By the way (this applies to everyone)... if you are thinking about using FH in the 16th game week, then think about it twice, as everyone will have a lot of transfers, which means that prices will move very quickly and you will not be able to get an advantage in changing player prices due to the chip.

I already have VD, wanted Gakpo on my FH but after last night I'm afraid to do so. - I want to see the reactions of everyone in the pool before making my final decision.

Gakpo did well during the international break and that had me thinking his improved performance would persist in the EPL but, with a team in the shape that Liverpool is now, not a chance for any Liverpool assets on my team.

They are bad at the back, you can’t trust them to come up with those defensive points and are just as bad in their forward. There isn’t anyone to be trusted on scoring goals or creating well enough assists. Would have looked the way of Gravenberch but, the team wouldn’t aid him to any good performance.

Thank you for the support icopress. I’m still worried about the overall tournament table because I want to stay in the top ten, or even better in the top seven. What’s more, I feel like whenever I add a good player to my team, someone who has already earned a lot of points in previous weeks, he suddenly stops performing well once he’s on my team and gives only 2–3 points  . I understand that I’m probably adding him at the wrong time, but it’s still hard for me to figure out who will perform well in specific matches, because I don’t understand football as well as most players here do.

Well this time when im writing this post im gonna start to make my team since the last week when i write and try to do after the transfers i ended up missing the deadline and played with a team not so serious for that round.

Two transfers made, lets see how it goes.

While we are on that topic keep an eye on the Gambling Discussion sub board, I have another Fantasy pool coming up in a day or so. This one will be for the challenge mode of the game. Never properly tried it so this will be a nice opportunity to test it out in a bit shorter and more relaxed competition format. Maybe you get hooked to that as well.

I have just recently discovered how chips work and I am sure other newbies are learning how to navigate the system too. Overall, it has been a fun experience and a third of games have not yet been played. There is a long way to go therefore hopefully it will become more exciting.

As there is no double GW in this half as it seems it's time to use that TC on Haaland vs Leeds.    He played for less than 30 minutes vs Leverkusen which is good news for me.

I'm having second thoughts about buying Gakpo. I've had him for 4 weeks and he's always blanked... Maybe I might sell him or give him one last chance in the game vs West Ham.

It depends on if Wirtz is back or not also. But I guess he'd still be on the bench even if he returns.

Cole Palmer trained with the Chelsea squad, and he is available on Sunday. Good news for Chelsea fans and also managers who have the intention of bringing him into their teams in the next few weeks. Regarding Bournemouth, Andoni Iraola also seemed to suggest that Semenyo could be back for the Sunderland game. I am not sure if he would start the game though, so still undecided on whether to bring him back into my team or keep him on the bench.

We didn't have this pool for 10 seasons, we have it for 3 or 4 I think and I was quite successful. I think I was in the money every time and maybe won it once? I should know better but there is so many pools and leagues...

Tired legs Crystal Palace against rested Manchester United team this weekend - you gotta feel sorry for triple CP defense owners.

Is there such thing as a rested Manchester United team ?, there is no easy fixture for that team mate, they're not in Europe and they've been eliminated from every other local competition but look at where the currently are in the standings. The only time they'll probably show again is when they're a tougher opponent, they won at Liverpool, put 4 past Brighton but couldn't score against 10 men Everton. I'm definitely avoiding their assets against Palace, anyways it's already tough enough trying to pick between Bruno and Mbeumo.

I don't understand the logic behing using FH this week. Would it not be better to wait util GW19, when you can use it as a "soft-wildcard" so that you can use your actual wildcard to fix any mistakes you made in your FH?

One man food they said, initially I only made two transfers all week long and I was going to live with that decision but looking at the players that were likely going to drop price and not just having an unimpressive Caceido and Joao Pedro, alongside Bowen, I couldn't help but make multiple transfers and took a -4 points hit, which I know I'd probably regret.

One thing or another happens and managing time to carry out many different tasks becomes a problem. It is disappointing I did this again. When I initially opened the fixture list, it opened for Sunday 30th November for the midday game between Crystal Palace and Manchester United therefore I thought I had missed the deadline. When I checked it again it opened for the 3pm games today. I will try to make a change or two now.

3 FTs and what do I do? Nothing. No fancy defender. No removal of VVD. No changing of Vicario. Instead, Triple captaiiiinnnnnn! And then maybe next week a free hit. Just to clean my chips off the table before I forget and deadline arrives.

Yeah, at the Etihad, City should comfortably beat Leeds. Haaland should also get at least a brace today, but almost everyone has him in their team and captained him too, so it should make no difference for us all, lol. I have Nico O'Reilly in my team, so i hope he performs well and gives me good points, that should be a good differential for me. Guess that is the only way to gain advantage in the league, since we mostly have the same players.
