Mateta was my pick ahead of Rice, figured it wouldn’t be an easy game against Brighton but, hope I don’t have much for regrets over picking Rice.

Why do you have both Rice and Caicedo sitting on £12.8m in your midfield though - That's not something I would do.

Rice maybe cause he's on set-piece and play more forward role but Caicedo ahead of Enzo or Neto? Nah.

I decided to sell Gyökeres before this gameweek and bought Joao Pedro. I'm happy about this move for now. Because I even captained him which brought me 14 points. 

So far he got nearly all of my points on the week. James, Van de Ven and Bowen all had a blank. I hope today gets luckier.

I know it was risky to captain someone else other than Haaland. But maybe he might surprise us in this tough match against Liverpool.

Enzo was the one that should have been a fantastic pick in Palmer's absence and turned out to be a terrible choice.
I think I'll give him Burnley but after that he's out of my team for sure.

I really might buy the Wirtz idea, but I don't mind jumping in one week late, I'd need some return before going for him, I don't know why Gakpo have been starting off the bench in the past few games, he would have been my pick, with how nailed he was for the first few games of the season.

Not captaining Haaland would have been an instant regret, if he had scored that first penalty, but even if he does score another goal, the -2 point might have just saved the day for me, especially with how Saka imo might have also been very lucky with the amount of points he scored this week.

He surprised us surely, missing that penalty and only scoring one out of the three goals Manchester City fed Liverpool with.

What a horrible weekend... Only 32 points is what I got from this GW.    There were so many poor performances this time. Even Haaland couldn't meet the expectations but I know everyone has him.

I really admire people who can collect double the points I have on such a week. Anyway, I still have a long way to go for top 7 as it seems. Thankfully we aren't even halfway in the season yet!

He's been struggling and playing with knee injury the past matches - he'll not be joining the Argentina national team for international duty. Our fixtures are not so good so after Burnley game he's gone!

What a terrible gameweek it was for me. I should be going further down the table when it is updated, even though i played my Wirldcard chip this week, what a complete waste. Arsenal assets brought me nothing, 2 points between Gabriel and Timber, and then what can i say about Semenyo and Guehi. I also had 11 points wasted on Nico O'Reilly who sat on my bench. Time for international break, so i don't have to worry about this next week, lol.

Thiago was an instant success, now I have an additional problem to face.
I just went for a player that messes with my team outlook, which means I can't bench a player that I just sold so I have to bench either Enzo or Thiago in the next GW.

Benching Enzo against the worst team in the league is difficult, benching Thiago after today even harder. The only other option is to bench Sarr - but he played great today and was unlucky not to get something out of the game.

My team looks so good for the next GW that for a second I thought 'hey, why not bench Haaland?'

Yeah i think overall everyone had a bad GW. Tottenham players destroyed me with conceding two goals just lost too many points there. Also Semenyo and Haaland missed their penalties and that costed me even more points. I think if we can call someone in this pool that has the worst luck i think that i would get that title. Only 1 GW was good for me since the start of FPL

I think the defensive contribution has actually given players like Caicedo a very big advantage, in virtually every game he takes point home for defensive contributions and he has actually had 4 attacking returns already this season (3 goals and an Assist so this figure if we look at the stats then it shows that both of the Chelsea players have nothing over him even Neto who is on the attack,

The only exception as you have mentioned is Declan rice aside him the three are similar in my opinion even if Caicedo plays more at the defense

I've got 103, a huge chunk of that value probably tied to Semenyo and Haaland, If should I ever have a reason to transfer both or either of them out I could easily lose 0.3-0.9m provided both of them neither increase nor decrease in price before then.

Bringing in Sarr for this game week all of sudden turned out to be a waste of transfer for me, lol, I had to bench Ndaiye and both of them ended with 3 points each, finally it's time for Jarrod Bowen to leave my team, it's wasn't fun while it lasted

Not really worried about it though - this season a lot more players are collecting points so I'd be comfortable switching to a more defensive (cheaper) formation near the end of the season if needed.

I have a feeling this won't be the season in which point gaps will be closed by team value. Especially if Salah keeps performing sub-par.

Damn I was surprised actually I have that good team value since I started with both Watkins and Rodgers and lost a lot on them. Looking at the league standing, only icopress is better than me in that category And I don't know why Hhampuz is lying about his value

Fuck another bad round for me, Burn taking a red card and other players underperforming, two points below average.

This can hurt in the end of the season, the only good think i made was giving the captain role to Joao Pedro isntead of Haaland in this round, since he miss the penalty and both scores only one goal it was a good decission, but it was again nearby to be a bad one like the past round when i lost so much points because of not selecting Haaland as a captain.

Now international break, lets see if anyone gets a injury and how the teams comesback.

Can't complain. Forgot to make my changes but it would have been to exit Saka and put in a defender or two. Turns out Saka delivered in the draw, and I moved a couple of places up. Really can't complain. Guess my 5FTs will be useful after this break.
