Anyone can join at any time, which is a significant disadvantage for new players but not for us because he can only afford an average squad. And he's already used the TC chip to shoot himself in the head. Manager of the Week is only given to the highest ranked squad Without any chip (used for that GW)

That's it for his team right now, all his players have played and he's scored total of 69 points, + maximum of 3 extra bonus point to bring his final tally to a grand total of 72 points, there is no way that would be anything close to the highest score of the round, so you really can tell how much of a disadvantage a new team at this point would cost, he can't afford to the luxury of 3 premium players + couple of 5M+ starting defenders, Arsenal and Liverpool have the best fixtures on paper, but the fact the player could not go for players like Martinelli and Saka or Odegaard from Arsenal, or Salah, Darwin and or Jota, with even no Haaland on the team, had to settle for the likes of Nketiah, Eduoard and Wissa as his forward line, while Jordan Ayew also was a midfield option already speaks everything there is understand about the competitiveness of his team, except of cause if this specific game week isn't his target and he has some close game week ahead in mind with this team.

Those are just people that are doing bad on their main account and then they open new accounts and do stupid things just for fun and to see their name on the page at least for a day. Nothing to do with us, we can't stop them, they can't hurt our scores.... To be ignored

Really? Why would you do that? You had him in your team and he can't get minutes, then Jesus gets injured and he is guaranteed minutes and you take him out before great run of fixtures for Arsenal and Sheffiled at home?

Don't get me wrong, not trying to rub salt into the wound, just trying to wrap my head around some strange choices I see every day in Fantasy. You picked Nketiah at one point for a reason, now when Jesus is again injured you have that same condition why remove him? To be fair I did not expect him to score 3 goals and would never have Nketiah in my squad, but if he was there, he would remain for home game against worst defense in the Europe for sure. If I was on free hit this week, Nketiah, Saka and Martinelli would be first 3 names on my team sheet.

If you are on wildcard that is whole other thing and you can forget what I wrote above, wildcard requires long term setup and Nketiah definitely isn't one for that.

I sold him to get Watkins but that required me to sell a few other players as I did not have enough funds. Because he would be playing Luton and then some easier games including Forest. And Nketiah was only in my squad as an enabler, so that I could get better midfield players, but not as bench-fodder. That was when I was playing 3-5-2. Then Watkins started hauling every other week, as you know, and I tumbled down the leaderboard, so that kind of forced me to switch to 3-4-3.

I wasn't surprised when he scored the first goal - anyone can do that - but to miss a hat-trick was quite unfortunate on my part.

From the long-term though, I don't regret selling him, because he will most likely ghost the next few games, like Sterling (and almost everyone else who won Player Of The Week), and the points that Watkins will get over that time will inevitably become larger than his - provided he doesn't get injured of course. Also the second reason why I don't feel it's so bad long-term is because if I waited until now to sell him, I would not have been able to afford Watkins without selling people like Maddison/Bowen/Alvarez which I don't like to do.

Semenyo scored again - I don't understand why he's not playing more. I do have him on the bench, if Coufal does not start that's at least 6 points from the bench and from a 4 million player.
I will swap him out though - considering his contribution to the team I expected him to get way more minutes.

Crazy situation, but the "intended area" rule was enforced, as it was with Raphinna against Southampton last season. They are FPL, but they use statistics from a third-party website. Last season, the FA gave March a goal, but the FPL stayed firm on their initial stand of an OWN GOAL, and March has yet to receive points for the goal. The Serie A fantasy is so clear.

I was fooled by Chelsea's preseason performances and placed a side bet with more than 5mBTC on Chelsea finishing ahead of Liverpool. I've asked them to come claim the bet, but no one has come out; they're waiting for the Bitcoin halving to bankrupt me. Hahah

Still you had a narrow escape. I made a 15 mbtc side bet with Hhampuz on Chelsea to finish the season ahead of Newcastle by trusting Chelsea's performance at the beginning of the season.    Even though Newcastle didn't have a good start to the season my chance to win this side bet is really very low as Chelsea are in awful condition.

I'd guess he sold Nketiah before Gabriel Jesus picked up his injury during the clash vs Sevilla, and Arteta doesn't seem to have great confidence in Eddie Nketiah, I'm sure he probably would not have sold him out after knowing Gabriel Jesus is injured.

If I had Eddie Nketiah as well, I likely would have sold him out too after Gabriel Jesus returned from injury alongside Martinelli as well, that can only mean Nketiah would be having very limited playing time, and a non-starting or just ~15 mins substitute 5.5m forward isn't something I would consider as my bench player, because there some better starting 4.5 - 5.5m options, players like Cunha, and Eduoard are the likes I would settle, or I could settle for 4.5 forward while putting that extra 1m into my midfield to get a player like Jarred Bowen.

Watkins FOMO I can understand, I don't have him and have no way to get him without sacrificing way too much. I just hope his numbers will regress to the mean. He is overperforming on his data in unsustainable way and it will happen sooner or later.

You performed well with your midfielders, but the buwatress I know will never play Mbuemo ahead of Saka; something tells me that you missed the deadline and missed to make changes to your team, and everything worked out well for you. You'll need to make an early substitution, Saka for Mbuemo for GW10. This weekend, Arsenal will face Sheffield united.

Nope, what actually saved me was that FPL showed Saka was injured =)

Saka is always, always my main guy, agreed, but I watch the guy play and I think the internationals plus recent games have sapped his strength, so for these 2 GWs I'm keeping him on my bench only because of form. Seems my mistake was to keep Raya on the bench. It could work out if Ederson either keeps a clean sheet or doesn't play (I hope the latter).

And in the end Saka might still get played too subbing Diaz, because I just read that my Diaz had his parents kidnapped in Colombia (mom rescued, dad still missing). I doubt he plays.

P.S. Is anyone impressed with me keeping Wilson on my team since GW1? Without captaincy or vice, he's now on 5th ranking for points and only on the roster of 5%. I'm genius.

Same way I feel for not owning Salah, I do not just see a game where he will not score or create an assist.

Brendford scored on their first second-half chance. My darling Chelsea games are so scripted that whenever we dominate a game in the first half without scoring, we invariably lose in the second half. Today we're good, tomorrow we're a ass. So inconsistent

Exactly how a team that has the intentions to win the league should be performing, Play vey well against the small teams, win the games you are expected to win against these teams, and then make sure to not loose but to pick a point or win when you play big teams. Arsenal has successfully been able to do that this season. Winning Manchester United, Manchester City, and not loosing to Chelsea. We have Liverpool left to contend with. It is never an easy game with them.

Yeah, but best players tend to chase personal statistics in these kind of games. It is highly unusual for a team's best player to have only an assist if they win the game 5-0.
Odegaard on the other hand was rested so he did not play at all - he'd have some contributions for sure. I have Coufal stepping in for him, so I expect at least a clean sheet from WH.

Perfectly show how it is sometimes better to not do anything then rush with the transfers.

This week I went -4 because I wanted Mitoma in the squad and look how that worked out. My other transfer was Gabriel who did not even play. Only saving grace is that people I removed didn't do any better. Survived Watkins so it will be another good week for me. Come on Alvarez time to do something.

Fuck man, i was having a maginificent week with ton of points and cutting all the gaps between me and the top, but come again Haaland and put two goals and an assit so all of you scores ton of points, i was thinking today its not gonna be the day for Haaland, but seems like i was not in the correct position.
