What difficulty should I use? Is it same as other pools? 1 for sub 2ghash miner?

yes
with higher diff you would generate higher variance for you

Great pool doublec,

Only been on it a short while but the low number of users = more significant payouts (was getting bored of earning small amounts per block on the larger pools).

The alt coins are a brilliant addition and I'm sure more people will start to use your pool as a result.

Good luck for all in the pool.

A difficulty of 1-2 per ghash is reasonable I think.

Hi there. I'm looking for new primary pool. Just like to know. Is page work in progress and you will add some more user data or is that it. I'm used to have user page, last rounds data, send shares per worker, API for my mobile phone and computer to see if something went wrong and so on...
Yes there's more to come with regards to stats and work on the pool. If you search in the Android Play store you'll see a Bitparking app with widget that a contributor created. I'm planning to use Pushover for notifications of workers going offline - it's what I use myself for block notifications and the pool being down. Lately it's been a rush to get Stratum going, then transitioning from PPS. Now I hope to get some time to improve other things.
What you did with stratum is what got me interested so I do understand. I can live with what you have if I know it will get better.

EDIT: But I must say I like what I see even at diff 16...

I know the app is not your business - already reported to the developer:
namecoins are missing i=coin still in
and biggest problem for me: the widget permanently crashes on HTCs Sence

but the website is so lightweight that there is nor problem in using it on a mobile device

d=1 must be the passwd for the pool

maybe you were lucky;)

Less is more imo, and the simple signup that cannot be altered thereafter is a work of genius. Removes much of the 'security' issues that complicate other pools.  If this information is then stored read only somewhere  it's perfect Smiley

One piece of feedback I do have however is the very basic HTML template (default HTML tables etc..) could do with a spruce up Smiley  Something with a bit more visual appeal *may* even help to attract more people to the pool! Although it makes no difference to me Smiley

If it's of interest I could knock up a nice little responsive design and chop it into HTML for you?

Now that I look at it it is logical before that I thought it is a mistake:)

Well I do have 2,4 ghashes on 2 miners so... And 1ghash still offline(fan problem on one card and failure on the other still in warranty).

Try WebSnap or WidgetMaker. They allow taking snapshots of websites and putting them on a widget on your homescreen that is regularly updated. They're pretty neat. I use them for monitoring some internal pool data.

I took it down because someone complained that it was lagged and missing shares. I can bring it back if there's interest.

Hello,

I've been trying BitParking recently, I had problems with it before because I was earning nothing, zip. I read the whole thread there and found out about the issue with previous versions of cgminer. I was using the binary coming with the 50miner.org package for Windows, and I can confirm that the version in this package is still incompatible with BitParking stratum server (no big deal here, just wanted to mention it if it can help someone else).

I am very happy with the pool so far, and I'm just waiting for that next block to be found right now ;-)

Overall this would be the wishlist that comes to my mind:

  • Add separate sub-accounts by worker
  • Protect accounts with password + 2FA to allow for withdrawal address changes
  • Include the collected mining fees of each block in the payout
  • A nice, responsive design web interface

I would be willing to pay an extra, say, 2% for that.

One last thing, some people still like PPS despite higher fees (e.g. BTC Guild), maybe it should come back so the pool would be more attractive for low-rate miners?

At any rate, thanks to the pool operator for this unique MM pool.

I must say that in 6 hours I earn more NMC then in days with Slush. We just need some luck to find BTC block and I will be a happy camper. For now I must say that pool is better then I thought. It looks like it has much more statistic that I thought. But since it is under your username I couldn't know that.

FYI: I recently moved from slush also and after letting things even out a bit i'm getting the same amount of btc + alt coins... just need to wait a few days for the higher payouts to balance out fewer blocks found.

Sure, I'd be interested. I have zero design skills
But then stick to strictly HTML-only, please.  Wink
The main reason I'm mining at bitparking is it's completely free from ajax, jquery, popup windows, cookies, animated GIFs. 0% PHP, by the way.

Choose a "high" security setting in your browser, and the user interface of most pools breaks in pieces.
Only slush, deepbit and bitparking still useable.
Then deactivate cookies. Slush and deepbit are done. Bitparking still works.

Security aware net user, you don't get too many of us these days Smiley Hope you've removed Java too (0-day heaven these days : )

I will supply straight HTML and leave the rest up to doublec.. he may even hate what I put together and not use it.. his pool, his choice Smiley
