Art contest is just like a appreciation for the artist to create art for the platform and the platform may use the arts for documentation or for other marketing purposes.
I have to agree that promotion for gamblers would be much effective for the casino to gain players but it is not wrong as well to have art contest if the marketing team has the funds for it.

Promotion through art contests doesn't have a pretty good impact on the platform, but at least it will increase brand awareness that the brand has successfully partnered with one of the other big brands (in the case of BK8, it's with AVFC).
