My eyes are hurting when I watch the Netherlands play against Gibraltar. Seriously, this is one of the worst teams they ever had together with the worst coach. When you lose the first game 0-4 in the qualification and then Gibraltar is coming to your home stadium and also receives a red card at the beginning of the second half, how can you only score 3 goals as the Netherlands against Gibraltar? Anyone who watched the game at least partially, they have no ideas, no dynamic game, no creative positioning, nothing. If they play like this until 2024, they have no chance. That was one of the worst games I have seen from them so far.

Netherlands is overrated by FIFA, Netherlands only a world class defenders and strikers, but they're lack of good goalkeeper and midfielders. Defenders can only make the opponent striker to hardly shot on target, but in the end goalkeeper need to save the ball. There's no good midfielders, so there's no play maker which can give a good long and short pass.

But the next Euro match will happen on September, I don't think there's will be a big change considering the players will always same.

Only 1-0 for France at the end, the game was close, was not expecting that considering the difference between the teams.

I can't really tell what's up with the French side, is like they're not the team that played the world cup finals despite the fact that they lost but they're suppose to continue that amazing form, scoring goals non stop, imagine struggling with Ireland at 48th place  in the FIFA world ranking and they [France] at 3th, is just hilarious in there performance very unimpressive. To me  0-1 is not a comfortable win with the kind of players the French side have, wasn't expecting that score line though.

Maybe, their top priority was to secure those 3 points, and they managed it. But it was certainly a hard-fought victory for France. The Irish team put up a tough challenge, playing well but unfortunately luck was not in their favor. It's worth giving a special shout-out to France's new goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, as his incredible saves helped to secure the win. Without him, they would have lost the game. It's fair to say that Ireland held the upper hand through out the game. Overall, it was an entertaining game.

It was very impressive of Wales to force a draw upon Croatia even when they are playing without their star player Gareth Bale who had retired from professional football. With Turkey and Croatia placed in Group D, Wales might need to focus on gaining more points whenever they are playing at their home stadium as it will be a tough task to compete for the top 2 spots in Group D. Wales will play against Latvia at the comfort of their home stadium in the next upcoming match and I guess Wales should be able to claim a victory at the final whistle.

Well I was not impressed at all by Poland yesterday despite them winning 1-0 against Albania,they were not that spirited and they did not create dangerous attacks,the goal was just luck,the ball hit the post and got back to a Poland striker,beside that Poland just kept defending and they were playing at their home.

Nevertheless the biggest surprise of the evening yesterday night was without a doubt Czech Republic not being able to win against Moldova at Moldova home,the odd of them was 1.18 to win,this shows that the ball is round and that we should not bet based on odds but based on our knowledge.

Ireland can play very well, especially at home. Just as often, they focus on playing on the defensive, and the Ireland team itself is not very productive, so there are not very many goals in matches with their participation. Of course, it was important for France to get three points, they did an excellent job with the task. Sometimes the matches can be more difficult, but in the end, the score is not so important, as received points.

I don't think Netherlands are in anyway overrated going by the quality of players in their possession who have been dishing out great performances across European Leagues week in week out.
Their major problem I think is management and they'll start getting good results the day Dutch national team begins to play  like a united team with same style of football. Ronald Koeman need to do better and despite their 3:0 win last night he needs to restore the total football(tiki-taka) that the Dutch national team is known for

Actually pretty interesting to see a German national team defence without a single FC Bayern player. Let's see if we will see this defense at EURO2024 as well. I dare to doubt it a little bit. Even if the current line-up describes the problems of the German national team quite well. Maybe there just isn't enough quality at the moment. Let's be honest... a Kehrer who now plays for Westham or a Ginter who transferred to Freiburg are of course not the players with whom you win big tournaments.

However, maybe they'll prove me wrong. In any case, Hansi Flick still has a lot of work ahead of him as coach of the German national team.

Today's game against Turkey is really an important one. It could in the end decide which country will finish the qualification round first. The place is not that important because two nations from each group will qualify but Croatia needs to win this one after ending up with s draw in the last game.

What about the game Scotland vs. Spain? That could be a good game to watch. Both teams won their first games with the same score (3:0), although Spain had a little stronger opponent in Norway. When looking at the rest of the teams in the group, this game is also a game for the first place in the group.

I have never watched any of the matches from Georgia and therefore I don't know much about them. But then, I know that Norway is a one-man army led by Erling Håland. The question is whether one good player and 10 average players can get them over another team, that is consisted of 11 average players. BTW, Turkey vs Croatia match is going to be interesting. I still believe that Croatia will win by a good margin, but the Turks are always unpredictable. On their day, they can beat anyone within the UEFA confederation, and this time they do have the advantage of playing at home.

I don't think Georgia will win against Norway today even though they plays in their land but anything could happen, In the other side Croatia vs Turkey is a big game today to watch. I think it'll be a close game since both teams are really good and the odds are a bit into Croatia to win the game but in my opinion i would say that Turkey will win this and be the first in the group with 6 points.

Netherland did so well, they deserve the win because they worked well for it even though I expected more from them, but whatever my expectation from them is, it centers in wining which they did. Gibraltar tried but I think there is a problem with the team, it could be from the coach or the players because they had no shot on target for the whole 90' minutes, no shot off target, no blocked shot, no corner kick. Gibraltar team have a lot of team work to do. And Netherlands will need to work  on their midfield for a better play in their next match.

For me that goal which Croatia conceded in the last minute saved my bet. I played x2 and already marked that one as a loss when that unexpected goal happened. Wales was nowhere to be found until that last minute when everyone was just waiting for the final whistle.

Today my money is on Croatia because after that draw they must win. Everyone was talking about getting six points from two games so I expect Croatia to attack Turkey.

The statistics for the Netherlands vs Gibraltar match clearly illustrate how the two teams are very different in quality, not a single shot on goal was made for Gibraltar as well as corner kicks and their ball possession was only 13%, but the Netherlands could only score 3 goals it's not good performance should be more than that.

Yes, I agree that match statistics show a significant difference in quality between the two teams. However, football matches cannot always be predicted based solely on statistics. Although the Netherlands dominated in terms of possession and shooting, they struggled to score more goals due to other factors such as the tactics and performance of the opposing players. What's more, Gibraltar performed well in the match despite the red card, despite being considered the weaker team overall. The Netherlands must try to improve their game so they can perform even better in the next match.

And Poland can only win with 1 goal from Albania, it doesn't look like a strong team, Poland only benefits because it is in a relatively easy group because Poland and Czech will have the chance to qualify

However, in my opinion, the results of a match do not always reflect the strength of a team. In addition, being in a relatively easy group also cannot be used as a benchmark to qualify easily. Because each team has its own advantages and disadvantages and these can appear in every match. In addition, there are also various factors that can affect the outcome of the match, such as player fitness, the tactics used and the luck factor. Even so, I also believe Poland can qualify.

@rdluffy Croatia one was indeed a hard one to digest, but I’m glad to see that you were able to move into a positive zone and you didn’t chase your loss by wagering aggressively. Also the odds is kinda low on Spain but then it was expected, because they’re the favourites to win this fixture and I personally believe that they’ll comfortably win this fixture hence I would term it as a safe bet.

I don't know what happened to the Czech Republic in that game. They have wasted too many opportunities they get. although they gamely continued to dominate the game the entire time. but being held to a draw by Moldova was really beyond my expectations. The Czech Republic played very well against Poland. the accuracy of the czech republic players really shocked Poland. even though Poland had more of the ball, they had difficulty penetrating the defense of the Czech Republic. and I think the Czech Republic should have won by more goals against Moldova yesterday. but yeah sometimes football matches are always surprising and sometimes things don't go as expected.

first thing when I saw this pair was a setback to some knock-out match, cannot remember exact tournament, when there was two goals in last minutes of overtime, and Turkey knocked-out Croatia
maybe you can recall it better which tournament that was

but I believe that Croatia has good chances tonight, especially taking into account that Turkey is not that good in last decade, nevertheless overall Croatia and Turkey will probably qualify from this group
