It's very nice that people want to sell stuff for Monero, but please open a separate thread, and link to it once from here, that'll save on what quickly becomes spam for people not interested in this or that item.

Thanks

Hopefully someone can help.  I started mining Monero (bitMonero) near the beginning. There were so many scammy companies that I got mixed up in I just stopped and gave up.  Well recently I heard Bitcoin was up again so I began checking my old hard drives for wallets.

I found my old Bitmonero wallet with 12 coins. I think the wallet was 0.8.8.1  Not much I know.  I guess my question is can I salvaged these old coins?  What do I need to do if I can?  Thanks for any info!!!

Yes, if you know the password to the wallet, and you have both the wallet file and the wallet.keys file, then you should be able to just open it up in the latest version of monero-wallet-cli I think.

Snook, you maybe know this already, but after you have access to your coins it would be worth creating a new wallet and moving the coins there instead. This way you have the benefit of seed words for future restoration if needed, as the new wallet will be deterministic.

Thanks JW and Bosco!  Ok I'll see what I can do.  yep, I have everything included when I first set up the wallet and miner.  Do I need to install the new wallet and let it sync?   or would I sync the older wallet first and try to send coins to new?

From what I can see, the fork is pretty much flawless, thus far.  There will always be some stragglers, but hash rate and active nodes appears to be rockin' right along.  Better than the last one (which was reasonably, um... smooth), and a good sign for the next one.

Are there already any block explorers updated that show the blocks after the hard fork?

- You can figure out what will happen, not when /Warren Buffett
- Pay any Bitcoin address privately with a little help of Monero.

These both show RingCT transactions correctly:

Yeah - you doubled your bid. And it's only you bidding.  I reckon he should snap it up.  I though of bidding 1% over you on your first bid, but $1.01 would have been a little more than I wanted to pay. I decided against it, you're obviously determined to get it.
