As long as you didn't overwrite or delete your old wallet.dat file, it should still be recoverable. Nothing from the old client is compatible with the new, and vice versa, so do NOT overwrite your old wallet. This isn't an update, so much as it is a total replacement.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, please explain. The old version of CFC is a fork of Ybcoin. This version of CFC is a fork of Orangecoin, and has completely new genesis data from the old version. Nothing from the old version is compatible with the new, including the wallet.dat file, hence the reason for the swap.

For #1, Richie at Bittrex handles the swaps, and he's a hard guy to get in contact with. Bleutrade is actively working on their swap, and C-Cex should be getting back with me today to receive their coins for the swap as well. Check the OP for the latest information regarding each exchange's swap status. It always has the most current info.

You're free to submit a claim for purchased CFC or for any other reason, but you'll have to wait until all other swap types are complete. Proof isn't required, but GREATLY increases your chances of payout.
