I don't think group A is a death group as you said because there are two strong teams from that team which are the Netherlands and Ecuador I think Senegal would have been a powerful team but the absence of the Bayern Munich player Sadio Mane will affect the performance of the Senegalese team. Qatar being the host nation is not a strong team because they qualified for the world cup because they are the host country I don't see them coming out of the group stage.

Two countries will move to the next stage and I think it will be the Netherlands and Senegal or the Netherlands and Ecuador, wishing the host team all the best today but I don't see them going far in this tournament.

Ecuador won by 2-0 goal against Qatar. Qatar was some pressure i Think they didn’t play their nature game.Qatar goal keeper performance were very poor. He didn’t do his best job.Ecuador  played very well this world cup in opening match.I hope Qatar will be back their win site in next match.

There wasn't also coordination between them and the goalkeeper that made unsuccessful decisions too especially in the cancelled goal.. The midfield of Qatar was quite empty to reduce the pressure on the Qatari defence and to plan a coordinated attack. Now the attack line was playing most of the time? in their own zone except for some attacks? I can't remember more than 2 unsuccessful attempts made so we couldn't say how good was the defence of Ecuador. BTW Qatar was close to score in both attempts which would be embarrassing for Ecuador.
What I can say is that Ecuador dropped after the second goal and if they were playing vs a good team they would definitely lose that game.

This was expected because Ecuador's most players are involved in best leagues which give them good advantage and Qatar's mostly players were playing at home, so the quality gape is surely going into Ecuador favour, so they take good advantage of this all and take early lead which give them benefit and their defence which was surely best not allowed opponents to have any advantage.

Now with this win most chances they could be good to go in next round because Senegal after exit of Sadio Mané is not going to be tough like they were here lack of practice and better skills surely hurt Qatari team they need more practice if they want to keep at better place for the future specially need to work on domestic system and having good practice sessions are also valuable for them.

Sadio Mane might not be on that team, but Senegal has talented players who can advance the team to the next round even without him. Perhaps you undervalued Senegal so much in this World Cup. Netherland would be a worthy opponent and their encounter with them might be challenging for them to win. But other than Netherlands, I don't think any of the other nations in that group can stand up to Senegal. I hope by this point they have adjusted to not playing without Sadio Mane, even though his absence won't give them more confidence.

Mane's absence at the world cup this time is very unfortunate and of course this also makes Senegal's chances decrease a little, especially in this case Mane is one of the mainstay players.
But still for this it's not just Mane because even though Mane is great, this is indeed a team game.
I think Senegal will still be troublesome at least for the fight for second place in the group phase because with this for first place I'm pretty sure about the Netherlands.
