Question..

Keccack hashing is supported by ASIC and GPU mining software (cgminer, and a modified sph-sgminer respectively).

What protection does BBR have against stuff like 1THs mining asic's in terms of both securing the network, and ensuring fair distribution of coins among general population rather than a few BIG wallets?

I don't know what the different from Keccack and Wild Keccak, perhaps they are different.

Me either, thats why I asked Smiley  Hoping zoidberg will give a reply.

They are entirely different.  Wild Keccak is closer to scrypt-N than to previous keccak-based coins that use purely a calculation-based hash.

http://boolberry.com/index.html#hash

It incorporates random bouncing through previous blockchain hashes during PoW computation.  The result is that it does random access to an amount of memory that grows linearly with time.

And to be clear, you can only have an alias created by a miner where you issued the make_alias command AND that miner then must find a block. If it doesn't, then it won't get created.

I agree.

These guys are not ready for prime time.

Great technology, poor delivery.

Lets help them out.  That goes for all the Cryptonote coins.

So price has tumbled because BBR is extremely profitable to mine? Is there no difficulty adjustment to counter this?

Please provide a URL that shows the total number of coins in real time.

If want to be added on coinmarketcap.com, they need this.

Thanks.

Nothing wrong with the name.

The reason the price fell is because people saw happened to QCN and FCN and panic sold as the BBR price fell - the price is now rising and, imo, will stabilise somewhere between MRO ans QCN.

The dev for this coin is one of the best I have come across, so it will all come good soon.

Why not go with the original name Boolean, less syllables and more fluid.

Nope, there have been looooong thread discussions about the name and the dev has settled on Boolberry, which I think is the right thing to do - we've moved on from this subject.

The name is fine.  And I would like to apologize to the Dev for my criticism.  It's just that some of us have money invested in these endeavors
