Question: Should a portion of the unclaimed coins be made available for those that missed the swap?
Yes - We have enough to spare, even for late-comers.
No - Sufficient notice and time to complete the swap was given. It wouldn't be fair to those that were punctual.

Same here, no sync,

Sent all to Bittrex but no confirmations and not pending ??

Any Ideas?

UPDATE:

I have used the 'repairwallet' command in wallet console to return the unconfirmed coins.

Awaiting further instructions to get these coins into bittrex

Last block 70834?

I noticed there seem to be big gaps of 8 to 10 hours on the same block, then loads of blocks get found really quickly. Hopefully the blockchain should start moving again in a few more hours.

My wallet is not in sync
How to send to bittrex?

Verify:
You have the most recent client (brown logo, not green/white).
The two nodes listed in the OP are in your coffeecoin.conf file, and that file is in the folder with your blockchain, not your wallet executable

Try:
Delete your blockchain and redownload it (NOT your wallet.dat).

I have the new wallet,
Blockchain is re-downloading - will update once complete

Latest wallet with conf file added, deleted and re downloaded blockchain

Wallet is still out of sync.. I'm stuck Huh

The current network is borked

As long as the transaction is loaded into the blockchain, it will EVENTUALLY get confirmed. Sometimes this takes several hours due to the unusual block times we've been experiencing lately. Send your coins and be patient...that's the best advice I have at the moment.

As for the syncing issues, I've experienced them as well and I'm out of ideas. It comes and goes, not sure why. For those with major issues during the relaunch (can't send coins at all) I'm devising a plan to handle your swaps manually. As of right now, that might take place after the exchanges are fully updated to V2 to deter fraud.

What I'm trying to avoid and why I don't like the manual-way:
A user feigns wallet issues, but already has their V1 coins available to send/sell. I send them V2 coins while exchanges are still accepting V1 for the swap. They sell their V1 coins, wait for the exchanges to swap to V2, then sell those too.

I could use cfcguild.com somehow to handle manual swaps, just trying to work out how. Perhaps a secured form where a user can upload their V1 wallet.dat, wallet password (if encrypted) and a V2 address. I manually extract the V1 coins, then send the same amount of V2 coins to the user.... Just playing around with ideas, here.

That's a great suggestion, but it doesn't quite apply to our situation. I will only handle manual swaps for those that cannot send their coins to the exchange due to wallet issues. Any one that can send is encouraged to send their coins to an exchange as soon as possible. The manual swap will most likely be done after the exchanges are no longer accepting V1 coins, to prevent double-spending.

If you want faster transactions go to your debug console and write:

setgenerate true 1

With almost all coins on exchanges it will become close to impossible for PoS to find blocks, so you need to use PoW if you want to help the network until the new coin is ready.

Withdrawals were disabled 24 hours ago on sharexcoin. Also, it has been offline for most of today. It is now over 24 hours since the dev logged into bitcointalk, and his last post here was early in the morning of June 02.

His profile is at the link below.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=322368

Nobody posting in the sharexcoin exchange's thread has been able to contact the dev by any of the methods he provided. The link to the exchange's thread is below.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=598531.620

I would advise anyone thinking of sending their coffee coins to sharexcoin for the swap to use a different exchange until this gets sorted out.

What should people do who sent their coins to sharexcoin for the swap? Do they lose their coins if the exchange never reopens?

Contingency

I appreciate the heads-up. I'll post a caution in the OP until we hear otherwise, but in the meantime, I will personally try to reach them. Unfortunately, we (as in the CFC community) only have so much control over an exchange, let alone its owner's actions; that's the risk we take in involving ourselves in the world of cryptocurrencies. In spite of this recent development, I will do what I can to help out anyone that may lose coins as a result.

Originally, I had planned to do the exchange swap for a week, a manual swap for another week (for those with faulty wallets), and load any unclaimed coins into the faucet (or vote on its use). If we still haven't heard anything from ShareXcoin by the end of this 2 week period, V2 coins from the unclaimed batch will issued, provided each holder can show proof of loss. I'm thinking a screenshot of your wallet showing the transaction, complete with time-stamp along with the sender's address. I will most likely host it on my own personal website (cfcguild) via submission form, to avoid cluttering this thread and prevent cheating.

It's difficult to prove that you've sent other coins to ShareXcoin, then bought CFC...I'm open to suggestion on this matter.

On the other hand...

Most are blaming DDOS for the downtime. I would keep checking back and transfer your coins out ASAP if it comes back up any time soon. Either way, I'll set aside a batch of coins specifically for ShareX holders.

Thanks for the fast contingency plan.

This is the last thing you need after the broken wallet and slow network problems the last dev left you with!

haha yeah, it's a bit stressful, but we'll get through it. I had to give up my chance to buy Formula Drift tickets, among other things, to pay for this update.
