Thanks! We think so too Smiley

To meet our timeline, they put it on a RPI for us.

In the future, the zencontroller will become a embedded device

Thanks for the information.

A quick tip for anyone who hasn't used a Raspberry Pi before: If you're going to connect one than one (Non-USB powered miner like the ones GAW is selling) to the Raspberry Pi; use a powered USB hub between the Pi and the miners. Although it should be ok without a hub; I've found it to be a lot more stable with a powered hub.

The Raspberry Pi's themselves are powered over USB, and due to this they can't put much juice out of the 2 USB ports (Pretty much 1/4 power of a normal USB port).

This is especially important if you're going to use one of the USB stick miners that draw all of their power from the USB port.

Will hosted A2s be back anytime soon?

Pre-orders for next week are already up! Smiley

I see the A2s under Innosilicon but no A2s at all under hosting.

Here they are Smiley

The A2 mini - I want that! Oh well, I do have a couple Widow's coming soon.   Smiley

Do we know if the "ZenMiner" is just a raspberry Pi with custom software or if it's a completely different hardware device?

Also I don't know if this has been answered before, but will the Blackwidows have a dedicated power supply that comes with them (Like BFL jalapenos used a DC power supply that was packaged with it) or will they be more like the gridseed miners where I will need to purchase an ATX power supply and rig it to fit the gawminer?

http://www.gawminers.com/zencontroller-by-zenminer/

Edit:

So Gawminers now has chat support on their website so I asked these questions to Luke, who responded very quickly to my inquires Smiley

1. The ZenController by Zenminer is a raspberry Pi with custom software so that it runs on the cloud for you.
2.  The Black Widow will require its own ATX PSU with 4 PCI-E cables to run it.

Can you plug in multiple devices into a zenminer?  I've got 4 falcons coming and wondered if I had to use 4 zenminers or just 1 via a powered USB hub.

It's always a pleasure doing business with GAW, extremely decent of you guys to sort out the rusty 5-chip issue despite it being in no way your fault, this is why I don't buy from anywhere else.  Cool

Hey Josh, I'd like to throw out an idea for you. IF GAW could put out a photo(s) of the day (during these next few crazy weeks). Maybe a behind the scenes, maybe hardware....everybody likes pictures.  Smiley

Agreed! Some photos would be awesome to help us through the last remaining few days anticipation before we get our hands on our new GAW miners.  Grin

I have a few sets of 10 gridseeds.  They were advertised at 3.3 Mh/s per set.  My actual hashing speed is 2.84 Mh/s, which is about 86% efficiency.

Are the new ASIC's advertised hashing speed estimated?  Or have they been verified/tested as accurate speeds (e.g. 54 Mh/s  for the War Machine)?

I've also asked for pictures twice on the forums, one person on their website chat and via email. Not ONE of them have provided any. Those types of questions go ignored or they refer me to their email support service, where those emails also go ignored.

Could someone from GAWminers pm me? I have a sales questions and contacted via e-mail, Thomas Nguyen got back to me quick and directed me to a sales specialist but no reply. Tried once more and got ignored.

Tried a few other methods with no luck, probably too busy with the Scrypt ASIC stuff so this is my last resort. I like what you're doing so I wanted to show support by purchasing from you first if possible.

Thanks

Anyone curious about set up for the A2 Innosilicon can reference my initial thoughts here www.MinerStuff.com I had a few hurdles getting it going, but they were pretty simple. I know it can be difficult to set up new equipment when it doesn't come with a manual. I will be fleshing out a more in depth guide soon. Also, GAWminers stands by their word! My A2 Innosilicon miner came today and I am thrilled to have it before a holiday weekend.

Mine were running at 360 kh/s each, are you dual mining or not using cg. I have found cgminer gave me the best results

yeah they squared me away on the 'old' five chip gridseeds.

I now have a credit and can't make up my mind on what gear to get with it.

GAW has been spectacular fixing any and all problems I have had with gridseed orders.

Greetings,

I wanted to find out what happens after week 3 for the GAW suite of miners?  Would they just then be available as a normal product or will we see another round of week 4, 5, 6 and so on, with adjusted prices for each corresponding week?

Also, I wanted to see if there is any consideration underway to help founding members upgrade from "Legacy" 10 packs.

Any thoughts in regards to additional clarification of pricing protection and equipment buy back would also be very welcomed so we knew where the GAW company vision stands on these elements would also be greatly appreciated.

I sincerely appreciate all the support that I have received as a Customer!!  Most of all, I like that you stand behind you word and I believe that you guys are continuously working to make things better for the community as a whole.

Thanks,
Larry

Good Morning everyone

Here is an update Smiley

The miners are coming from two different locations depending on where you are in the world. The majority are already in transit, and the rest will be in the mail in a few hours.

As you know, we have included a free zenminer in every order. In addition, instead of the free ground most of you choose, I upgraded every order to express. So most of you will receive your miners on tue through thur depending where you are Smiley

You will all be getting tracking in the next few days. I had to turn off the auto notifyer because some of you were seeing things before you were supposed to Smiley

Lastly, I will upload some pictures soon. We have all be running around to get these to you, so stay tuned for those.

Only a few more days now Smiley

PS, our decision to partner with zenminer is already going to pay off. When you plug you controller in, it will download a upgraded firmware we built today to increase the speeds even more!

That's most probably a noob question, but can the zenController be powered through a wall outlet, or usb hub?
And is everything included for one of those options? Also, what is the included "1 x zenController Power cable for standard Power supply unit (4 PIN Connection)"?

Thanks for your answer.
