sourceforge seems to have some temporay problems but u can find all wallets here too http://diamond.danbo.bg/downloads/but make sure u choose the correct latest one 2.0.4 and i suggest u make sure ur diamond.conf have at least following lines Example entries in the config file: listen=1 noirc=1 addnode=193.68.21.19 addnode=54.191.208.14 addnode=54.255.133.30 addnode=54.86.164.216 bantime=600 and sync the chain can need some time u can skip 1 1/2 years syncing by use as example this synced blockchain https://mega.co.nz/#!yFFyFBgT!0sXA5k8DAwyiJVNsXo8qMXJgX34o81cTnGUevALdfzcthen only 4 months are left to sync i see its time to upload a new copy of synced blockchain this one is pretty old but better than nothing wow thank you, fast respond

wow thank you, fast respond thats how we are we hate coins where u have to wait 4 weeks to get a word from dev team at dmd diamond u can be sure that everyday we check the BTT thread and try to answer questions but this mindset did spread in community and most times other friendly members already answered first its nice to see we are all a bunch of people who work together and have a common goal to make this a success story when i did choose DMD diamond nearly 1 1/2 years ago it was after a intense analysis of existing coins which one have the potential and i did choose well yes we not where we wana be already but in this timeframe endless coins did come and go while we are still here and working on our break trough which will be dmd v3 and more and more people realize this and how different dmd is its just sad so many had to burn their fingers with other coins before they finally found dmd and lot not even came into that stage and left crypto community after their first bad experience this is one of the reason why crypto business grow so slow because to many people leave scared after hurt

Sadly I joined DMD at beginning and left when PoS failed V1, but I kept my coins only to see it had later been resurected by a good dev team in V2 and got PoS to work properly . (I know DMD history I read thread daily). Let's hope community input will see major changes in V3

A gift to all Tahiti card users : https://realhet.wordpress.com/ I helped develop this and benchmark it, I am mining 26MHs on a 280xLook for DiamondTahiti.elf in downloads area. Rename to match your current *.bin in sgminer. Restart sgminer to use new bin. NOTE: you may have cooling issues, this kernel runs GPU very hard, gotta love Utah winter cold here but will crash GPU if it gets too hot. Still have to run a space heater but last year no added heat needed mining scrypt ...

we have some people working to create a russian language DMD community up and running
it would be nice if we get such a language community going for chinese language too
is there anybody in community who can write mainland chinese (Mainland China adopted simplified Chinese characters in 1956. They are also used in Singapore. Traditional Chinese characters are used in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.) or who know people who can and are maybe interested start and maintain a dmd chinese community?

Been to all of these countries (perhaps some unclaimed children HAHA) while I was in US Navy (maybe that is where I got attitude/skeptic attidude) but did not learn any language, would be nice to become a larger worldwide community Gotta keep it english speaking in main thread but other threads are welcome with a moderator to translate if needed to cross-post to this thread.

I created the italian language thread but, apart from some flame because "I'm not an usual italian forum writer", there was no interest at all... Let's hope Russians and Chineses are different.

i guess regulary translate announcement and news to that thread would make u a "usual italian forum writer" but i understand that would be time consuming task but maybe u get in touch with interesting italian speaking people

This post reminds me of a thought I had a while back about the DMD symbol. The word ‘Diamond’ appears inscribed on the symbol, in English, twice. To me, this makes no sense. In order to give DMD more appeal, to make it look and ‘feel’ a lot more global, more ‘international’ in nature, would it not be wise to inscribe the word ‘Diamond’ in a variety of languages (including English of course!). I think there may be sufficient space for up to six (6) languages, representing a diversity of nations, continents and alphabets. My personal preference would be : English Russian Arabic Hindi Chinese (simplified) Indonesian What do people think of this?

I believe we would save a lot of resources if everybody would concentrate on learning a bit of english instead of translating programs, documentation, etc. but that's another story ;-)

I have fans running at 100% to cool it and its running about 3 degrees C hotter but still only 71 degrees C. I am not overclocking the card at the moment. The 280x seems to deliver less performance for the additional power used when overclocked - power consumption exceeds performance improvement. I can try this on the R9 290 but those already run ridiculously hot and I am hesitant. I fried one PSU/PCI-e cable already pushing them too hard. I am running out of power supplies and frankly, given the value of BTC right now, I don't want to increase my investment right now.

I am running out of power supplies and frankly, given the value of BTC right now, I don't want to increase my investment right now. Following up on my prior comments, I tried this with some of my R9 290s and again I got about a 4-5 mh/s boost from each card and again, I am not overclocking - although the R9 290s are better powerwise when overclocked than the 280x. I also looked at power consumption and it looks like each card consumes about 3-4 watts for the additional 4 mh/s which I think is very positive. In summary my R9 280x when from about 15.5 mh/s to about 21.7 mh/s with an increase in temp of about 3 degrees C My R9 290s when from about 20 mh/s to about 25 mh/s with negligible temp increase or fan speed increase using about 3 watts additional power. So in my case I am getting better than 20% performance improvement for about a 1% increase in power consumption. Nice work!

I have modded my cards with VBE7 and additionally redone heatsink paste with "arctic silver". With my ambient temp gpu at 65-69C I get crashes above 71C ... Keep in mind the "golden age" of DMD is soon to end, mine as many as u can even at a loss LOL had the fried PSU problem before also fired MB ... use powered riser cable

block reward reduction to 0.1 will have major effect on value of DMD as miners drop out of the game, but diff will drop too so keep mining unless something really bad happens I expect price to rise 8-10x but that is bad for buyers. So your mined coins become an even more desired resource
