 4th above Chelsea on goal difference.

Liverpool will finish 3rd.

Chelsea will definitely be in the top4, there is no doubt about it. I just noticed I made an error with the goal difference situation in my earlier post.

I still think Liverpool will finish 3rd and Leicester City will finish 4th but it will be tight. Aston Villa will beat Chelsea but Leicester have to beat Tottenham, I think they will even though Kane will be going all out to score for Spurs because it will probably be his last games for them before they sell him on for big money to a bigger club.

Even though Leicester have scored 9 more goals that Chelsea they have also conceded 12 more goals which means Chelsea have +3 goal difference over Leicester. A draw or a loss for Leicester means they will be limited to the Europa League next season.

The 2020/21 English Premier League season is over, here is the final league table of season

Well done to Manchester City for being Premier League champions and for reaching the Champions League final. Well done to Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea for taking 2nd, 3rd and 4th places. All 4 teams will be in the Champions League next season.

Sheffield United, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham are relegated to the Championship.

@jollyGood thank you for the wonderful season of analysis and updates, I'm sure your team made the Europa League because you never talked about who you support, the anti-Chelsea agenda helped us a lot this season from the refs to the VARs, our brothers from London helped us when Var decided to give Leicester two awful penalties to make sure Chelsea lose out of top 4 and on the other end gave Aston Villa a penalty to make sure Chelsea goes down.

Leicester City bottled it again on the final day of the season to the same Chelsea side, they must be devastated right now after spending the highest days in the top 4 only to lose out in less than 40mins, too painful but Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea making the competition is healthy for the league.

Big farewell to Aguero and other players that might leave at the end of the season to retirement or another club, it was an intense season indeed.

finally the match has ended ,, the 2020-2021 season has ended ,, Manchester City finally came out as champions, Manchester United are in 2nd place, and Liferpol can finally finish in 3rd place in the standings, even though Liferpool in the middle of the season suffered an injury problem. However, Liferpol still has a winning mentality, and next year they will get one ticket to the Champions League ..

@JollyGood I was expecting you to post some of your predictions for the new season, so maybe you’ll post once it resumes I guess. However here are mine 1) I believe Arsenal & Tottenham will perform much better than last season, but West Ham won’t unless they sign Lingard, 2) The top 4 will be a very tricky race and I can only see City as a fix team, rest all will continue to come and go.

Few questions here and there. It is for a fact that Arsenal only tops the premier league table only at the start. Big questions regarding Watford, Norwich and Brentford, are they going to be a Leeds utd or a Fulham?

This will be Thomas Tuchel first full season at Chelsea; and the question is, can he get the best performance from the squad in a full season? With Kounde coming in and searches for a Striker, can they mount a title challenge?

Tottenham rebuild will be a mess if Harry Kane later leaves for Manchester City; can Tottenham survive the sale of Kane? Manchester city remain the only team in the EPL with a complete squad depth and Pep team is only a striker and a creative midfielder away from having a 10/10 squad. Another title challenge ?

Disrespected Manchester United will look to build on their second place finish from last season, and with Varane, Sancho in fixing troubles in defense and their right attack; it looks to be a good season for Ole boys, with a CDM and Trippier touted to join MUFC; Ole boys could mount a serious challenge, remember that MUFC has gotten into 5 semi finals, 6 quarters and 1 final, they could go more steps ahead this season too.

Tired legs Liverpool will look to make a statement too; with fringe players looking to leave, and the likes of Salah, Mane ageing; they will hope to bring the best out of defense through Konate and also hope that the likes of Jota and Keita keeps fit to help their premier league charge.

For mid table teams, Aston Villa, West Ham and Leicester city; it begs to be another interesting season, can they go a step better? We will find out by May. What are your premier league reviews for the 2021/2022 season ?

I think the teams that came up will struggle, as usual. Norwich looked great last year - but they've lost Buendia now, and go into the Premier League without one of the key players they had in the Championship.
I can't see beyond Man City for the title, particularly if they get Kane. Grealish is perhaps not so important for them, and would be a squad player. Man U look to have improved, but are not on City's level... and I think Liverpool are some way behind, too.

Thank you for contributing in the thread and making it an enjoyable read but there was no anti-Chelsea agenda by the referees on the pitch or by members of this forum

Leicester City deserved to finish in 4th place last season but Liverpool pipped them. How sad to see Leicester City collapse in the Premier League but at least thy won the FA Cup for the first time in their history after beating a strong Chelsea team. What a brilliant goal it was by Tielemans that won it. Maybe Leicester City will try to go a step further this time and finish 4th but it will be difficult.

As for Aguero, he did his bit for Manchester City and made a lot of money. Now he can finish his playing days for two seasons at Barcelona so not a bad end to his professional career.

I agree with you, Arsenal and Tottenham should perform better but will they? The seem to run out of steam more than once during the season. West Ham will not be able to perform like they did last season because Lingard was on loan and he was a huge help for them but he has returned back to Manchester United. West Ham need to buy a few players otherwise they will end in mid-table.

As for the top 4, I agree with you again. Manchester City is the team to beat but Manchester United and Chelsea will be close by. Liverpool seem to have the fear factor and teams are just not scared of playing against them any more therefore I cannot see Liverpool finishing in the top 3.
