Seems like MCN payments are staying unconfirmed for the whole day now. Is there an issue with it?

Something is wrong I have found 7 blocks of Moneta Verde since my last confirmation.

We are glad to announce an additional reward acheme - PPLNS
Now you can choose to be rewarded using PPLNS scheme (PPS is also available as an option).
Moreover, you can select reward method for each currency individually!

Current PPS method fee is 2% for CryptoNote based currencies and 2.5% for BTC and LTC
Current PPLNS method fee is 1.5% for CryptoNote based currencies and 2% for BTC and LTC

Going to answer your miners about the long confirm (or lack  thereof) on Moneta Verde?

Seeing as, at the moment, your pool is the ONLY pool, and holds 90%+ network hashrate?

Question here.

The pool calculator says that with my 6800h/s power i should make 2.5M DUCK a day.
i mined couple of blocks with PPLNS and saw that i get about 10,000DUCK reward a block. about 2-3%. if i make 10k duck a block and the calculator says i'm gonna make 2.5M
it means that the pool has to find 250 blocks a day? or 1 every 6 minutes? i'm quite sure its not gonna happen all day. its about luck or the reward of the PPLNS can change? maybe the PPS is better?

please explain thank you.

admins / tech stuff of miner gate:
Without stratum protocol, there is a big difference in income. About 20%:
I mined xmr+mcn yersterday on your pool, 1. my hash rate was about 20% less then usually I see on moneropool.com for example - about 28-34 kH, on other monero pool with stratum , I see 36kH-41kH. 2. my income was about 20% less then usually on a particular xmr pool.
And more: I post in helpdesk a problem about withdraw of 950 mcn, the problem still exists!
My nickname pet on your pool.
You should implement stratum, without this there won't be many miners on your pool and benefits of merged mining = 0 (zero), because all income of merged mining plus -20% income of your pool = 0.

Hi, is anyone using the Claymore GPU miner with Minergate?
I've been trying to start it but it only says "Missed required command line options!"...

EDIT: nevermind. Sorted.

Hey, i found that Minergate is the most stable and profitable cryptonote pool.
But some of us have a problem with NOT stratum mining here on cpuminer multi.

Minergate cpuminer-multi tips
[/size]

If you have cpuminer-multi, it is buggy with stratum - problem is that if e.g. you have 4 cores and try 4 threads with it you will have 99% of CPU idle, because it is not working in correct way. Also native cpuminer is not working with minergate, but guys made fork with improvements to make it work with minergate - https://github.com/ekimmo/cpuminer-multi - WOLFs miner with minergate support
https://github.com/ekimmo/cpuminer-multi-LucasJones - LucasJones miner with minergate support.

BUT there is still first problem with 99% of CPU idle, BUT, there is a nice workaround:
try to connect miner via "screen" like that:
Code:
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
screen -dm ./minerd  -a cryptonight -o bcn.pool.minergate.com:5555 -u your_minergate_email -p x -t 1;
That example will launch 12 minerd instances each with 1 thread. And with minergate it will gives you 10% of cpu idle on 4 core.
Try to play with number of screens, but general rule is to use CPU_CORESx3 or CPU_CORESx4 to mine on cpuminer with NOT stratum protocol.

It works for me, hope it helps someone else.

Is there a withdrawal issue with Monero? I can't withdraw, keeps failing. I had this issue in the past.

Yes, my nick is yvg1900, NOT yvg900, and I am the dev of yam. And yes, my Twitter feed is official source for links.

Validity of builds can be verified by checking signatures via any Qt-based wallet (there are checksums and signatures files in file repo).

Btw, is there somebody impersonating as yvg900?

I have XMR withdrawal issue as well, it is already second time. Coins are NOT credited back to account, so I even can not repeat withdrawal attempt...

Can someone from MinerGate check the case or point to appropriate support channel?

Usually they will respond on the "Ask Us" tab on the right side of their website. I had to wait a day or so for the problem to be resolved.

I guess site dev/admin is a no-show for a while now.

All he comes on here to do is brag about "new additions" to his site, and ignores the pleas for help.

Not to mention he's losing mass amounts of miners due to the fact that it takes FOREVER for minergate to PAY, let alone CONFIRM your earnings *cough MCN cough*

Dev... seriously... I mean this in the nicest possible way.

Get off your ass... and answer the questions you are being asked, and stop ignoring people. That is a very QUICK way to lose business. No miners = no income 4 u.

Add stratum to your site... I have errors out the ass trying to mine cryptonote coins on your site...

And for fuck's sake add AEON coin... but only AFTER you add the stratum ports.

Is anyone getting anywhere near the payout the calculator states? For 700h/s calculator states exactly 2 XMR/day. I get aroung 0,7 XMR. I know there is diff changing, dev fee, pool fee and some rejected shares but its still waaay off. In the last week the payout was never even close to 50% of calculator stats.  Huh
