Bitparking could set the xss header
I've added the CORS access control header to the user and blockstats page. Let me know if that helps. Thanks, I have tweaked the code https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=57148.msg2574431#msg2574431 - auto page refresh now works with every browser I tried, Chrome, FF, IE, Safari, Opera. [EDIT] works now that you have set the xss header - we still needed that...

I don't get why more peeps don't mine here. The pool hashrate is falling as the difficulty rises so our blocks are coming fewer and farther apart. But DGM and merged mining is awesome so it seems like we would have more miners up in this hizzy. What gives?

+1 OP could do well to stick this up top: First create new account on https://vircurex.com/register?referral_id=350-195 and active addresses for NMC, DVC, IXC (these are alt coins you get when you mine BTC on bitparking). Then register on bitparking http://mmpool.bitparking.com/register with the vircurex addresses (and your BTC address). Then run cgminer like this: cgminer -o http://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -o stratum+tcp://mmpool.bitparking.com:3333 -u USERNAME -p d=1 JFDI

I don't get it either. I let my CPU crunch away on ltc, and point the GPU towards DGM merged mining. Win/win to me.

allot have left because the min withdraw rate is too high, especially with the difficulty getting high and price dropping, bitcoin mining now is only feasible for asic miners, while gpu miners turn their attention to scrypt.

Low hashrate and/or bad luck means high variance, high variance pushes people away, people leaving means lower hashrate: positve feedback loop. :/ One of the most recent rounds took 50+ hours, and the current one is at 30+ hours. This is a good pool but I think a lot people (including myself) feel safer going with a pool with less variance due to the huge and more frequent network difficulty spikes. (Also IXC and DVC are practically worthless and there are a few other good NMC merged pools which makes switching pools easier. (Although 'practically worthless' doesn't mean worthless and I like the fact that this pool offers them. )) I could see myself switching back here once the network difficulty stabilizes a bit and/or the payout variance decreases.

I just switched my miners to PPC. If bitparking makes a second pool with PPC as the main chain with others merging, I will be mining there right now.
In a day or two (usually all the premium lasts for), I'll be switching back.

?? to save 3 clicks? I'm not sure we'll ever get the time back that you wasted posting about your desire for the withdraw all... If we're debating about efficiency, heh.

Awesome pool, wish withdraw all works soon
Don't know what your needs are, but I set up a simple script to withdraw all my coins by using wget to pull the withdraw page. I have cron run the script every day at midnight and never have to worry about withdrawing anymore. #!/bin/sh USERNAME=whatever_your_username_is wget -O /dev/null http://mmpool.bitparking.com/withdrawCoin/$USERNAME/bitcoin wget -O /dev/null http://mmpool.bitparking.com/withdrawCoin/$USERNAME/devcoin wget -O /dev/null http://mmpool.bitparking.com/withdrawCoin/$USERNAME/ixcoin wget -O /dev/null http://mmpool.bitparking.com/withdrawCoin/$USERNAME/namecoin
(normally wget creates a file of the page it downloaded. In this case it would be the page that says "x coins withdrawn" or whatever. -O /dev/null should prevent wget from creating these files)

Is it possible? My understanding is yes. I think we mentioned it a few pages ago. It's just not top on the priority list right now. However, when there's 30-40% extra premium available, I like to share that information as well as offer my business to DoubleC, cuz he's awesome. I also like to reassure him that I'll be back as soon as the premium is gone.

You know I'm not real versed in the details of how DGM works but it looks to me like the pool pays more than the block reward on the long blocks. And since everything is a long block these days that seems unsustainable.

If Bytecoin had a merge mining patch applied, would you consider adding it?

Wouldn't that go against what Bytecoin is supposed to be, which is a copy of bitcoin? Bitcoin cannot be merge mined, correct?

You mine Bitcoin alongside the devcoin and namecoin correct with Bitparking? Isn't that merge mining? Sorry, let me be more clear. You can't mind bitcoin as a secondary chain to another coin, correct? So if you can mine bytecoin as a secondary coin with bitcoin as primary, then bytecoin is no longer a true copy of bitcoin, which was it's intentions. I have no problem adding it, but then it's something different than it was intended... that's the only point I'm making. So in a way, no - bitcoin cannot be merged mined... unless I'm wrong... hah
