We are very happy to announce our latest merchant: Lasercity.

LaserCity has been the trusted address in South-Holland for the last three years for the removal and fading of tattoos. But also pigmentation, birthmarks and age spots. LaserCity also offers lasering of onychomycosis and permanent hair removal through I.P.L.

Nice suprise!  Wink

Well done guys! I think it's great to see that GuldenCoin not only attracts more offline Merchants, but also the variety of business of the Merchants increases!

This coin is getting better and better. I'm looking forward to see even more online and offline Merchants.

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}

This new merchant LaserCity came by itself to join. That is a good sign!

The new guldencoin.com website is explaining things way better now for merchants that are considering to join. I think we will see this more often that merchants will contact guldencoin by themselves.

https://guldencoin.com/nl/accept
https://guldencoin.com/accept

In the meantime promotion via stickers on Eurocoins goes on, scan-me stickers are being placed at busy places by some and soon posters will be placed in the bigger cities at billboards.

Really amazing to see how this coin creates a waterfall of news even during the Dutch holidays:

- many newsitems in de media
- new offline merchant
- active community (promotion in many different ways, new website guldencointrader.nl)
- active devs (new wallet update/strong communication)
- and so much more!

One of these days this coin wil start growing very big fast and with real usage in daily life.

Well, one advice, buy some and join this community!

If you speak Dutch just have a look at guldencoinforum.nl
Mining pools are also mentioned on the main page (no 1) of this topic and you should have a look at https://services.guldencoin.com/

Futher more, all questions you can put here for sure!

So.. 1.650 GH/s and a diff of 54... Lets take a look at where them coins are going.
First let me say again that looking at coinbase addresses is not a 100% safe method to identify miners.
Having said that, these numbers do match somewhat to the one's displayed by hardcoreminers.

GND is the hardcoreminers address.
GdD is a mystery miner.

Large part of the hashing power is not covered by pools. I also saw some attempts to double spend coming by this morning in the guldencoind logs (not sure if they were successful). Everybody watch out with payments!

and a few more...

</edit>

I was expecting this to happen at some point. The altcoin world is also for a large part controlled by Crypto Mafia , when a coin that is doing real good they will see it as a threat and try destroy it.
Be prepared for backup plan.

I think it was due to sudden huge rise in hashingpower and for a while it was possible due to spike in blocktime and after that fast blockfind for a while. Blocktime stabilising again. Don't think it is on purpose to destabilise NLG. But maybe I am wrong. The few big miners though are doing good bussiness and getting most of the coins. But in general I think it is not to worrie so much about.

When I look at https://seeds.guldencoin.com/#/dashboard I see where not on the same blockheight .
What does this mean?

Do you mean the wallet and those seeds or are the seeds not equal?
About seeds: If there is 1 block difference it could be that it didnt propagate yet, can take a couple of seconds.

My pool http://nlg.hardcoreminers.com is on the same height as of now as those seeds, checked just in case..

They are all on the same height again my bad. And I meant the seeds. Some where 1 block behind never seen it before that's why I asked. Grin

Ok good. There might be some seconds delay in all the different wallets, even the BTC network isnt fully in sync all the time. It could be that i receive a block and that you receive the same block 4 seconds later or viceversa. For a coin that has a blocktime of 30+ seconds it does not really matter. If a coin has 5 second blocktime it might get in trouble when there are such delays ...

Ok nice to know. When do you have a bonus again cause with this high hashes my earnings drop real fast  Undecided. Just joking Grin
