All my blocks popped using the new wallet.

I see the point about enough CPU for the job.  My poor old P4 just works so hard.  Installing the wallet and transferring my diamonds to my dual core machine.

Danbi's working on optimising the code for better performance so even oldies like yours should do great.

Well you could always buy DMD.  Which is the point.  As some point the value of DMD is heading north.   Supply/Demand.   Supply is shrinking....

Unfortunately, you ll never have a good price anymore. After reduction, price ll go only up.

Again I use quota mining as posted previously, westhash gets a share of my hashrate when price is favorable Smiley

sorry to say but I think I tried to anticipate the future, this coin is still very unknown not think that any trade will start accepting to switch to pos. if so it was with the drastic reduction in reward money had doubled and I see the same

please try with other words and a few small sentences

i am the last one allowed to complain about bad english

but really i didnt understand this one

edit:

i did try to understand harder

u say the pow reward reductuion should have doubled the coin price but u see the same

if that is the question then the answer is

the effect of less POW generated coins reach the market need some time to become visible in price

and its just a possitive factor and no guranteed effect

market is supply and demand

the changes at trigger did affect supply

if demand stay same or increase the price must react

but if price raise lot people who did just buy into dmd for small/medium trading gains will sell and increase supply on market again

so u cant expect a fast raise of dmd price

as long as lot dmd stay on cryptsy traders can play games that have much more effect on price than the actual pow reward ruleset

longterm the supply for trading games get reduced with every dmd a investor buy and put into his own wallet

this is a real reduction of supply on market

BUT

any month DMD stay stable towards BTC
u earned 4% compared to hold same value in BTC

so with DMD u increase ur stored wealth value even if price dont raise

IF

u have the coin in ur own wallet and mint regulary

more and more people discover this and the DMD they remove from market to stake in own wallet will have same or more impact than the pow reward reduction

All my blocks popped using the new wallet.

I see the point about enough CPU for the job.  My poor old P4 just works so hard.  Installing the wallet and transferring my diamonds to my dual core machine.

My 'good' PC runs a socket 775 dual core.  I installed the DMD wallet on it and transferred my wallet.dat to that wallet, so I'm only a couple generations behind now.   Smiley

I'll keep the old geezer for internet and use the better one for minting and Bioshock.

Socket 775 Q6600 quadcore minting just fine Smiley

Mining box intel G3220 dual core (P4 arch).
High end hardware not needed Smiley  280x and 7950 in mining box Smiley (Only neoscrypt mining right now due to low returns mining DMD presently).

G3220 is low-end nowadays and is indeed based on P4 (Basically a Pentium-D with some tweaks).

Outperforms the Q6600 in some cases Smiley such as video encoding using Handbrake Smiley

And so??? Name "Pentium" doesn't make it P4 (why not P3 or even P2 in this case?). Yes, it's low-end, but still latest arch CPU, nothing common with P4 or P-D.
Maybe you think what R5 250 is just a 3870 "with some tweaks" just because it's low-end?  Grin Grin Grin
