Sooner or later bitcoin is going to be global currency as we can many sites and even stores accepting bitcoins.But there are some issues need to be fixed to make it more acceptable to people in general such as more secured transaction etc.The main goal should be gaining trust and more publicity.If this can be done, bitcoin is definitely gonna make some revolutionary change.Now all we can do now is to wait and hope for best.

It does not matter if Bitcoin is legal, if no merchants accepted Bitcoin, then it is useless as a currency. Only if people and store start to use it massively, only then it will become a currency and useful. To be honest, i do not see this happening anytime soon if ever.

technology is pretty good but would need some improvement. but I'm sure there will be many people who will adopt  and probably also some countries as well. maybe a few more decades

I suggest do not expect much from the bitcoin, to become the global currency of course there's a deal many countries, I never thought that all countries will agree, surely they'll bitcoin analyze pros and cons bitcoin. And also, there is definitely a long time socializing, because it introducing a new currency system for 6 billion world population isn't easy.

That's what I'm thinking too, Bitcoin is an alternate currency online and also an alternative method on processing our payments. So it will not replace the fiat money of every country, there is only an adaptation but not replacement.

It will certainly go to that direction, we are all expecting that and with the increasing adoption, the demand will also increase. I am sure overtime people will be more aware about the new technology and eventually they will accept it as the government also recognizes it.

As long as the Bitcoin keep increasing and developing, there will be the possibility for it to replace the USD. However, I doubt that it could happen since many people are not really get into Bitcoin. They are still very obsolete and they do not want to accept Bitcoin into their daily life.

That's right today in era of centralized money we all are looking for a way to skip the system away. Bitcoin is appeared in the right time in the year of the world's financial crisis (2008), it's decentralized and bitcoin users are only people who can control bitcoin.

Need a long road to becoming a global currency, the main issues currently are users still don't fully trust the bitcoin system with bitcoin. Many of the problems often encountered, for example stock bitcoin limited so difficult to spread throughout the world population reaches 6 billion currently.

Yes it is accepted in many countries in the world but does it make it the Global Currency? I mean do people prefer now paying in Bitcoin rather than cash? I think not because people still dominantly use Fiat currency and Bitcoin is still some kind of option to them. Can you name one company that only accepts Bitcoin as payment? If there is than that is the time that Bitcoin is the global currency.
