Well I managed to get over 100 000 NLG at 100, so thanks to whoever that was. Let them try keep dumping

People just dont be dumb enough to sell your coins for under a certain amount because then that person gets to buy back for even cheaper and do the same thing next time.

My Guess though is that we have been listed on one of the POS coins multipools and they dumping out on NLG to support there coins prices.

It is the most solid and haven't even bothered to look at other coins once I stumbled on this one. It is lacking exposure and the effort they put in for us as a small community shows me that NLG
is here to stay. I salute this community and team.

What's the status of mintpal voting now, is there any point since other coins are just using bots to vote with? Maybe we should try for Cryptsy instead?

The way I see it NLG will need to get onto Mintpal by being awesome and gaining popularity... and it won't be good to cheat to get onto minptal, everyone with half a brain knows the coins listed over the last 3 - 4 weeks have all been really bad coins offering nothing and tiny communities, however mintpal can't tell if they are botting because they use 100s of traded accounts and change IPs for votes.

Sorry to say but I dissagree completely aboute the exchange stuff. look at the trading thats going on. There is only 1.4 BTC buy power on Bittrex, and a substantial part of it is from a very few persons, the other exchanges are stalled or nearly stalled. The team does a great job in gaining attention and the NLGCUP is an awesome example of their ceativity, but we need buyers and believe me you don't find them on Mintpal. So instead of trying to get listed on Mintpal is of much more importance at this moment to get people "on board". Look at the posters on this ANN, how many different people do you count? Look at the hashrate, how many miners do really mine this coin? How many pools are really mining this coin? The miners are the foundation of a POW coin so as long as there is no stable foundation, forget the exchanges stuff. Pools, Attention, Miners and if there is a stable base you can start to think about other exchanges.

+1 NLG is not that expensive yet,who would wanna buy,should buy now..

I think people need to look at this coin with a long term view although I think there will be short term gains too if you into that, as long as the community keeps growing steadily and the team behind it keeps working on the coin like it has, when media attention finally hits in a big way there will be a lot going for NLG at this point. There is a lot of coins that get media attention to boost price but you can't even use them for anything. Coins that boast this and that feature but no merchant adoption. NLG is getting itself into the public realm with merchants like De Prins and Subways.

Quality things take time to build and the same goes for cars/building etc etc.

Ok you mentioned some good points, I'll try to explain..

I guess the problem is that a lot of nt miners wainstant profits, NLG is long term and not really interesting for them atm because of ROI. The price needs to go up before they start to be interested. The ones that are currently mining are doing that because they believe in the coin, not because of best instant profits. They'll get their profits later. No doubt about that.

As you mentionedm, the team is indeed doing very well and also took some efforts to promote in the past, which resulted in several shops to adopted guldencoin. As the developers stated some days ago,they're working on an improved payment system , which'll be quite important when attracting the big media attention. Attracting media attention for now, before the system is fully ready, wouldn't be really smart I think.

The thing we, as a community, can do for now is convincing miners that guldencoin is a good long term investment. We could do this by telling them about the shops that currently accept guldencoin or by directing them to nlgcup.com

If you're indeed following guldencoin from the start, have a bit more patient and things'll turn out to be good   I'm convinced about that.

That's what they call 'long term', Anatavoc   but of course you could try to help the community while sitting

NLG was pretty stable and low key till someone decided a couple of weeks ago that it would be fun to give it some hits and after that a constant selling pressure of aprox. 50% of the daily mining.
With that in mind the coin is performing pretty well, even the hit of this afternoon when someone dumped more than 2 times the daily mining value was absorbed pretty quick. As you say it's better then 95% of the others but this coin has to mature first. A motherduck does not put her breed in a pond of pikes to start with... So as a community we can mine the coins, trade a bit, absorb the hits, and the devteam will surprise us with their ideas.
