Brilliant guys, definitely enough range of items to use our Guldens on now and then buy back more to replace what we have spent.

Superb work by Guldencoin! Having bookstore https://1boek.nl/ accepting NLG is a great addition to the growing number of online merchants. Cheers!

Let them offline Merchants come . I think I'm going to point my ASIC towards GuldenCoin as soon as I've got it. However, it looks like it may take some time.. (-> Fibonacci). Well done people! Please list all the offline aswell as the online Merchants somewhere, for example in the first post of this topic. I'm sure this will attract even more people to GuldenCoiN!
Edit: Now i see this already happens. Obviously missed this.

At that time, please use one of the smaller mining pools. This way we can track the hash distribution better and react when there is an attack on the network.

Yes thats correct, you can pay for sandwiches, fries, books, botox, tattoo removal, websites, playing cards, servers and more... 14 that I know of, 9 online and 5 brick-and-mortars. Or did I miss two? Haha.

Would this mean NLG would be the first altcoin to have a standalone iOS wallet, if that is the case that would be Big News and get guldencoin a lot of publicity.
Another question, would having a iOS wallets bring in merchants faster ?

I am completely OK with this entire thing. Great price and will put us even more on the map, both with traders, miners and merchants and users. Full circle people. Full circle.

I think this is the best use of a premine I have ever seen and just shows if a premine is used right it can contribute a lot. I will contribute towards this as I believe it can only be a good thing! What other development needs to be done in order for the team and community to focus more time on merchants and business?

What other development needs to be done in order for the team and community to focus more time on merchants? Well of course development is never done and we are working on many projects, so that wont change. But I think we can all agree that an iOS wallet is necessary for real use in the Netherlands. From our own experience and we've had a lot of talks with businesses in Amsterdam, the big question is always: Alright how can my customers pay? It looks like a iOS wallet must be difficult to make as I tried seeing if other coins have one and they don't, would it not be better for another coin to make one and we just copy it because they will just copy our iOS wallet and we spent the money paying for it.

It looks like a iOS wallet must be difficult to make as I tried seeing if other coins have one and they don't, would it not be better for another coin to make one and we just copy it because they will just copy our iOS wallet and we spent the money paying for it. We've investigated all possible options for the last weeks and breadwallet is the most secure and userfriendly wallet, however there is no other scrypt coin that uses it, so we have to make it ourselves. With that in mind we've contacted more than 30 iOS developers and received offers from 4000 up to 12000 euro. Then we got in touch with an iOS dev from the Netherlands who is very interested in our project and crypto in general and he is willing to build this for 3000 euro. The iOS wallet for NLG will also be branded for us so any coin copying the iOS wallet would have a lot of work to do. Also if we had to copy another coins iOS wallet it would still cost quite a bit. Potentially being the 1st altcoin to have a standalone iOS wallet we will make crypto history even for scrypt and will get the coin much deserved attention. We also have 1 merchant that will accept us straight away for having a iOS wallet and this is a merchant you really want in the Netherlands. So there is a lot at stake and I personally believe will have a positive effect on the price and we can always boast about having the first scrypt iOS wallet. With the above being said the most important thing for us is to speed up merchant adoption especially going into the last 1/4 of this year. A iOS wallet will give us a full suite of tools to move forward with NLG.

Doesn't the developer want one half in NLG and the other half in Euro?

I was going to ask the same thing. EDIT: I am willing to give 1btc at 130 Sat rate, if this is acceptable I will arrange for this by monday, it's still 30% more then current market value.

Whilst I get the idea of selling only 4m NLG, if you were to put up 6m at 113 SAT each, you're a LOT closer to the current market price, and you'll get your BTC in no time.
I would worry about how many will want to spend out BTC that much over the going market rate - even though it's for the greater good.
