Bitcoin has the potential to play in PayPal's league, but Bitcoin will never become a global currency. I do not believe in the moon stuff.
I am not agree with you. My opinion is one of crypto currencies will be used as global currency and will be officially accepted in many countries. Even now bitcoin is used over the world, so you can count it as global currency today, not in some far future.

Yes no doubt but there are few things which one must keep in mind.
1) Global Economy - Although BTC is heading towards major player in global economy on the other hand it is acquiring the place of national currency, Which is not good for the economies on micro level. No taxes, no government revenue, no funds for citizens (and yes corruption will not be monopoly of governments).
2) Thugs - If Nigerian spammers can thug us even while using mainstream currencies they will be able to thug us in these virtual currencies too. In fact having global existence and operations of the currency is advantage for them.
3) Misuse - Global phenomenon is also an advantage for the terrorists around the world. If bitcoin is making us more powerful so to them also.
I things governments will play huge role in the evolution and growth of these currencies.

I things governments will play huge role in the evolution and growth of these currencies. No they wont. Gvt, didn't have anything to do with inventing or building bitcoin, they don't know shit about it, they are lazy, slow, inefficient, greedy and fuck up everything they touch. Govts can only make bitcoin worse, they should stay well away from it or it will destroy them faster.

The bitcoin is becoming a global currency but I think this is good and that it will succeed in doing this with some time. Its just that it has to stay growing and that it will be done without any doubts.

the government will always be enemies for bitcoin because from my point of view they will never be able to gain access to control the circulation of transactions that made with bitcoin therefore the Government tried to make a counter bitcoin under the control of the bank.

[/quote] Yeah.Central banks and regulators around the world are afraid cryptocurrency due to a lack of controls. First, they are concerned about uncontrolled emissions, or rather the inability to influence the emission center, because it is not - release cryptocurrency depends on the system (number of participants, the mathematical model), but not on economic conditions and interests of central banks.

Not yet, because we're still in a phase where bitcoin is still being known known. We're still developing and I hope the progress will be quick so that our dream that bitcoin will be a global curreny will happen.

yes in the near future bitcoin is becoming a global currency, because bitcoin is not backed by gold either, but unlike traditional currency, there is a maximum limit of value to be “created out of thin air”. Once the supply cap of 21 million Bitcoin has been reached – at some point in 2140 – no more coins will be generated. According to most investors, Bitcoin is a superior investment vehicle, as scarcity usually leads to an increase in value.

I think that bitcoin can reach this goal only when USA or other big country will accept bitcoin as legal currency, at my opinion after this event other countries will do the same.

As the halving just approach, the amount we get by solving a block is half-ed, so it shows that the Bitcoins are getting more limited, and as you say the when the thing is less in amount it has high value and worth..., so the Bitcoin are also getting a better price, I think after a certain year we would be lucky to have a coins on our wallet, Its a good investment and BTC has high chances of being global currencies....

Just remember when something becomes legal then there should be someone behind that is controlling it. And I dont think many of us would want that. We are here for a free currency.

With bitcoin outperforming other currencies, it's become very attractive for new investors to step in. As long there is more profit to be made with bitcoin then another currency it can attract a lot of new money.

I can consider bitcoin as the second currency in each country or global digital currency and I agree if it wont die it can be an international currency.

Yes but more adoption does not mean becoming a global currency but it can mean more bitcoin users.

the strength of Bitcoin as a global currency is the inherent weaknesses in the US dollar going forward. Global support and confidence in the dollar is fading while Bitcoin is continuing its rise.

You are absolutely right, we are now in the era where digital currency will prosper and with bitcoins gaining some kind of good trust from the people we will surely surpass the popularity of dollars in the future.

It's not becoming a Global Currency. It's the first step to it, the Global Currency will have a different name, a different way to obtain it, will have taxes and will work much easier than Bitcoin does. We will have Smart Wallets through which we can share our money to each other, and the biggest difference between these two is the anonymity. There will be NO anonymity, we will all be surveilled more than we are when using banks and ATMs and transactioning online. I don't think the governments like the idea of anonymity.
