I agree with you that Real Sociedad can beat any big team if they give themselves. But I can't call Real Sociedad team strong this season. Their performance is quite erratic. In 21 La Liga matches, Sociedad team won 9 matches and drew 8 matches. We haven't seen a very good performance from Sociedad. And Sociedad are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.

PSG team on the other hand is strong now. Luis Enrique has managed to minimize the team's internal problems to a great extent. And now the understanding between PSG players is very good. The overall performance of the team is now stronger because of the better bond between the players. And so I think PSG will not lose against Sociedad.

I'm surprised at how complex people think this match between PSG and Real Sociedad in the Champions League knockout phase will be. I was initially of the opinion that PSG would have a better chance and probability of winning the match than Real Soceidad because of their experience in the competition and the big name quality team they've been for many years.

Your thoughts on how Real Soceidad has gotten to this point, how they were able to eliminate some big clubs in the group stage of the competition and also make it to the top four spot last season, are something to think about and give them hope that they will be able to beat PSG. At this point, all I can say is that the match will be extremely difficult, and that the team with the best strategy employed in this match will win.

We can put psg ahead in going to the next round but I won't say that psg will go to the next round for sure. I have seen many matches where one team has a very high chance of winning and that team has a very high chance of going to the next round but due to a small mistake they cannot go to the next round. PSG is currently one of the most consistent performers in the France league, so PSG are more likely to advance to the next round if they don't make any mistakes.

PSG are more popular than Real Sociedad. Even if PSG is not performing well, they cannot be compared to Real Sociedad, and I believe PSG will do their best to defeat Real Sociedad in the Champions League round of 16. I agree. There is nothing to be shocked about. Barcelona are having a much worse season than the previous one. They are weaker especially in defense as they have conceded more than enough goals so far. They are going to face Napoli which have really effective attackers. Especially Osimhen is a huge threat you know.

I expect to see many goals in this matchup first of all. If Napoli manage to get a decent win home first then I think they won't let Barcelona turn things around. Maybe Napoli are also not the same as their previous season version. But I believe they are good enough to get past Barcelona. 

They have no good enough defensive midfielder and also true defensive lineup for a player like Araujo shouldn't be seen anymore on that line up this season.
Ye should have seen him lined up for the club transfer and players to be loaned out but who am I to suggest such a word? Though they'll be against one of the hottest sides in Italian Seria A from last season ( Napoli )

Once a big team, always a big team. PSG is far better Real Sociedad in terms of everything including the quality of players. You are right. PSG's team man is better than Real Sociedad. If we compare the squads of these two teams, it is clear that PSG has more talented and star players than Sociedad. PSG's squad is strong. And since Luis Enrique became coach, he has tried to strengthen the bonding between the players in the squad. And I'd say he's quite successful. PSG's gameplay is now much more organized and regular than at the start of the season. For these reasons, I consider PSG to be the favorite against Sociedad. When it come to the Champions League football, I don't consider PSG as a big team with big name anymore because of several disappointments they have caused in the past. They will be winning first leg with hope of finishing the stage up with some outstanding performance in the second leg, but they usually gave a bad performance which usually led to their elimination in the tournament almost all seasons. This season, their players are not too good compared to some previous seasons back, they only have Mbappe as a star player, that is why I don't expect them to have an easy game against Real Sociedad that has an outstanding performance in their group stage matches.

Actually what happened in the group stage isn't that big of a deal, it's behind us now. I think their meeting at home to Leipzig will end in either a draw or a Real win. There are too much talk about this all with no quick solution is going to happen which is surely headache for the management which is responsible for this all as their wrong decisions and wrong use of money now having serious troubles for them even their current situation is still not bad, but they need to fix these problems for the better future of this legendary club which is now near the collapse due to having debit of $1.5 Billion which is surely huge and need some serious intention from all.
