Believe I remember seeing the four seasons logo sponsoring an event in the United States too. So they are the ones bringing in the money for the prizes.

I didn't know about this one. But for as long as there is a good cause of these events and more sponsors coming in to support the esports community and for the Olympics, this is going to be history made and written. Anyone, look closely to the dota 2 and we're having a big tournament now which is the Dream League Season 25, prize pool is $1M and the day 1 for the group stage 1 has just ended. And that means there will be group stage 2 but that will be after 3 more days, so moving on to the day 2 of the GS1.
Here are the schedules of matches playing later and for the next days for groups A and B.

Just began watching DreamLeague as it popped up on my screen as soon I started up youtube on the big screen.
Think the algorithm is pointing me towards watching DOTA2 instead of CS2 after my searches for some more information on those patches that @boltz had mentioned in his earlier post.
BTW, thanks for the schedule of the upcoming matchups for this tournament as it looks like it just kicked off.

PGL has been profitable because of these elite teams all winning their matches against these lesser experienced teams in the tournaments.
Don't think this would even be considered a major since it's the debut of this in Romania.

There are too many streamers aside from the official ones that streams the matches. So, you gotta choose either the official or just some casual dota 2 streamers out there in Youtube.

No problem. There's a lot of actions that we have to tune in and I'm looking for some new meta probably with the big patch coming. And I think it will be in the middle of this Dream League tournament.

Just finished watching 9Pandas vs Xtreme Gaming for the DreamLeague season 25 group stages.

Now on to the PGL where MOUZ surprised a shocking good Virtus.Pro squad with taking the first map of their series in the later stages of this brand new tournament.

That game ended with a 1-1. Most of the games have ended already as of typing this but there is only one series left that is about to go on its game 2. And that is this match;

Then after this match, everyone rests and we move on to the last day of the group stages.

Rainbow6 six invitational finals in few hours with BDS taking on faze,
Last time faze choked a 6-1 lead  so i think they clean sweep today in straights

PGL cluj napoca is also going on but todays matches ended and tomorrow play starts in about 16 hours

Not too familiar with Rainbow Six in the esports arena but since dota2 has been making a free fall lately in viewership just might start looking for a stream to begin watching it.

I use to believe in this team but not anymore since their last outing where they were getting blanked without any competitive play coming out of this Turkish team.

And from these three, only one will continue to the group stage two and for the meantime, there have been eliminated teams already and so this is a recap of what are those teams for the entire run of the group stage 1.

I had the same thoughts on Pain potentially winning over Mouz, but Pain might crumble under pressure because they don't have much LAN experience while Mouz has played on the live stage multiple times.

Astralis pulled the impossible against the MongolZ by eliminating them in a 2-0 fashion.

The MongolZ was caught lacking on their map pick and nearly tied it up on Astralis' map pick. When they got to their 12th round, they started struggling and went with a force buy in the last two rounds instead of saving for one full gun round that could've sealed the deal.

If the underdogs get fired up like this in the live stage then Team Falcons surely have a chance against Eternal Fire.

Mongolz vs Astralis went into overtime for their map 2 to see if there was going to be a comeback but the Vikings not since 2023 made it through.

Thanks. Rolled it into the next bet with an early win with the next map left to go. So essentially doubled my money since I all-ind the win.

They do seem to drop their performance when put into these very scenarios.
So I think you are onto something there.

We have the semi-finals happening in a few hours from now with Astralis taking on Mouz and Falcons up against Faze.
Both matches will be hard to decide on who will win.
But I am certain both will be epic and not disappoint running up to the finals set for tomorrow to close out the debut of this event.

These semifinal matches are potentially worth a 100k to the teams, might be alot of pressure for some of the new-ish mouz players.

That's just my view on them because the same thing happened in IEM Katowice, they did well in the group stage only to play underwhelmingly in the playoffs live stage.

Later, we got a final between Team Falcons and Mouz. It's not something I expected to see as I thought FaZe would come out hot, and instead, it was Team Falcons. Then in the other match, Astralis losing 11 rounds in a row in the final map after being up 5-2 was interesting, to say the least.

CounterStrike does seem to be taking the attention away from DOTA2 lately.
Because if teams such as Falcons can afford offer S1mple enough for him to be styling around Spain in a brand new Ferrari like this:

Other than the Asia ones there are Intel Extreme Masters in Dallas closed qualifiers happening.
Also a brand new tournament beginning in Bucharest & Cluj-Napoca for PGL on February 14th-23rd.

Not sure how in the heck Team Falcons dropped their own map pick in a loss to MOUZ once again.
Maybe they should have S1mple get out of that Ferrari and actually help them out instead of taking a holiday on their coin and have the others do the heavy lifting.
Seems like a spoiled brat than a professional to me.
