Yes, that was supposed (the expectation of everyone) to be the case until PL announced that the cup fixture that would forced the schedule alteration was move to a different date, so all match are going as planned without a DGW.

Gabriel with a groin injury, that's an automatic couple of weeks ? or best case scenario it's not as bad as feared and he'll only be out for a week, either way not sure what my choice would be, closer to the deadline or when we are sure of how severe it really is then I'll make a decision, but without him, I doubt Arsenal defense would be worth buying into as heavy as previous weeks.

Gabriel has been one of the names I've been thinking for my defense line. But that injury indeed doesn't look good. Some sources say he might be out for 4-5 weeks but nothing is certain yet.

There were 24 people who had him in our league in the last round. This could be in favour of the rest maybe. By the way Gakpo really annoys me in the recent weeks. I'm one of few people who have him. But he still can't contribute to the score.

Some physio reports I've read said he could be out for 2-3 weeks best scenario or a month and some weeks for worst case scenario- it's groin injury, same with Palmer and rushing it only risk it more. Calafiori should be okay after this weekend. I'm keeping him.

Intertnational breaks are never good,there is someone who always has to get injured and i think the big number of matches are having an effect. Well you should wait close to the deadline and see for how long he will be injured but i doubt he will play the next game so might be good to sell him

My problem with groin injury is that there is hardly a certain time for a player return, it usually depends on the grade, Gabriel holding his thigh high was a bit scary I was predicting at least a month because that’s looking like a tear but hopefully he gets back because Arsenal best bet for the title lies mostly on their defense and Gabriel is their best defender currently.

If it’s a month, it’s okay — I was thinking it would be more. But that doesn’t help me a lot; I need to replace him, and I had other plans that are unfortunately ruined. But things are not completely lost. I have two transfers, and maybe I’ll take a -4 point hit for an extra pick for Gabriel.

National team coaches are known for mismanaging players on international duties - look at James for England and for Chelsea. Enzo Mascara treats him kike an egg while Tuchel treats him like a bitch; starting every game.

He should be available after the international break, he didn't travel for national duty, he stayed back to fully recover - can't let him off before the Burnley and Leeds United game. Just can't.

He's still benched in my team - can't find a place for him. That's why I'd prefer that he doesn't play - otherwise I'll keep him on the bench and he'll get 15 points.

Joao Pedro have actually underperformed since Palmer injury but there is literally not so many options anyways so it's easier to just stick with him and save transfer... All the mid price strikers have been absolute shite this season, If I was on wildcard, I might have really considered stacking up on defenders with DefCon potential and switch to a 5-4-1 or 4-5-1 to be honest.

Huge part of my team's value is tie to Pedro and Mbeumo - teams value won't matter this season ( there's £2m stuck in bank since GW 6) by this time last season I was looking for extra 0.1m to have Halaand

Joao Pedro for me can be the second best striker if Chelsea dont fall, i mean behind Haaland he is the only one i saw with high chances of scoring a ton of goals, and he can do he already prove it, he only have some bad weeks because the team itself underperforms since Palmer went out.

Oh no! This is so not the news I had hoped to see, I have 3 of the 4 players mentioned with 1 free transfer. Now isn’t the time for me to take any point hits so, I might just depend on my bench to factor it out.

I see a 75% chance of playing across all of them @Guehi, Gabriel and Semenyo. Would hate to have any of them on the bench while they come and haul the points.
Might substitute Semenyo for Watkins though, hope he makes a statement against Leeds.

The same with my team, we have exactly the same players injured. I would wait until their respective managers press conference to know who is available and who is surely down and out. However, Gabriel is out for sure and i already replaced him with Nico O'Reilly who is having the season of his life so far. I hope pep does not 'stop' his form by putting him on the bench against Newcastle in one of his many tweaks.

O my god what is actually happening?! Semenyo out is killing me now,i just dont have the transfers to sub him out and still have bench boost to use and now i cannot use it again. Im already down bad this season and things keep getting worst. They need to remove this international games just too much. With how many injuries are coming lately one transfer each week isnt enough
